i noticed a difference when playing kof online as well. 3 bar connection feels like 3 bar connection. while 2 bar connection feels like pre-patch 3 bar connection. @Astaroth: K, but you play wesker.

I wouldn't compare throw teching in SC to tripping in brawl. Tripping is purely random. Throwing isn't. And honestly in a game where everyone has a weapon of some kind. It's kind of hard to stick your arm out without it getting chopped off...so throws need to be rewarding in some way. I heard Ezio gets lots of clean hits from one of his moves. Don't remember. Btw, is Ezio banned from tourney play?

@Astaroth: WELLL I was going to use Yun Seong...but...he's not in the game. Last Soul Calibur I played was SC2 which people tell me is a good thing. In this game I'm playing Maxi. And WTF is with Natsu and her damage. She's fast and she hits like a truck?! wtf. Xiba is like kilik: annoying. Astaroth is fun to fight against. Feels like David vs Goliath kind of match and it looks soo cool when you dodge his axe swings.

Just got SCV LOL. Story mode is lame but eh not why i got the game, let alone a FIGHTING game... "malfested this malfested that" basically this sums up the story: Patroklos: "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH IM TIRED OF THESE MOTHERFUCKING MALFESTED IN THIS MOTHERFUCKING TOWN! EVERYBODY PULL YOUR SWORDS OUT! WE'RE ABOUT TO OPEN SOME FUCKING SKULLS!"

Star we don't "dick-ride" each other. There are plenty of times where we agree or disagree with each other's opinions, including yours. It's not everyone else's fault and it's certainly not "dick-riding" if the majority of us don't agree with what you say and to be frank it's how you post your opinions that can come off as annoying or offensive which can lead to an argument. That's my opinion, and i'm not trying to entice an argument.

I agree Makoto is S tier but I think Star is exaggerating her strengths and the other top characters' weaknesses. She isn't as godly as Star puts it but she is S tier. That being said, Of the characters listed under A tier both Hazama and Tao deserve to be in S tier because those two characters have all the tools and variety needed to continue being dynamic throughout the game's life where other characters' metagames become stale. If you gave this game the same lifespan as MvC2 to develop Tao and Haz would be on the top. When Makoto hits she hits you hard. That's true, however, she does lack range. Her normals are very good but they all lack the range most other characters' have on their normals. She lacks options in terms of mobility. Her only three ways of approach is dash, airdash, and jump. Astral vision doesn't count because you get hit out of it easy. Some of the cast can take advantage of these two aspects and use their mid range spacing tools i.e. Jin j.C, Ragna 5B, etc. In the corner though, she does become the exceptional god of bb and her combos all put you in the corner, but in the neutral game she does have the weaknesses stated above. Hazama has some of the best blockstrings in the game, especially since he has the most jump cancelable normals. Not to mention the overhead follow up on serpent's benediction is like -2 or -3 on block. You press a button he will counter hit you with his jab. Tao is a whiff punishing god. and when you decide to stop pressing buttons and block she has some of the best mix-ups. It's not as obvious that tao and haz are worthy of S-tier as Makoto because only a handful of players can fully take advantage of all of their tools. While Makoto's learning curve is relatively low. Oh yeah, and her damage and corner oki isn't something that "re-created S-tier"...did you forget about cs1 litchi? she has everything makoto has and also range

If anyone is watching the blazblue gods garden stream here are some stats about what the majority of the top players (it is invitational only) are playing: the most common characters were bang tao and ragna lol. each having 4 players playing them. Tager and Litchi at 3. No rachels or valks ...Hima didnt get invited?... I agree with tao ragna and bang being the most common. They have the easiest mixups lawlz.

I want to troll commentate on matches...please~ The SC5 roster is pretty upsetting. lol at kilik and sophitia becoming custom character sprites. I was hoping the final characters to be revealed all had unique playstyles. Instead i get three palette swaps: Sword Master, Kilik, Sophitia looking person. I mean sword master really should be the only character that can do every style. Kilik could have had a different pole style than xiba. And where is Yun Seong? Taki got a replacement but where is his? There isn't a character on SC5 roster that is his playstyle. T___T

So if you basically take a regular average brain...and you turn it upside down that's Star's brain.
