[CP] News & Gameplay Discussion (Old)
Chaoschao222 replied to kosmos badgirl's topic in BlazBlue Gameplay
OD Mecha Tager Beam is Golden Tager X. My bias against Kokonoe aside, that's pretty cool. Also Arakune used to be so handsome ;^; -
Go to the gameplay thread, this is not the place to talk about Kokonoe as a playable character.

[CP] News & Gameplay Discussion (Old)

Labrys' playstyle would not work well with Kokonoe, unless her hammer and wrench are the size of May's anchor. With her emphasis on SCIENCE and the inclusion of a hammer, until we get confirm-able info, I just see this dumb cat as a 2D Mechromancer. -
[CSE] Makoto Nanaya's General Gameplay Discussion Thread
Chaoschao222 replied to OmniSScythe's topic in Archives
I could add all the pretty pictures and nifty numbers for her chara page later (other than new sprites, do you have mook cut-outs, Kuru?), but I don't have enough Makoto experience to actually make comments "list[ing] any properties that are noteworthy." I could also add a few links to the resource stuff. -
How does anyone in their right mind actually play with an arcade stick?
Chaoschao222 replied to Raziul's topic in Archive
They give potentially higher levels of APM. There are physical limits to how much your fingers, especially the thumb, can do at once. With arcade sticks using your wrist for motion, it can be much faster and concise than a thumb. And as Osuna said, the right hand using all its fingers for buttons is also an advantage; be it for one-frame links or just overall faster execute-to-action between the fingers and the game. Note these advantages are not guaranteed. For some people, pad is simply better for them to play than stick and always will be, which seems to be the case for you (though I have no idea how much time you actually spent trying to learn the peripheral). As also stated, most fighting games are meant to be played on an arcade-style platform, which can create less-than-desirable needs for macroing buttons on pad in 6-button fighters, and can make negative-edging feel unnatural. Again, depending on the player these issues can be overcome, but the point to all of this is there are many logical reasons as to why someone would pick a fighting game's "native" method of control over the controller pad. (personally I primarily play pad and probably always will) -
She's cute She's seigi She's Gundam Gotta be it.

In general, Skype chats are just text chat rooms for general discussion; depending on the group, they may do calls now and then as well. Very rarely do they do face-to-face stuff. I'm not in this one, so I dunno how it operates, but I'd assume it's mostly text-chat, be it random, or setting up matches/discussing such.

and Unfortunately, I can't say this anyway but bluntly, but your post made me think it was just a spambot using BB lingo. It honestly seems like random guessing rather than founded speculation.

BlazBlue Setting Material Collection Information
Chaoschao222 replied to Suzaku's topic in Zepp Museum
This thread has long since served its purpose, and is meant to be an info dump, not... seemingly odd opinions and speculations, so this thread is now closed until/unless Suzaku PMs me with more to add. -

Interesting, a SG character in the UNiB artstyle and gameplay could be really nifty. -

This is hardly the place to discuss character personalities to this degree. Though I don't care for discussions about turning bland characters into generic ones, the best place for this conversation to continue, if it does so, is Zepp. -

lol that cover mindfucked me so hard, I saw Noel's legs as an extension of Jin's body and thought "Jin, why are you so smooth? Why can I see your armpi-- oh hi Noel..." -
We all know how well that worked out with Amane. I don't think it matters whether or not Hibiki has a male or female VA, as long as it captures a consistent feeling as his JP self does.

This. Be patient, this is your warning. It's barely been a week since you last asked about it. -
Roku Eiyu would hardly be any more creative, especially from the Japanese pov. Also, what do you mean so uncreative this time? I don't think Justice Sword is any less creative than Sword of Doom, or The Tyrant any less than Queen of Rose, etc. If the Six Heroes theme really is just 'Six Heroes', then yeah that's pretty lame, but otherwise, the new character theme names don't seem any less creative than previous theme names.

Like Bibi said, Mu was unlockable by beating the story or paying $2 for an auto-unlock; Kagura will likely be the same. That said, rushing through story mode shouldn't take more than 3-6 hours. -
>XBL thread teeters between being an XBL thread and Netplay General for ages >get a new netplay mod >goes full NPG Bibi pls.
