  1. more jbbs notes of interest : air throw route midscreen : dash 6a 6b 2c 2d j.c j.b dj.b j.c j.2c land j.c j.2c. The guy then says that you used to have to 2c 2d sj.a in cpex, so the fact that j.c works there means something changed that we don't know about yet. corner throw combo for high meterless damage (not caring about oki) : Throw>SoD max>2C>5D>2C>5D>JC>JC>J2C>J6D>J2C>land6C>tokotachi>5D>4D>6C>tokotachi ~4000 damage
  2. Meetup will be at our apartment this Friday, guys at smashloft are busy with smash intensifies. We'll have our tournament next week. 6:30pm to whatever
  3. Yes. That said, I forgot to mention that Blazblue and Under Night tournaments have not been officially added to the lineup yet, as console versions of those games have not been announced yet (if they get announced and are released before the event though...). HOWEVER, since it's during golden week, there's bound to be a lot of other big events for these games. Last year, the day after BB was at KSB, there was a big 3v3 tournament at A-Cho with 150 entrants, and the next day, an event at Athena that got 70 something entrants (they did both random teams 3v3 and planned teams 3v3). I think there was something big at shinjuku sportsland right before too but we weren't there yet so idk.
  5. I believe you can still use ikutachi after 2c for sideswap routes, which you can also in the current version, and it makes a lot more sense for it to be used this way. Far from useless. To give you an idea concerning midscreen combos, here's stuff from jbbs : 2B〉5B〉6B〉2D〉2C〉2D〉jcJC〉JB〉jcJB〉JC〉J2C〉laser hit 〉5C〉2C〉air ender (so like j.c j.2c or whatever, maybe superjump for something more damaging?) 2901 if its a 2b starter, 3011 if its 6b Corner-wise, apparently 6b(1) air hit 5d 3c sod 2b 6a 4d 5c 2c j.c j.2c did 3.9k. Idk if it was in active flow or not, but that doesn't look really optimal, so our damage is probably bigger than last version in this situation. Certainly greater overall, and less reliance on sideswap combos for decent damage, so better corner carry overall. more combos : corner : 6B>6C>max sod charge >5C>6C max SoD charge >5C>2C>JcJBJC>JcJBJCJ2C>昇龍コマンドのやつで3700 corner : 2B>5C>6C>5D>5C>SoD>microdash3C(5Dhit)>5D>5C>2C>jcJC>delayJ2C(5Dhit)>6A>6B>2C>4D>JC>J2C midscreen OD : 6BOD〉6D〉5C〉2C〉laser hit 〉JC〉J2C〉laser hit 〉ikutachi 〉omohikane 4200 approx There's another few notes, apparently SoD CH midscreen you can pick up with like dash 6a or 5c? New move is apparently really amazing, stays out even if you block, and much easier to get a combo from. Anyway, I'll wait until I can see for myself, maybe in a few days when people start figuring out better combo routes, but this character is looking much better.
  6. Meetup at our place Friday at 6:30 pm. I guess we'll ask them then, and test the connection to see if everyone's comfortable with it. Personally I feel we might as well play offline and stream it, allowing them to restream it or whatever, but if it's more convenient for them that we have a lobby, whatever.
  7. Kyle says monitors have arrived, so no need to bring them tonight. Bring consoles and sticks/controllers, obviously.
