It's an 8 hour drive if we don't stop or have traffic. If we leave at 10, we'll get there for 6 PM. We'll probably do casuals until 3-4 AM with the other crews like at ECT. The earlier we get there, the more casuals we do. Try to sleep a lot this week so you accumulate enough for this weekend. Oh btw here's a tip, when you get home from a meetup, brush your teeth and go to sleep right away, don't open your computer.

My guess is the audio tracks are separate and nini didn't have them in the same folder so you didn't take them. Not really a problem though, finish this week's and if we haven't advanced since, start uploading last week's. Don't worry, we're talking about the Mu boards. We don't have arguments, unless we get invaded. By the way, just a heads up, but Dio and Arigatou Sagi (although we haven't seen anything from these lately) are also pretty instructive to watch. Just something I noticed while making the list, I didn't check them all out though, so this isn't exclusive.

(Adding to what Zeromus said) Yeah, a good mix of offline and online is probably the best. Offline of course being against good human opponents that can give you advice, and not a bot. Online may give you a few bad habits, but it teaches you how to adapt, always playing the exact same 2-3 people doesn't give you that. Look for a scene nearby, check the match finder, you never know! The best thing about online though, is that it's really easy to record your matches so you can watch them after to notice your mistakes, bad habits, etc.

Hmm. Stopping the porn while commentating is indeed an issue. What I suggest is that we switch up the order of the devices. We'll do PS3 - splitter to TV - console - dazzle - PC, so the sound and video will come through the same USB. I'm guessing we're getting the audio from a separate USB as the video, which is what's causing the delay between the two.

strongly hesitating between going to the meetup or watching this... I think I'll bring my laptop to Foonzo. The last one was gdlk. I'll have an account this time, you won't get away with calling us shit. @Bibi : will you be able to fix it for the videos? If the delay is consistent, you shouldn't have too much trouble, else, don't bother. I'll have to take another look at the setup to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Well, I just realized that that with our current setup, we could actually start streaming our weekly tournaments. I remember trying to do a small research on it a while ago, to get something decent from my HD-PVR, but I had difficulty finding something free. I don't expect us to have many viewers, so I wouldn't go out of my way to pay for this, but if anyone knows something about streaming, speak up. The input to the computer would of course be the Dazzle. Just an idea, but bibi, if you're looking for parts, there might be something worth extracting from brice's old ps3? ps: tsubaki is TS, tager is TG (to avoid confusion with Taokaka)

GGs last night, I've been neglecting my practice recently so I was dropping stuff all night in every game. I need to get my shit together before summer jam. Anyone going to Foonzo tonight? I need the practice. I can see that both sides are angry, but I don't see why we should have to move. We had two setups for BB/GG. They had two setups for Brawl/Melee. The last setup was used by those playing marvel. As much as we knew that they were coming, they also knew we had a meetup, and as much as we also meetup on other days, Thursday is the most important one, which is why we do weekly tournaments on Thursdays. The last HQ meetup was over a month ago, and we've been going to Foonzo since then. Why didn't they just chose to have their meetup on a different day, like Wednesday? Foonzo doesn't belong to either community. If we said "no meetup today guys" people having probably planned going there will be like "I have nothing else planned, so I might as well go anyways" and suddenly... meetup! If possible, we should check with the owner if they could synch a controller to a marvel head-to-head, so it would clear up at least one setup, and hopefully they'll get their 6th TV repaired/replaced soon. Last night, the head-to-heads were barely used (almost no queue) compared to the TVs (3+ people queue, each), so it might be in their interest to get more. I actually thought that it would be ok to have only about 2 stations for each game, but attendance was bigger than usual, so either one of our communities has to change their meetup day. I don't think it's going to be us, because people got used to Thursdays, we've been having Thursday meetups since... January or December? I can't remember. But then again classes are starting again, so maybe another day will be more convenient for our big meetups. I hope our communities won't hate each other from now on tldr : accommodements raisonnables. Only Vice-Taicho and Kr3wman would be on your way I think. By the way, I don't think many of us would be able to help you with your Xbox problem. Nini and Blade don't have live any more, I lent my Xbox to brice, so maybe you could catch him before he goes to work... If not there's Steb and Dai Loli who might have Live, but not sure.

Is your console compatible with RCA cables? Because that's what we'll have coming from the TV, assuming we're using Nini's (steb's?)Dazzle to record. The setup they had at the HQ was had a bunch of converters in order to get the audio coming from the TV from RCA to 1/4" cables, plug them into the console. So unless I'm mistaken, we'd need two RCA-1/4" and two 1/4"-RCA converters in order to use your console with the dazzle to record. So in the case that you don't have all of this, you might be better off not bringing your console and setup because we wouldn't be able to use it for now.
