@Steb/Kr3w : tell the smash guys that we can just share the TVs with them. There's like 5-6 CRTs anyways, we'll probably have 3-4 setups. 1 for the tournament, 1 for GG, 0-2 for BB/marvel casuals. Anyways, the less casual stations we have the more hype for the tournament. We should be less than last week anyways.

Plz test simultaneous video + commentary recording. That's the hard one.

The uploads from last week are with Nini, who doesn't have a way to upload them. I'll bring a USB and hope I can fit some matches on it, others should do the same. Unless really no one shows up today we'll do the weekly tournament anyways, it'll just be with less people. It doesn't stop us from running another tournament, like tomorrow.

Don't forget we have our weekly tournament tomorrow. Please confirm your attendance, so we have an idea of how many setups we'll need, though we might have to share some TVs with the smash community. Also, if someone could confirm that they're bringing their recording setup it would be great, and also that we can have someone ready to take the recordings from that person in the case where the person doing the recordings doesn't have the capacity to upload them to youtube. However, this is probably specific to this week, as Bibiquadium has offered to upload videos from now on, but can't be there tomorrow.

Hmm. I will say I was on autopilot and nerves pretty badly those games (to explain the hitconfirms and decision making :P) but my game plan is usually to send out either 236A, 214D or 236D and once they're blocking, go in for a mixup and get out. Against noel and tager. Should I just not go in for a mixup period, after 236A/214D and use the blocked projectile to put myself farther from them to keep placing steins and zoning to make their way in harder, and only go in for mixup only after cover by a 236D or ]D[? (and yes 236A against tager from that range was a bad idea, I used to play that guy all the time, so I thought I'd be able to catch him off guard, because I've been recently using that move a lot more than I used to in other matchups, and bait sledge) Thanks for the advice btw, I didn't think I'd actually get something out of these games where I played pretty badly, but rewatching them with what you guys said in mind got me to notice a few things and made me rethink others. (ex: yes why indeed did I not use 236D against noel? Even though I was autopiloting that specific match, I know I don't use it enough in that matchup in general, it really does counter a lot of her options)

Just cancel into 5D or 236A on block. Or 236D if you're feeling greedy. Assuming they don't slow down the startup on these moves.

Media servers are sooo random though, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't... and there's not much you can do about it If you get it in time, come to NEC in philly in december, according to some people, it's the best tournament for animu games. Toronto is planning to have a tournament in spring, I think, and our next big one in Montreal is going to be in early january, but that's kinda far from chicago...

Maybe you could bring your console instead of recording equipment, we'll more likely be low on that. Soldering is easier than it looks, I think (because, well, the first time I saw some was me actually doing it for a uni project), but then again it's really easy to screw up even if you know what you're doing so...

I'm opposed to having marvel and bb run at the same time. Let's just start BB earlier, like 7:30, and actually start at 7:30. That way we can also have hype and shit talking commentary for that game that's full of BS.

The PS3s at foonzo don't have the CS2&DLC unless this changed since last time. I'm guessing Nini will bring his xbox because he usually does.
