East Coast Throwdown update: reservations at the discount price for the hotel where the tournament is held are ending on June 3rd, so I'd like to have confirmation from brice and steb and preferably a 4th person to join us asap. but yeah I'll talk to you guys about this at the meetup if you guys are there, it's just that I might forget. Details : The room is 2 double beds, 149$ per night, and we're probably going to stay 2 nights, leave early friday morning, and return late Sunday after the event. It's a 6.5h drive, so maybe we could stretch it out a bit, and go on Thursday and/or return Monday. The friday in question here is the 24th of june so holiday for us, I think it's a great opportunity to go to a major that's accessible both in terms of $$ and time.

Depending on how long it's going to take you, you could go MAT-interview-MAT. Might take you as little as under an hour, if it's during a tournament you're participating in, you might as well DQ, but we'll be hanging around for a long time. Also, could you help me open a port on my computer?

Well it's 1 week before the tournament and the PSN store isn't back so the character is not available yet on PSN, it would be lame to announce that she's banned the day before the tournament, so we're doing it now. The tournament will be run on PS3, so if we don't specify that she's banned, we might have some issues between someone who wants to play her on Xbox against someone who plays PS3 pad. Even then, the slight lag difference between console ports makes switching between both PS3 and Xbox an issue for characters with difficult execution. like bibiquadium said, there will always be complaints, and in my opinion, this is the easy way to solve this situation. PS: thank you sony and hackers for having a good relationship. Guess we'll talk about this with the guys from toronto as well this weekend while we'll be there, so if you really want to wait for a final answer, we'll have it Sunday or Monday. TLDR : not banning will bring more potential problems and I like to worry so I want to play it safe. Others have their own reasons but I think the majority would be for the ban.

Since me and Brice are going to anime north tomorrow, but not today, we'll be registering when it opens, and we dunno how long that's going to take, so could one of you guys please sign us up for the Blazblue tournament? In fact, you should see it more as "she's banned if she's released before MAT8, if not she's just unavailable." I don't like banning characters either, and I really had to think about and discuss with the others before coming to that decision. It's unfair for PS3 users who won't have any experience in the matchup, because there was no way they could get any. (lol because I probably have more platinum matchup exp than carl)
