  1. Might just be really hard to do against Litchi. I think I got it to work pretty early on in my testing so maybe I was just lucky. But yeah, I like how we get all our old combo routes back(sorta) and some new ones that actually make our damage decent, but then they make them so incredibly hard AND character specific that even Japan doesn't do them...like what the hell. I thought CS2 DP whiff combos were hard enough already for new players to learn, they'll never get these down ;_; Beginner character my ass.
  2. Hit or miss, input delay seems lowered but I find the game doesn't look smooth at all, lots of effects cause FPS lag very quickly. Overall it just doesn't look like the game is running at 60 FPS, certain stages seem to amplify this. I wonder if this is just a problem with US/EU considering we don't have Japan-tier internet and all, and if so I wouldn't expect a patch or anything.

You're not forced to let 6C fully hit but there's no reason to jump early because you'll just be missing out on free damage. 22D timing does not matter. j.D has to be done ASAP after jumping from 6C, j.C has to be done ASAP after j.D ends. 5C has a slight delay due to landing recovery. if 5C > 2C hits 2CC will never miss in this combo unless you delayed it for too long (feel free to mash 2CC out at this point).
  5. It would catch people off-guard, yeah. but I'm not sure if it's worth sacrificing 50 meter. I prefer charge cancelling my combos and then going for the command grab as a sort of reset. Of course that probably won't work after the first time
  6. Oh jesus, j.214A combo route in the corner is character-specific. Doesn't work against: Nu, Kagura, Carl, Mu Characters where you have to use 5A >2C > Ender (better off using DP whiff): Bullet, Litchi, Makoto. Characters where 236C whiffs: Tao.
  7. I don't think it's in any video yet, I made it up but haven't recorded it yet. I'll put it in my 2nd combo video though.
  8. Tsubaki's max damage in CP seems to be 11.4K, it's practical in the sense that you can do it off baited DP's(well, some...only a few really XD), but that's really where the practicality ends, requires 5 charges, about 40% HP for the OD and of course 100 meter to start.

  10. 5BB gives you more options than 5C, if you always opt for 5B > 5C in your pressure you're severely limiting yourself to be honest. I agree that it whiffs way too much now but it's definitely not completely useless, just use it with caution.
  11. 5B>5CC > 623C > delay j.214A(do it REALLY low to the ground) > 5C > 2C(delay)C > 236C > 5A > 2C > 236B > 214B > 22B = 2.8K-ish.
  12. Have you guys learned the j.214A corner combo route yet? So far it seems to be the most optimized corner combo you can do without charge/meter, 2.8K off 5BB >5C. 3.1K off 5CC and 3.9K off 5C > 6C. And they all end in ground ender, unlike DP whiff
  13. I can only reach 9.7K using OD, 5 charge mugen and a 6C starter. I fully expected 22D full charge FC to be the best starter, and considering it's proration and damage (1200) it really should be, the problem is you can't easily do double [4]6D > 236D and you also have to use OD and do something else in the combo before you go into Mugen to get the 5 charge, costing you precious combo time in the process. not to mention you can end the double [4]6D > 236D combo with 214D > full charge 22D > 236236D but you can't do that if your starter is 22D due to the SMP. ;_;

Seems fine to me, it's really 5BB that seems to kill the proration since you can reach nearly 3.1K midscreen chargless/meterless using DP whiff combo if you start it with 5B > 5CC. a lot lower if you do the full 5BB > 5CC . not sure about 5BB > 5C but I think around 2.6K? Still way higher than EX in any case. 5B CH into 6C is also really good, of course 5C is even better but considering 5B is your main poke, don't even think about using it less

  16. Yeah, CT > 5C doesn't work on him, but 5CC picks him up still, though I'm gonna go ahead and say that would only work early on in the combo.
  17. Also DP whiff routes (both 5A and 5C) don't seem to work on Amane, either I missed it 30 times in a row or it really doesn't work on him. Seems like 2C just phases through him, maybe if 2C had it's old active frames it would hit him ;/
  18. Should work on everyone, there are also some characters where you do not need to dash if you use 5C. Litchi comes to mind as shown in the video, and Bang also doesn't require a dash. EDIT: Actually after some more testing if you want to use the combo Kiba posted you NEED to dash otherwise 2CC will whiff as you're going for the IAD. If you use 214D after 5C > 2C though you can followup after that and of course go for the ground ender since SMP won't kick in.
  19. I'm not new myself, but I know of one other dutch player who just started out with CP. Not sure if he has the game yet and I'm not even sure of his PSN tag but he's in the UK/EU Skype group. if you want I could invite you as well as there are also some newer UK players in there.

  21. I am 100% sure that is still possible. I swear to god I did 5C CH > 5D > 5CC at some point while I was doing the 6A Fatal 5CC > 5D loop.

  23. Definitely gonna have fun with those Oki setups. loving the orbs already! Having said that, I don't agree with Zouf's point of Tsubaki's damage being lower, it's definitely higher overall off most starters tbh. Even then, her neutral is vastly improved and command grab is a welcome change. Now if only they could get rid of j.D recovery so that charge cancelling air moves for mixup is actually a viable thing. :V
