  1. Second combo is legit, did it a couple of times myself (how the hell do you think I gave you that damage value?), but is reaaaaaally difficult timing. You have to input j2C it in a very specific time, think FRC timing hard. Also, only works with Hop Tsubaki. TK tsubaki takes longer to land and then IAD, so they'll tech by then. I tested this on Ragna, so it may or may not work with some people. ALSO, you have to be close when the hop Tsubaki hits, any further than the distal 3/5ths of Haku's sword and it won't work. Edit: @Spark: What do you think we should do about how this combo thread's situation?
  2. Is it just me, or is this thread poorly made/maintained? The first post is hardly updated with the new stuff (the OP might be busy with life etc., why not have Spark as OP instead? Or Sans, he's a regular contributor here), and while there are pretty useful stuff in there, there's a lot of basic stuff missing as well. Where are the damage values, the amount of meter/stars gained back? I found a combo off of a 3C CH, with P2 1/4 of the screen towards the corner: (4) CH 3C> 2B > Gurren > rising j2C >Tsubaki >AD falling j2C> Corner Loop Damage: 4811, regain 1.5 stars Edit: Forgot about this one, anywhere on screen: (3) Hop Tsubaki> IAD j2C> land 5B/2C > forward j.2A> AD j.2A > j.C Damage: 3900 with 2C, 3721 with 5B, very little meter regained
  3. Err... The sprites are a bit too small, I was thinking Ragna to show from his waist up, same with Haku. And make Ragna face the text. And if possible without going over the file size, a black background.

  9. Ok, then, allow me to be your first customer: Gintoki colored Ragna in a Bloodkain stance, zombie-colour (colour scheme 11 in the game) Haku in a Mugen stance, my username in between the two. Bonus points if you can make it animated, but that's just something extra should you want to do it.
  10. Hi, just dropping in to say you do good stuff, dude. Also, 2 things about that tournament poster template: 1. Ryu is drawn in SNK style. Looks pretty cool, SNK character portraits always rock. 2. That Ragna pic is soooo friggin cool, link to original pic please?
  11. You know, there's always some mention of keeping videos on the front page in (almost) every post so far. That's a great idea, but it needs to be more specific: what kind of videos, and from where? I'm in favor of keeping good CMVs and good Japanese gameplay vids, like game-acho or tachikawa or chariot, those are top level play vids that would be beneficial to anyone who would learn from watching them, instead of scrubs (or even good players) derping on netplay because its netplay. Also tournament vids from various scenes would be good too. Lol. Good advice AND shameless self-promo at the same time? Btw, are the vids from July TSB archived/uploaded somewhere? I missed the stream last time. :/

  14. There's almost nothing to discuss. The gap between each tier is really small. Spark was just GODLIKE! Edit: Ofc, Skynet was GODLIKE as well, but Spark was like "Sorry bro, gonna crash you down" and just was more GODLIKE. Congrats to LK as well, you beat Japan!
  15. Makoto being most used is understandable, but... Lambda is second? Ad no Ragna makes me sad. But I'm pretty hype for A92 and Akira being there.
  16. 4C has never been FC. It only had a huge hitstun on CH, that's it. Edit: Personally I feel Hakumen is fine as he is right now, excluding his damage. He only needs to dish out higher damage. Like if they gave him 65% character prorate, he'd be better. And also, give his Zantetsu a 120% bonus prorate (maybe on the second hit? or first hit, I dunno really), to see it have more use in combos would be nice. EDIT EDIT: Oh yeah, and give him his old 2A start-up speed .

  18. No. Whenever Hakumen does a 2+ mag or super, auto-gain is stopped for X frames. If you do a D counter during that time (if you're able to, i.e. if you dropped your combo immediately after a 2+ mag move/was mixing up with 2+ mag move which got blocked, and the enemy did a move and you caught it with D), then you won't get a full star, you'll get 25%. Try it out in training, you'll see what I mean. Set the dummy to block everything, do a renka, then make the dummy immediately attack you afterwards, and counter with a D.

  23. I wonder if Mori was asked if Tager would become better in his interview in Revelations? Also, I hope ASW maybe release a teeensy balance patch for console and arcade with release of CS2+ on PSVita (PSV for short), dealing with Tager and maybe top-tiers (like maybe giving noel's muzzle flitter less damage and bad P2 proration, but making it throw invulnerable in its start-up, and making Makoto's 2D have the same blowback effect as Noel's Spring Raid etc etc). Also, expanding on Ve's F suggestion: That would be the best course. Giving it more frame advantage. Something like +5, so that as soon as they recover they'd have to worry about being 360B'd the very next frame.
