Basically, you: get to play safer and retain good damage/carry require less meter to do combos midscreen because of Renka and the special-canceled throw get more meter not because of reduced cooldown on more expensive specials like Renka and Hotaru get better damage with some tools to make it worth using You have 12k health, hit like a Mack Truck and carry like a Boeing 787 anywhere on the screen from any confirmed hit, and stay relatively low risk and still get great reward for your moves. Also, HOTARU! :3

Hey, it's a new addition of the game. Always start things fresh, go over buffs and nerfs and see how that would affect the match-up from how it was previously. I figured that it wouldn't cancel on whiff. If it did, it would be MARVEL, BABY! Need to do some much more testing before Adonis gets back so I can be the best Relius player here. :3 Bang definitely benefits from the mindset that players might have from CS2. When I played Brian, I was all like "1.7k, whatevs" until I realized that he just did 3.5k and shit. He's definitely a big threat now. Litchi's all like "Corner? *carries for days* You're in it. Relius can cancel all of his normals and the doll's attacks into Relius Twirlies (a special one with a backdash). Not only will this keep him safe, it seems to free him up quicker during some of Ignis's attacks to do some other stuff. You have lots of cross-up/baiting opportunities with this as 2D will keep them locked down and pull them in for the ambiguous cross-up.

Why do you love Relius? How's that helped you strive to learn more about the character? What part of his game appeals to you most?

Can we talk about BlazBlue in a constructive manner without mindless whining or persecution? Seriously, where's the logic in all of this? Why don't I see more talk about improving character subforums or questions about new developments/findings in Extend? Also, no one is putting a gun to your head and forcing to play the character you are, so stop complaining. Change characters, get better with said character, or just fucking quit and put your time to better use. Let's get this damn show on the road already.

If you're talking about the very end, it's probably because he got thrown so it still only did its' base damage.

I didn't test that far as I didn't get to play long, will tomorrow. I do know that airdashing is better if you're the closest or around such you can be and still get hit by her D sword. However, it's better to Kishuu if you're any farther away as the recovery due to the whiff guarantees that you will at least be in her face if you don't get to connect with a hit. And I'm talking about being able to close a significant gap between Hakumen and Lambda in that time frame. EDIT: I will try to record some footage. EDIT2: I forgot to say that Kishuu is nice that far out as airdashing can get beat out by 6D.

Update: it's practical farther out where it is most useful. You can react to the D sword and go through it. Up close is where you normally won't have the time or need to use Kishuu against it. TL;DR: It's practical.
