Right, I tried doing the 2nd combo on the 1st page which both hits a crouching person and launches them with 6C. The opponent seems to end up being too far away though to follow up, unless they're near the corner already.

I have a question: On the Midscreen High Hit: How do you connect 214 A-C-A? I can't tell since I can't find any BnB combo videos on youtube. Also, what if I just replaced the 6C->214B-> j.A ->j.B with 5C->j.B? Would that really make that much of a difference?

Argh. Unleashing the Chaos II is....mediocre. They just took the intro chorus, put some messy percussion over it, then generic guitaring strums. A few random sounds. I guess it sounds chaotic in a totally bad way.

To be fair, the tier list is just his opinion, AND who's to say that they've completely figured out the characters yet? Look what happened with MvC2. Granted that was because of glitches everywhere, but still.

Shesh, I'm thick. I did it like 5 times, and it never occurred to me to try ten. I suppose it was because I was thinking in Fractions, not decimal at the time. (And I was tired, I swear!) Anyways, 5D, if it hits 5 times, gives 4.9%, as confirmed by the 10 time method. Let's hope there's no 100th place there. EDIT: To whoever changed the Offense section: The wiki is becoming Godlike now. Thank you!

Hm, editing doesn't register as a new post so~ I've done the SP gain for Yu's normals. When I was doing the persona moves, I realized that the SP gain is actually in fractions, and the game rounds (down, I assume?) There were a bit of oddities...for instance 5D usually gives about 5SP, unless you're at 0, so I assume the SP gain for a 5D with all three hits is something like 4.9% SP, but I'm not sure what the exact numbers are. The numbers I gave are what you get when starting fresh from zero; in the case of the persona attacks I also tried giving the fractions...should probably revisit the A and B normals.

My thought would to be to make sure that the combos are both practical, and format them somehow to have notes on general use somehow. For instance, the 5A meterless combo seems, as far as I can tell to have a range of one pixel, and even then it's hard to land. I spent a fair amount of time wondering why it wasn't connecting, trying to connect it, before I thought to back a step away and see that in most situations you'd never actually be able to land it unless you have a pixel perfect position, and great timing...unless there's a trick to severely mitigating pushback that I'm unaware of. Thus, that combo seems, at least, to be both confusing and something of a time waster. Or, that 5B combo. 5B > 214C is apparently only for when you hit with the very tip of 5B. Doesn't mention it on the wiki, nor, last time I checked, were there meterless or counterhitless alternatives listed. Most players should quickly realize that the combo is not optimal in most situations if your opponent is even slightly closer to you, so the combo is easily a strange, confusing entry unless you ask on the forums, like I did, or do a lot of experimenting to see that 214C is the only thing that connects after 5B at the very edge of it's range. So, that's my thought. Please tell me if I got any of that wrong. (I would love to find a way to get that 2B into that midscreen 5A combo!)

I'd hate to ask something so simple, but what do you mean by "safe jump." Just a jump that's safe because they're in hitstun? What's the difference between that and a normal jumping meaty?

Ah, okay. Perhaps we should put some kinda of note in such as 5B > (2B)* > (5C)* > 214D ()* = distance sensitive. Might not be too elegant, but it would be more clear, especially since the 5A combo is so sensitive to distance (Or maybe I'm just doing it wrong), so we can have some consistency? Or would it be better just to stick in a sweep combo and just have different combos for different distances?

I do have a question about a combo or two; 5A > 5C > 2B > 5B > 2A+B > 5D - (1399) Seems to be pretty unstable. Even if your right up against the opponent, they fall out of range for the sweep most of the time; I've only been able to get it off like 3 times so far. Leaving 5B off makes it much easier, though you loose a bit of damage. 5B > 214C - (903) What's the reasoning behind this? For instance, 5B > 5C > 214D seems to do a lot more damage, move your opponent back much father, ends in the same state as 5B > 214C, and isn't much harder to do. Is there something I'm missing here?

I have a question! Are the combos listed on the wikia for Yu up to date? I noticed that the video there is from around May, and isn't that around when Arc Sys did the balance patch for arcades? Heck, the video IS from the arcade version. So I'm wondering for which version they're for, and if for the current edition, if anyone has figured out better combos since then?

Got it around thanksgiving since it was only $17. I'm cheap. That said, despite being cheap I went ahead and got Persona 4 and Skullgirls for cheapish around Christmas. I need to stop doing that...that's bad. Hm, a tutor would be a cool idea.
