From what i've experienced so far, Kof is far more ignorant than Blazblue will ever be. Sure Blazblue has dumb shit about it but honestly if I get hit by something in Blazblue I can usually pick up immediately why I got hit by it. In Kof I feel as though everything I do or someone else does is questionable. It feels like the type of game that if i'm doing everything right, my opponent can still win even if they're just mashing their faces against the controller. I'm not smoking anything when I say this by the way...

I really want to still play KoF, but there's so much random bs that takes place in that game I feel like I get robbed out of a lot of my matches (Almost fucking Marvel-level bullshit). Too much shit that shouldn't work in that game does work, and that is what frustrates me. It's a shame too because I love the characters I play and I wanted to stick with them. Unless I could get some really high-level player who knows pretty much every single detail of the game down to the "T" and has played since forever to show me how to deal with certain things, I can't see myself ever playing it seriously again. I'm still going to re-purchase it since again, they have characters I love,it just won't become anything more than a casual fighter for me.

I don't know much tager but I definitely know some Tsubaki and once you get that PS3 i'll be continuing to learn her (You gave me a more legit excuse to learn her more than what I have already, thank you.) Grimstar meant absolutely no harm with that comment man (just poking fun at DL is all). @Grimstar: I've been managing an averave of 4k mid-screen with Noel so far and my corner combos have been stretching out to 7k easy. I haven't learned everything with her yet so i'm sure those numbers will rise soon. I fought this one Relius and he got 5.3k off a grab with 50 heat. I would say that I raged but it was so lawlz that I couldn't help but laugh.

BACKSTORIES, LET'S GO!! Even though mine isn't much, I would have to say that mine dropped me into the fighting game scene completely by accident. See, I spent most of my days just playing casually, never really paying to much attention to fighters in general. This was, until one day when Calamity Trigger was released. I spent about a good two months passing the game by again and again. One day I finally decided to take a look at the game and mistook it for a J-RPG game (I never read the game description). So I bought it liking the character designs and the cool looking art on the case. When I got home however, I was in for a big surprise with it being a fighter. I was displeased at first due to my SF4 experiences and I thought of it as a waste of money. I then played the game as very little as possible. That changed after browsing YouTube and happened to watch my first japanese BB match, and thus my interest was re-sparked. Thus, diving into the world of CT I picked up Ragna and Haku-Men at first, still playing the game very casually still. As I continued to play the game and watch japanese players, I came across R-1. Little did I know that he would deep-root my love for the game forever and introduce me to my main, Noel. Seeing him use her gave me a whole new respect and love for the game. So over time I took Noel more seriously (learning combos, set-ups, tricks, and even going to ranked matches and playing her online). I got a lot of positive feedback from players about the way I played her and I was pumped with a sense of pride. When CS1 first released I was hype but also longing for people who also played the game that I could get together and play with. However, as much research as I did I couldn't find anyone in Clarksville. So I played CS1 sadly, that was until I ran into a player named AlphaKami (Heh, we should all know who this is). He also played Noel and we had many intense matches against each other and thus became quick friends. also, as the last week of the month that we had become friends approached, he sent me a message telling me about a tournament that he was entering. I was shocked to learn that it was in Nashville and was even more surprised that it was possible for me to go. So, with that, I headed off to Nashville to take part in my first-ever fighting game tournament. Upon entering I felt the satisfaction of fighting other players and also the crushing pain of my first defeat by Astaroth. This fueled me even more and soon I was hooked on BB. Over time, I met Volpe and soon we began to have BB friendlies to prepare and became solid friends from there. This is a bit sentimental but meeting everyone (dispite how I feel at times) has honestly changed me and i'm thankful for the experience. My backstory comes to an end there, sorry if it was long or off-topic.

@Jackie: Yes, finally someone has heard of the godliness that is Last Alliance. Too bad you chose one of their more dull songs to showcase. I was hoping you'd link like See You Again or Spiral World. Even Mu (one of their songs) would have been better. So yeah, Extend had a mid-night release, too bad I only got to play it for about 10 to 15 minutes before passing out asleep. I woke up hoping to get some lab-work in. But then I remembered that school was in like 40 minutes. Much sadness ensued... @Grimstar: You can still do other decent BnBs which still do good damage but honestly if you have the execution to do the loop it's highly recommended you do so. The amount of heat gain I got from doing it is unreal (will you ever not be broken Hazama?), Really just depends on how you want to play.

I can't really see multiple games being said reason but idk, maybe. @Tad: Too bad you're not making it past Noel or me once Extend hits. Old wolves need to just move along and let the new generation sharpen their fangs. That's right, Extend will be here in a few hours, and a new pack of wolves are ready, hungry, and looking for prey. Too bad when you look at BB the problem isn't that it isn't growing (When in fact it still has pretty decent sized scenes and new people have been popping up in the U.S.). It's just that most of the people who play the game are either broke high-schoolers who can't travel or even-more-broke college students who are too busy to take time out. Once the players get time to grow up and settle into lives less hectic i'm sure numbers will increase. After all, BB is a hellava good game (In my opinion still the best fighter recently). So yeah, saying that "it isn't growing is a meh statement. And Papstr what Jackie said wasn't hostility, it was a just a comment on a generalised mind-set. Addition: I do understand where you're coming from in terms of competition because I feel the same way. I do enjoy BB and I wishthere were more people who actually played it and really knew the game. Alas, i'm not going to find that anytime but that doesn't mean it should be dropped. Just means I need to stay faithful to my game and pray for bigger turnouts.

Don't worry about it. I was just calling to say that he threw some punches at me I threw some back, yada yada. Luckily I dropped him and the knife he was holding, after we traded a few blows he calmed down, I went upstairs, and the police took care of the rest after some time. Long story short, things were interesting. He's headed to the slammer now.
