I'm stuck in a three-way tie between Noel's Blue, her yellow, and her white and gold colors. I'm leaning more towards her blue colors though, so i'd probably end up using that.

I feel bad for ya Woz. All of Litchi's colors look pretty mediocre this game. But then again, I still say Noel has the best colors hands-down in CP.

Nobody is touching my Ichigo colors. Also, i'm claiming Izayoi's purple and white and gold colors. Too swag, too hip, too cool, too fly!

Carl has been reported to have 5k+ BnBs and so does Tao apparently. I'm really liking where they're trying to take Noel honestly. She has oki now, her neutral game suffered a bit now that optic barrel doesn't knock down on hit, but I still think that the new 2D more than makes up for that. In my opinion, I think it'll turn out to be better than optic barrel in terms of strengthening her neutral game. The damage is just icing on the cake for me. I dug the amount of damage she did before the discovery but i'm fine with this as well. @Naimat: Noel's never really been a hard character to re-learn for me throughout all of her iterations. At most the thing that always changes is her combos, but i've never had a problem adjusting. This version may be different since now with the new tools we will have to evaluate situations we normally couldn't afford to worry about. For instance, who we could play air-to-air with, or who outpoked us, etc... I say all this to say, you are pretty much right in it's just going to come down to who I have more fun with. I like the idea of keeping Noel as a pocket character for casuals and whatnot, but I also like the idea of playing someone new to help MTN get a grasp of a match-up that seems like it's going to need to be explored deeply. I'll just wait for the game to hit and let the chips fall where they may. @Volpe: Good to see that drive back son. I really want to put a lot of effort into learning CP now and i'll defnintely help you learn Makoto's match-ups as best possible. This is probably asking for too much but i'd love to see an overall more competitive MTN, especially when it comes to BB. I'm tired of always seeing Naimat, Jackie, Astaroth, or me making top three or taking a tournament. Especially since I know we have capable players who can place high. That's one reason our Gear tournaments aren't as hype for me. While it is nice to see the high-level play in grand finals, it's just a turn-off to always know that it's just going to be Phil or Tad taking it. The same goes for the East Coast (yeah SKD and LK, i'm calling you niggas out). I won't press the issue too much, but it is something that always lingered in the back of my mind even during my days with Persona.

Problem being is that I don't know who to main now (as if the choice isn't obvious enough at this point). Yeah, I could main both, but I really want to learn the game with just one character before I start learning multiple others. Complications man, complications...

That BBCP stream I watched last night had some Izayoi footage in it. I have to say, i'm so hyped for her now. She has Yuzuriha's Aia strikes and her teleports, not to mention she's got Morrigan's and I-No's fligt movements. She's everything I expected her to be and more. Guess i'll really just be focussing on learning CP after all. TIME TO BECOME TRUE IZAYOI-BASED GOD!!

Writing's really one of the only true things that still makes living bareable for me. I'm still diving into the world of Melty Blood and i'm finding that to be a hella lot of fun. Really the only thing that's even worth playing until CP and Under-Night come out.

@Naimat- I thought OD stayed active longer depending on how much health you had before entering the mode. Also, I don't necesarily see OD as a bad thing, just a route I didn't expect BB to take. However, I suppose that making OD was Aksys' way of making it still possible to get damage and cool combos, but just in a way that's more visually appealing and costs the characters something for using them. I'd have no problem with them if bursts weren't rechargeable but I suppose going into another round with no bursts and the chance for your opponent to fish for that big hit confirm does add a more profound sense of intensity in a match. All in all, the game will evolve, just as all games do. Plus there's always the chance for a balance patch if things get too hectic so I'll take the bitter medicine for now and just wait to see how things advance in the long run. P.S. That's pretty much what I see happening as well. Can't say that 6C>fatal is pretty practical but when I subbed her, I never really had to fish for them so idk. Also, Habakiri loops killed any love i had for her character. While she was overall just...Mu, there were a lot of things I thought I was going to find enjoyable about her character design (setting up character-specific steins or having to do roll, jump, or late-tech setups, etc...) Alas, that isn't the case with this one. Wasted sprites be wasted, Aksystem. Woz, can you make me an Izayoi avatar? Pretty pwease?

I totally agree with you dude. however, my problem isn't the combos but the OD in itself. I understand wanting to give characters a come-back factor (even though most characters don't need it in this version if you ask me) but when you pretty much say, get a hitconfirm, go OD and then do ridiculous amounts of damage with a little bit of meter and they can't burst it, I don't know, that's just not the BB I know. In fact, that's FRIGGIN PERSONA!! I'll just have to adapt to the changing times I guess, still won't change my hype for Izayoi though. I haven't seen a character that made me want to learn BB this badly in a while.

I can't see it Chandler. Got a small box with an X mark blocking it. What is it? Edit: Going to go out on a limb here and say it has something to do with that Mu-12 OD combo pic. I saw it in the general discussion and i was like "yeaahhh....bull shit." I don't see what the complaint is though, everyone has been hitting big numbers off of OD. We'll have to see off of what starter to determine how stupid it is.
