Lokin good corners. If you know the opponent is gonna AirDash at ya. Meet him air-to-air with allegretto or vivace to escape. We both know 6A & 5C would have lost against Jin's constant IAD J.B's. The first step is not using those as AA. Nice work.

If haku get's you with a counter super. You have time and visual to RC. But tension doesn't get spent and you are still screwed. Have not tried super canceling tho. =/

When completing a win with a super flash Nirvana will not deactivate or quite walking. I should mention the "Buffered Nirvana glitch". Super flashes cause Nirvana to stay activated until "D" is negative edged twice.

Also: I'd like to do something about some threads. Online- discussion Study group Player directory I concede to the point that all serve a (although very similar) different purposes. Before I just make up my mind and be a monster about it, what do everyone here think? Could the directory be an updated post to the on-line play? Is the study-group effective and serving it's point? Should I axe the on-lien play discussion and just keep the directory/study group? Questions, comments?

Carl on ground: opponent burst- HAS 50% heat, best solution is to DD cancel. Carl in air: opponent burst- best solution is to jump cancel your normal (J.A & J,B) & IB to punish. If the current move does not jump cancel on hit/block, RC, IB, 22]D[, 2C, 236A, 2C, 8]D[... Carl on ground: opponent burst- Does not have 50% heat, best solution is to jump cancel your normal and IB to punish. If the current move does not jump cancel on hit/block, A-vivace through. Or you could be extra sneeky and jump cancel for recovery & gold burst their burst into a nirvana Death combo. So many options. Mmmmmmmmmm Something else I've noticed for lol's. Throw loops off gold burst guard crushes are amazing! B/C Carl's tensionless throw-loop nets him at least 50% heat. We know the opponent will not tech b/c they live as the combo started from a gold burst. end with a corner gear super & force them to wake-up in it, follow with a DrillArm and finish with an allegreto. Guard Damage!!!!!!!!!

Kyle combo's opponent, opponent burst, kyle proceeds to cancel to Cantible... *facepalm* Kyle combo's opponent in corner, 2A, 2B, 3C, *Oh shit nows my chance*, 632146*Cantible. *facepalm* FYI to everyone. A-vivace will whiff burst when timed properly. So, if you don't have heat and they burst you know what to do,.

3C proration is fine IMO. If they REALLY wanted to nerf Carl they would not allow 3C to jump cancel. =/ Ewewwww that would be terrible. THX ZONG_one

So, I got Up, Down, Left, Right, X, & Y working last night. Still gotta ground A & B. I ran out of "females" and had to call it quites. I need a Faa~~~~~vor from a 360 player. Would somebody (within 7 hours from now) plug a 360 controller into a PC. Download the drivers for compatibility. Start > Control Panel > Game Controllers :Your controller should display here now:> Properties > This is the input test I use for checking connections/commons/traces all that Jazz. Now press: RB :Right Bumper:- Tell me what # turns red please. RT : Right Trigger: Tell me what # turns red please. I would REALLY REALLY REALLY appreciate it.

With a slight altering of timing it would be UB. Here's an idea tho. Rather than breaking the opponents guard with 2]D[ and Carl's low. Use 3]D[ & Carls overhead. This will keep your opponent standing and open for back to back resets. =) Or you could go into Raise the roof loops & use 3C for the KD/Oki.

My point was- With a good enough DEFENSE. You can beat Rachel. It's like Eddie & ABA in GG. You will guard, A lot. By outplaying your opponent and knowing Rachel's options. You can have a high enough defense to prevail. This match is No where near as bad as Tager vs Nu & Rachel.

J.2C, Alle~can is still a Throw bait/low crush. It still has it's uses. It will feel more like SFIV Cammy now. =/ A suggestion I could make: If J.2C is no longer an overhead would Aksys consider giving Alle~can a larger Y-axis value?

Mikachiru had somethign very important to say: Look at the Rachel forums everyone. To beat Rachel, Carl HAS to outplay her. PERIOD. Therefore, You should know Rachel's options and know how to guard them. If you find yourself saying: Wait.. that special cancels? WTH- That jumps on block. That's an Overhead?!?! You've lost already.
