  4. Messages like these should be via PM. SolBadass : AxisTheBeast Is the strongest Tager I've sparred with on X-box Live. I legitimately feel guilty doing throw loops om him... but know I can't win without it.
  5. Controlling Nirvana: Nee-san activates when you press and hold D. [D] Nee-san deactivates when you release D ]D[ and her attack has finished. Everytime you tap D with a direction to do an attack (6D for example), it is actually activating her, commanding her to do an attack, then deactivating her. In order to make Nirvana do attacks in succession, you can [D] before her attack ends and she deactivates. This will keep her activate and vulnerable but you will not spend time (16F) activating her again for her next attack. This is crucial for using Carl as most of his combos require this to work and it makes your pressure strings much more effective. Note: You MUST learn how to control Nirvana without letting her deactivate for all of these combos to work. There's no set time as to when to [D], its all personal preference as long as you do it before Nirvana deactivates. Practice makes perfect
  6. I finished another spring cleaning session of everyones general discussion. You guys keep me busy. To state-the-obviously because some people obviously don't get it. If it's Actually Carl Gameplay related, it stays. Now, go download //PIGG// video from x-boxlive and get back at how awesome that combo was. I really really need to upload vids guys.   8. Had a nifty idea guys. I believe this is an EASIER pick-up off of 4]D[ & 236236D. As of now the best follow-up is late, J.2C, Alle~can, 2C, 8]D[, Airthrow. VERY TOUGH Now, I'm sure everyone has been doing raise the roof loops and had the enemy fall too far behind them where they actually get pop'd up backwards. Let's do this instead. so after the final blow 236236D. We use Vivace to cross sides, as the opponent is coming back at us do a late 2C and see if it knocks them in the other direction: right in front of Nirvana. All theory... confirmation later.
  9. I've revived this fight guys. When you play Tager, "Don't throw loop him!". This fight is soooooo much more fun this way. Seriously, give it a try people.
  10. BJ's first post hit's it on the head. Great Offline game. We got cheated with the on-line netcode being shit & no on-line co-op Campaign mode available from release. Patch releasing in Dec. to enable on-lien co-op Campaigne & update hitboxes to be more accurate to the JP version. [NOT OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED BY NAMCO] No response on revision of netcode. It's bad guys... The game loses frame rate & prefers slow-down. No input buffering exist. You can mash your inputs & they will come out.

  14. I find bang overall tough to fight. I still lose to mediocre Bangs. I've met a few who are ass's as well. So-much-hate-mail.
  15. DesuEX beats me worse than anyone I've ever played. I hit him once, he burst. I don't hit him twice. Very strong V-13-.
  16. How's T6 guys? Many bugs, errors..patches needed? Should I wait a week or two to get this or is it "Go Time" now?
  17. JackG- CH JB+C me out of 236236D. Weird hit-effects. I'm pretty sure it did damage to Nirvana as well. I saved the match. Will upload for reference before to long.
  18. How's everyone coming along with Carl in BB:CT? Is anyone else getting more familiar with match-ups? I'm always learning, I do have loads of match-up info rack'n in my brain. After a few more weeks of on-line play I will begin writing match-up FAQ's. Any and all help is appreciated.
  19. every time Tager throws 5C or 5D, you can IB and "punish" with 2A into a big combo. After a while he will start throw trapping you. Set him up the same way and "punish" with J.A into big combo. You can not reversal back dash You can not reversal Vivace You should not reversal Gear If you attempt to "guard it out"- Your guard will be crushed The only success I've found is the IB mix-ups. Even this isn't 100% guaranteed: but it's a high stakes game for both players when Tager has the offense. We all know it's basically free when Carl has the offense.

  21. Your having the same thought as all of us. I'm positive there will be other options, but it appears high damage was not a quality they decided to give the little guy... as of yet. Although, I did notice that overall everyone else got a damage reduction too. I'm curious to see his new arch-type. Gawd I hope it's not zoning.

  23. A red exclamation mark means your opponent crouched an overhead. hence, J.A is a descent mix-up which ties it back to CS changes. Post is relevant. =P
  24. Descending J.A is an alright mix-up for tall characters. I got a kill against a Haku last night: As they rise from oki, J.A, J.A, Red exclamation mark kills!
