It's 1-frame start-up and restores all jump options. There is no way to punish it from a throw break as you are forced to Re-buffer Nirvana, by that time he's recovered. Only thing worth working on is KD combos or tech chasing in the air.

I found that safe opener. Backdash, once you pass Nirvana activate her and walk toward. If Jin did IceCar, Nirvana tanks hit and you get CH 5C combo. If Jin Airdashes you get CH 6A, 8D combo. This is also effective against Ragna.

I find ter DP easy to punish for good damage & her airdash string of J.B, J.C, 5B. If Carl is in the air, you can IB her J.C, giving you enough recovery to get a CH J.A as you land while Litchi was trying her autopilot pressure. The only follow-up to this is 2B, as 5A & 2A don't have adequate range.

About the same here, treat her like May and IB as much shit as you can. You will create enough holes to get CH J.A, 2B, 3C, Summon combos. Learn that dumbass ClapTrap and getting damage is too easy. Just gotta break that guard w/o getting CH.

While Tager is 5A "spamming" you get: CH 5C, 623C, 8]D[, 236A, 2C, 236A, 2C, 8]D[, ClapTrap. While magnatized I like to be risky, random 3C's & Allegreto's can easily be turned into death combos. lol Of course, always show respect to SparkBolt. 632146C isn't that great in this fight, as Tager can 720 buster through it, sledge through & spark bolt through. This fight is too much bullshit. Sorry Tager. The game needs fixed. You are getting screwed.

I've been practicing stick the past few weeks, & shown significant progress. I still need to upgrade my stick to be 360 compatible. Once that happens I will be doing LOADS of on-line play. I feel like the Carl treads are on a hold-up, as everything is in order except the Match-ups. & I"m positive I'm not ready to do match-ups anytime soon. I like to have much more experience with the characters before I go into that much detail. Has anyone else tried playing Carl without throw loops? This stuff is too fun. He has incredible potential for tech traps and badass combos.

Your initial 6]D[ has to be timed properly for the proceeding one to come out. Carl is compensation for Nirvana's recovery. Play with the first one and you will find the loop. Also, re-buffer Nirvana.

I gave this about 20 mins. A few things to note: -Final input has to be 7, 8 or 9. -I found the shortest input to be:63214789637C: -Game also accepts input of 63214789637D+C -I presume the standing "720" input is: 6321478963[D]7C - I can roll the first part consistently. 6~3[D], But from there you've only got 3? frames to kara-Cancel into 7C. I have yet to do it. Although, while missing the input I end up doing a kara-collider. which... isn't all bad... could be worse. May be better than taunt as there is awesome recover and some kinda offense. I'm really trying to find the rules that makes this input work... I've only got 1 far'fetched hypothesis. The game will register 360's in both direction. So something like 632147896, 6987412369C will actually be a "720". This engine could be buffering the majority of the second circles inputs. the game registers something like: 632147896, 36987C. while you actually input: 63214789637C Just a theory...

With this few hits Fermata knocksdown. A single backdash will leave opponent between you and nirvana. From here I use 3]D[ to catch back rolls while I bait some kind of neutral/forward tech. If i get the chance to punish nirvana has recovered and walked over to join the rape party. Thanks for the support 4corners. =)
