To mention: jp's discovered a corner loop with our dynamic duo. =) yayz. Typically, Carl's sprite prevents Ne~san's 6D from hitting the opponent from this set-up. /Corner_Opponent_Carl_Nirvana------------ Presumably, people have tried Iad strings only to see them not actually combo'n. Now Carl is canceling to 236A at the end of his string, this allows Ne~san's punch to connect because Carl is invincible and doesn't interact with Robo-awesome. A, B, C~]6D[~236A, I'll link the vid later... H-man can cancel his dash with an aerial special move, making akward trajectory and overheads. Because Carl hops too, I tried allegreto during a dash thinking it COULD potentially stop his dash with Awesome recovery. This would make it useful. To no avail tho. It does not work with Carl. 66, 214C does nothing.

Elaborate ambitions... I started a watercolor for this. (It sucked, and I didn't give it another go) We also discussed elaborate character intro's (I opted not, in an effort to emphasize May players as a whole and not individuals =P), Reload combos be included, Another contributor who did the original beta didn't have any appearance in the Final Version too (Hsien-Jo). yeah, the list of failures lol.

I recorded everything, & did my best to orient colors towards players. Combo's were suggested & dissected by different May players. Many contributions... I tried to give credit to the whole rather than call out individuals. Anyways, people who are curious about which person did what part/combo/color... the info is around, you just have to look for it. =P I'm glad you guys like it. =)

So: IAD, (J.A, J.A, J.2C)xN -Everything done early to maintain momentum & hit stun. K, sounds good. =) I wish 6A had more invulnerability, Carl's reliable A.A. combo would be 6A~22D, 236A, 2C, Raise the Roof!

That my friend is 6A. It is an Anti-Air with Upper body invulnerability. (I think) The issue is the range. It's soooo small that you usually trade instead of win in that situation, making it unreliable and (to some) unusable. Can someone confirm input for this @1:43? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojRQGUqkco8&feature=channel_page I tried it last week... to no avail. I couldn't keep my momentum. Yes I tried allegrato cancaling as well... did not work. =? ???

Dogy, your gettin better bro. =) So, against Sol there is 1 thing to keep in mind. Let him come to you, and punish him for this. Sol has to close the gap, his abarea sucks and his mix-up range is pathetic. In the first video look at 2:25-2:33. This was perfect, this is exactly how you should fight sol. You stayed outside of Sol's 5D, VV, & Wildthrow range. you've taken the good aspects of his game away and made him a shitty opponent. Sol runs at you, you K, F5S, him Sol does riot stomp, you 6P him (you did once, Great Job =)) Sol air dashes, you 6hs/5hs/air throw/SVD Overall there is one thing I feel you should work on. You are using most of Mays best tools (Options). But, it appears to me that you are using them offensively. May excels best when those tools are used Defensively. you are using HSVD, J.2HS, J.HS as poking tools. HSVD, J.2HS, J.HS, 5HS are best used as counter-poke tools. hence, you could try being overall more defensive, patience and reactive. think of it this way. If your opponent isn't very selective of their pokes & approach, they are just killing themselves. I hope this helps. and of course, please play May however you have fun. Because this is about having fun with GG. =)

The May Forums has finally finished our group project. Overall this does not contain the elaborate ideas of our ambitions. I however, am glad to see it finished. For the song I choose a Silverchair Medley for three reason. A) My favorite Silverchair song B) Timeline was perfect c) It wasn't as diverse as "TheMarsVolta" =P There was an abundance of contribution from many great May Players. I would like to Thank: Frank The Tank, Aluna, Ryock, NamelessCounter, Blargster, Nhur, Chuchulachu, Dogysamich, MayFTW, & of course Hsien_Jo for getting this started. This wasn't about showcasing optimization, or set-ups. This was a group effort to put our individual stuff out. If Ne-san is across the screen Carl can go into J.B, 214C, 8D, V, Dash, 2C, Raise the Roof. Once you input Con Anime, should try to do 236B, 236B. This will put you across the screen and Ne-san in a position to do the combo I just mentioned. Disclamier: I've played Carl once. Gotta travel 6 hours to play BB. Thanks heavenscent! Although that's a little dissapointing. I do enjoy character specific BnB's... We still have Tager/H-Man combo with [iAD, (J.A, J.A, J.2C)x N] Could you try option selecting your tech traps for me. I wanna hear about this set-up: Finish a raise the roof combo with Carl 3C (KD). Carl waits there to punish forward tech & ne-san does Con Anima to catch back&neutral tech. Point being, I'm positive Carl has Con Anima set-ups that haven't been abused yet.

Carl should try doing 8D ground loops on Tager/H-man...rather than 6D ground loops. I'm sure it would be more damage... needs confirmation tho... Does 6B gatlin to 3C?

Update for anyone trying to do Zerker, Archer,Lancer, Rin? combos- FastFall is in this game. Think of Melee and you'll get it. Only difference is you have to HOLD the direction.
