  2. Lots of dropped combos, lots of unsafe stuff, lots of random mashing, lots of non optimized combos. Seems like you just started I'd advise you to work on getting used to BB footsies and then focus on trying to complete the challenges. Post a new video once you get a better grasp of BB footsies and a few combos. Also first round I was like WTF? Makoto has a DP, and you should have been teching those throws at the very least. And you realllyyyyyyyy need to play better players. That jin was super scrubby.
  3. Are you gonna switch to another character in CS2 now that Litchi's no more broken?
  4. Your city is fucken windy. Here I was hoping to go to a NYC meet-up, and weather fucks it up.
  5. Man. The Mu vs Litchi match in the NSB semi finals was one of the most intense matches I've ever seen.
  6. Well if they're fangirls, they're worth more than pot money.lulz Double entendre up in this post. Edit: On a more on topic note, that NSB quarter final lambda was teh shit. Nigga was legit as fuck. Never seen such a focused A-11. Is that goro back to maining her?
  7. Lol nigga didn't wanna split the pot money. Fucken scrooge xD Seriously he makes Hazama look so broken it's ridiculous.
  8. OH MY GOD. I can't believe Buppa single handedly OCVd every single team. His partners didn't even get to play xD. I'd be salty bout that, even though I still get my tournament money. Hazama's looking mighty top tier to me. Practical 5k combos when he has meter, 8K off 6c counterhit, 4K off anti air 2C, that's fucken great in CS2. I really wanna see him go vs Tsujikawa's Makoto.
  9. Just wanted to say that I have to disagree about SF4 execution> BB execution. But it depends. It's a different kind of execution. BB is more about dexterity with some really timing specific combos, while SF4 is more about memorizing the timing for links with a few characters which require very high dexterity to play as(cammy/viper). In the end, the harder one depends on whether you have a better timing memory or nimbler fingers.

  10. Nagoya Street Battle 18 BBCS2 12/25 http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/11645737 http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/11647633 http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/11648201
  11. Ah no sorry not the tournament from the stream. The 12/25 chariot tournament which jourdal uploaded.
  12. So, who won the tourney?
  13. Now that we've all agreed that Makoto was a really strong character in CS1 and is not broken in CS2 but really good, back to video discussion. Noel combo vid was pretty hot. 5K from a reversal button meterless is pretty awesome. New combos involving J4D are pretty sexy. Can't wait to stunt on niggas using CS2 noel.
  14. Nah I ain't angry. Just felt bored on the greyhound and decided a bit of trolling would be appropriate.

  15. Revised opinion now that I can actually play the game. Even matchup at worst, in our favor at best. Ragna needs 3 good openings to finish you. You only need 2. And you have better tools to obtain those. Ragna's pretty straightforward once you figure out all his tricks. The only thing that makes this matchup even for Ragna is his I.D. You can't pressure him like you can pressure other characters. Respect dat I.D. He can I.D. anything you throw after 5CC. 214A~B however will only get him one hit of the I.D, so he can't follow up. My hardest times against him were the I.D happy Ragnas, cause I don't respect that shit. Learn when he can throw his overhead and be ready to react to that shit. In a lot of circumstances, you can DP out of the overhead into combo if you're expecting it. I don't like 6A in this matchup, Ragnas like crossing up and it's recovery is so bad that they can cross up, land and start a combo with 5b>4k. J.2C still a godsend. J.B is a good anti air vs Ragz too.
  16. OMG that shit works so well!! It makes a huge difference too. Timing on 2D is a bit stiff but i'm getting it more often than not now. Thanks a lot bro.
  17. What Hiago said, and really work on your hit confirm. Also be aware of your surroundings. At 0:36, you were almost in the corner, and you could have a done a better combo leading into corner oki which would at the very least cost him a burst. You dropped a lot of combo opportunities such as 0:23, and 0:50 and 53. 0:50 and 53 especially were really good openings. Opponent in the corner, non A starter = big damage + oki or HUGE damage. If you had confirmed all those opportunities, you would have SURELY won the first round. I'm not really sure what you tried to do at 0:53. Why the 6C? Same thing in the second round. A lot of dropped combo opportunities, no hit confirms, no combos at all. Also, at 2:21 when he was doing his fireball, you should have BBS. BBS any dumb full screen move your opponent is doing. They'll learn that doing dumb random shit against Makoto is not smart. Also, learn to grab/tick throw. You didn't try a single grab in the whole match except when you missed your 214A~C-mash combo. I think you just need to get more familiar with Makoto. Learn combos, learn her mixups, learn to do different block strings. Also, XX>Asteroid Vision> B J.2C> Hit confirm into 5C on CH, 2a on normal hit, jump cancel on block is a pretty damn safe option against a lot of characters. For the Tsubaki matchup particularly, punish her aerial dive and her midscreen dash attack (236X) with 3C for big damage. All of Makoto's jump ins lose to her 2C except J.2C, so be carefully about jumping in on her. Her pokes outrange you, so remember that. Also, don't respect her DP. It trades all day with everything and can even get stuffed sometimes.
  18. I'm wondering whether the new optic barrel makes pretty much all of her moves and drives safe on block since it comes out so fast. Also that J.4D is damn fast. I mean really? People is gonna fear Noel's pressure/mixup.
  19. Is that supposed to be a rare candy to help him level up?
  20. This thread is fucken hilarious.
  21. Yeah, I can't really handle pressure well coming from SF4 where I always had good DPs and all you had to do was hold down back, mash jab and watch out for crossups and throws. I need to learn to block. And I have a somehow hard time hit confirming J.B CH into 66236A~D(3)/2C>big damage. Also I can't tech airthrows. At all. Is there anyway to improve one's reaction time?
  22. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jg2TErfLWk0 Hoping for some critiques and good advice. Thanks guys. Sorry in advance for "commentary" it was not intentional. Never knew the iphone recorded sound(just got it...)
  23. We're bros now. Also, get@me GreyFox if you need a confidence boost(and have a good connection with Canada). I'm free to Litchis.
  24. Lol that meter gain is ridiculous. He went from 8% to 66% with a single combo. Seems like new Hazama is heavily dependent on meter for damage, but gets it extremely fast. I wonder how much damage can be gotten off a Jayoku fatal.
  25. 3C punishes Assault Through(D.214D) for big damage, if that's what you were talking about. On another note, this matchup is ass. J.2C beats pretty much all her drives and clashes with 4D midscreen. In the corner it beats EVERYTHING Noel has, so you can abuse it to start your corner combos safely. Other than that, 4D pretty much beats everything you try to throw out except for grabs, 2D beats grabs/lows and crosses you up when you blocking low, and reaction 5D beats all your moves except for J.2C. Her drive is really safe and hard to punish too. She can 4D or D.214D through comet cannon to avoid being punished from full screen. BBS hits though.
