  4. Same here. Tager, Hazama, Ragna, Haku are the top 4 list of what I face online most of the time. Only encountered one Litchi. Guess her damaging combos are harder to do huh? Good thing most of these mofos be getting nerfed.

  6. People probably don't know about it. Ever seen a Noel vs Tao in a tournament? Didn't think so. Only thing i can think of is 6C spam and hope she gets hit by a random bullet.

  14. First mistake right there:( Well, i'm no expert but you could improve your BnB dramatically. 2B>6A(C for noel) = projectile happened to me a lot after air throw and noel's command grab. You have to let your joystick go back to neutral between 2B and 6X. If not, it will register a 236 motion instead of a 2>6 motion which you need. Anyways, you could make your BnB more efficient by adding in 66236A-D> 44> 5B>6A>JC>JB>JC>JB>623CD after your J.D. After that you can learn lightning arrow combos which take a longer time to master to improve your BnB. As for AA option, J.B and her dp and parry work pretty well imo. Parry especially so when they're just above you and you know they're gonna try hitting you.

  16. Um is there a new mechanic called wall binding? I don't really understand cause bloom trigger already wall bounces which is why we can do Fenrir after that in the corner. If there is a new mechanic called wall binding which binds you to the wall and allows you to continue the combo, this is a HUGE buff for noel. For the Makoto part, does that mean that she now has a FULL screen projectile that FATALs and leads into some big ass combos? HELL YEAH !

  18. Hard matchup. I recently played 60 games vs a really good Ragna. His 5B eats your pokes except 3C for free and can anti air when well spaced. His 5a stuff your jumpins on reaction and he can follow up with 5D>Ragna bullshit. It doesn't help that he totally outranges you and that Makoto has to basically be at point blank range to do some damage. His JC beats your JC but loses to J.B when you're at a lower angle. J2C is a god send in this match, beats all his anti air options except ID, which it sometimes clashes with. 3C is not recommended here randomly(when is it ever:v:?), as you're gonna get 2C Fatal'ed into 4k+ combo. It's ok to use it when he's in the air though as it beats JC and JB but loses to his JD. Plus, the crossdown is smexxy:keke: He can DP out of J.D > 6B> 236A so start baiting that if he becomes wise to it. Run when he is in blood kain. Seriously. You can't hit him out of his JDs or 6Ds no matter what you try. DP and Parry work though. Last but not least, learn to block, DP, and parry out of his pressure. This is the most important. *Needs to learn how to block, DP, and parry out of ragna pressure. Shit is insane:v: Also don't get thrown unless you have a burst or he has less than 50% meter or that B.K combo is gonna rape you real bad.
  19. 6B>C whiffs a lot on her in combos. 236A>5CC>6BC does not work on her in corner. Cost me a few wins >.> Edit: Yeah, i'm doing that against Rachel now;)
  20. I like playing girl characters. I like guns. I like rush down characters(Viper and Cammy main in SF and SSF4). I like big damage. I like flashyness and style all over the place. Noel was all that in CT and more. She's basically the reason I got into BB. Plus, she looks really cool when she takes off her beret. Now, i'm liking her squirrel friend more though cause she's more flashy, she's more rushdown and mixup, and she's way bigger damage. She doesn't have guns though, but tonfas are almost as cool as guns.
  21. Bolded part is true for both characters IMO. I hate vs Hazama. Mak's 3C goes under Hazama's 5D chain but if the Hazama does the follow up and goes airborne, he gets a free combo because 3C hits low and Hazama's in the air. 5D follow up also goes over makoto's fireball so if she decides to shoot it, Hazama gets another free combo. If she doesn't shoot it, Hazama takes like 300 damage or something at worst or still goes over it if his spacing was good. Don't do random chains when she has 50 meter, cause that's just asking to be BBS'd. Mizuchi Rekkazan DD punishes her fireball from full screen, so don't hesitate to use that if you see it coming. It has slow startup and recovery, so it's fairly easy to punish. Try not to be in the corner because if she gets a combo going there, it's gonna end in 236A reset and you'll have to guess between overhead, low, or throw, which ends again in 236A and well, you know the drill. Also, 214D-B against her asteroid vision is not a good idea, as she can barrier block during asteroid vision and has a small window to punish that DP. When pressuring her, 214D-A(overhead) can be jabbed out of just so you know so don't abuse it as it can cause you to lose momentum. Try keeping away as much as you can when you have no meter as she has some good mixups with 214A Asteroid Vision. Abuse your J.Ds but be careful of her parry though. If you fly at her, you will eat some damage and set yourself up for some makoto pressure. I'd say it's 5.5-4.5 for Hazama though. It's hard to get in, he zones her hard but she can parry and 214C barrier guard fortunately, he gets out easily with Jayoku and hops over our fireball and 3C with 5D followup. However, he gets raped in the corner and up close when he has no meter and can't zone her when she has 50 meter, so she has an easier time getting in to do those huge ass damage combos.
  22. Nonono, i wasn't trying to dash in with a straight 236A. The point is, when your opponent is nearly in the corner, you can do 2D>66236AD>214C-D>214B-D. When far away from the corner, you can add another 66236AD before the 214B-D, which is why I was dashing to get them away from the corner so i could do that. Turns out that the second lightning arrow doesn't connect either way after the 5CC>6B-C>RC>662C>2D>66236AD>214CD>66236A. The opponent can tech at this point so yeah you're right, it's kinda pointless to do a dash before the 2C unless you want to corner them or smth.
  23. I know that the dash isn't necessary but I wanted to go for the comet cannon>lightning arrow loops which i can't get in the corner, which is why i dashed. I can get it consistenly but my timing online is a bit off. And yeah,2D>236A consistency is a major issue here.

Also, i just learned about 214C barrier block so i'm gonna start approaching with this now. Any critiques would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
