We'd be able to do stuff like 5A/2A>5B>5C>236A>6C>.........>Bloom Trigger Although with the bigger 6C hitbox, we can probably pull out 5A>5B>2B>6A>6C>...............>Bloom Trigger Also, is it D.6B(Overhead) or D.5B(high kick) which causes wall bounce? The latter sounds more logical as it actually pushes them back pretty far. If it's the latter, we might be able to do some fancy midscreen combos. Like 3C>22C>6C>214A>6C>J.D>D.6D>D.6B>D.5B(wallbounce)> Dash> 6C>5D>D.5C>Bloom Trigger or wallbounce>Dash> 5C> SJ> 5C~B>JC>5C~B>Revolver Blast:8/: GET HYPE for CS2
  7. Yo, you choose how to play him. Stop complaining when you get buffs. You don't wanna guard break, then don't. I mean WTF? Now that Tager's really scary up close with a 4 primer break string if he has 50 meter, you guys are complaining? And guard break 720 is the ultimate troll to me after guard break astral.
  8. It's a shame we didn't record our matches Brice, you were really on point, anticipating my late techs and stuff. Seriously online and offline, you're so different. I feel like those vids don't do you justice at ALL. Okay, HERE WE GOOOOOOO. Moving on, you were pretty free to Poch in the first game, don't know if it's the matchup or online's the cause. 3rd vid: What was up with that lame punish on blocked J.2C at 0:31 of the 3rd vid? Just 360 dat ass. Good shit from 0:43 > 0:53, that's some good patience, and it pays off. Well kinda, you whiffed the 360 >.>. The air grab reset at 1:03 was SEXY as FUCK though. Still, you need to get better at punishing those blocked J2Cs. You did the same lame punish at 1:18. You pretty much lost this match cause you got impatient. You had a huge life lead at 1:04, you could have just sat on your lead, waited for Spark Bolt, made him scared of doing random shit, and got in calmly/timed him out. Instead, you sledged your way to death and got hit by her 236236 distortion not once but twice in the round because you were throwing out random shit and getting punished for it. Dropped combo at 3:16 probably cost you GF oki and the match. 3:23 you get hit by another 236236D while you're sledging. That shit killed you in the first round and you're still doing it? 3:43 you get Spark Bolt and you see him walking back. This is a perfectly good opportunity to close some distance by walking and blocking. But you decide to randomly throw the spark when he's obviously blocking and then proceed to random sledge. You're not patient enough, and too sledge happy. I'm pretty sure lambda can punish sledge on reaction with cavalier, so that's not really something you should be abusing as often as you did. TL,DR, be more patient, don't abuse random, highly unsafe moves.

Sorry, but if he beat you by randomly mashing then you're pretty much not good and need to learn the game/practice more, to know when you can attack, what move is safe, what move can punish what, etc. Just work on your matchup knowledge/blockstring knowledge/punish options. Online is great for this.
  10. Meh hazama is not that bad. Rachel can apply some good pressure though, I find it harder to get out of her corner pressure unscathed than to get in on her unscathed, though that's probably cause I don't know what gatlings into what and i try to block everything on reaction. Just remember : don't airdash, abuse barrier asteroid, don't go for the C follow up after 6B in combos as it whiffs a lot, and as said before, don't get impatient.
  11. 4D does beat roll and a lot of stuff but i've had circumstances where the roll went under the 4D. I think the hitbox on 4D is bigger in the earlier frames or something. As for the DP, this is what we'll be doing once we (eventually)become less scrubby, so watch out when she gat meter No biggie. Just remember that blocking high after the A asteroid vision C follow up is the option that leads to the least damage.

  14. Meh, winning doesn't mean you're not playing scrubby. I was (still am but less) dropping a lot of combos then Anyways, i'll pm you whenever i get online and you're online too for a few games, we have a pretty good connection.

  15. Since he's talking about corner shenanigans with the orb, i'd assume he was talking about this. You most definitely cannot and should not 360 that unless you wanna eat 6k+. You can guess and block 6b or 2b, or not tech and stay on the ground or do the spinning super. Bolded part FTW. Shit is +4 on block, so yeah don't try punishing, just 360 her ass when you see her spinning. Asteroid vision C followup hits mid. Then she can go into a low or overhead or C mash which hits mid and is extremely unsafe. Like -12 or something on block. Just grab her or something. Always watch out for the overhead follow up, as she can connect into 2D or 5D after that one for big damage. The low one hits for like 700 damage with no follow ups so you have no reason to be scared of that. As for 2Cing asteroid vision, i'm not sure about that. If the makoto notices, couldn't he just asteroid+barrier guard + punish? And BBS is getting nerfed

  17. To be fair, i fought this lvl 65 noel quite a few times and I was surprised he got away with drive spamming. Taught him a few things or two on how to play Noelie. Anyways, 2d reduced invincibility frames don't really matter that much imo. They weren't that much and anyways, I only use it to crossup or when i anticipate a low. Starry, you're in canada, we should play, we're probably gonna have a good connection \o/

  21. Haku can cancel airdash with J.D counter. Do that when you're airdashing and she does her BBS. This is not a good idea. Don't forget that she can throw you into 3.5-5.5k depending on whether she has meter, so trying to use counter on her mixup might not be a good idea. Especially considering that those counters are easily baited.
  22. Yeah, lambda doesn't have any answer to J.2C. What's interesting is that you can jump cancel J.2C into J.2C to catch punish attempts. Once you tag them with that a few times, they'll be more wary about trying to counter the initial J.2C. It's def not safe on IB, i've been 720d by Tager after it. Then I learned to jump cancel when it's blocked. 3C is a safe get in move when lambda's in the air. 214C>Barrier guard is a safe way to get in too. This is one of the few matchups i feel is in Mak's favor.
  23. I'd love to play him, i got next to zero matchup exp vs a good ragna. I'm less agressive vs Rags though, you gotta respect that 5B which eats all my pokes for free.

  24. Thx Pachi, didn't know about the ACA thingy on Tager. Gonna try to learn that. And yeah, 3C can be 360/720d but most people don't know the matchup so i can still get away with it Gotta stop abusing it, though.
