  1. Speaking of Ogawa, I haven't seen footage of him in a long time. Not since his Eddie got kinda thrashed by Machaboo's Sol. He still playing?
  2. As a Canadian Play-asia is my only choice. I imported JoJo ASB through them, and there was a sort of 'hiccup' where they didn't get enough copies initially or something so my order didn't come in as quickly, but 'sides that it was all good.
  3. Sweet, so Sin officially confirmed. His mechanics seems weird from that brief description but I can't wait to see how it pans out. Kinda reminds me of Hakumen's gauge mixed with, I dunno, Order Sol? Still, hype. Can't wait to see Sinz in action!

  5. Thanks to all who responded to my GGvSFIV trades thing. I get it now. The wiki also helped, thanks shtkn. Ooooh, interesting! When it comes to announcements to things that interest me, I like the word 'various'. Can't wait. Is a Famitsu or whatever magazine releasing next week?
  6. I think Sol had just recovered from being rejected. I think. I also guess the rejection animation is invulnerable to bursts cuz Ky's totally missed when he was right beside him. I wonder why Ain chose to Burst after his successful BS. Maybe his top player level mind games go way over my head, lol.
  7. I notice as I watch a lot of USFIV footage to counterbalance my GGXrd footage that there are a lot more trades in the former. Moves don't trade nearly as much in GG as SFIV. USFIV has a 'priority' system to moves like GG, right? Is it then because of the 'higher/lower body invincibility' a lot of the arksys games do or does Street Fighter have that to? I notice mostly during the 'killcam' (lack of a better word, sorry) shots when one player defeats another in Xrd. Most of the time one move flat out beats another. While in SFIV some of the metagame almost revolved around trades (like how a dude like Ryu could get hit out of his shoryu but still juggle the opponent into Metsu in Vanilla and all sorts of Sagat bullshittery). Not trying to bash SFIV, I just, I dunno. Got curious.

  9. i'm guessing you guys have seen the footage of Daiji's Ram in the recent 'Shinjiku Sportsland' casual on Goldenrody's channel? I gotta say, the dude's Ram is lethal, lol. The lockdown with the swords not even in the corner looked so air tight, but then again he was fighting Slayer who doesn't have a 'omgawesome' reversal tool like say, Sol's VV. Still, it was fun to watch and some of the best Ram play I've seen yet! This character is continuing to get better as the weeks go by. Ogawa put her in a high place on his personal tier list and I'm finally starting to see why, lol.
  10. Gamespot also has a couple vids up, just first time players most likely but it's nice to remind folk of how UTTERLY STUNNING this game looks, holy balls.   11. Yikes that is so random, lol. But also so very cool. I definitely think its true for these top players, they can pick up any number of characters and do so well with 'em. Meanwhile I can barely get to 'just OK' using one character. That's the difference between them and me I suppose, lol...
  12. My local EB isn't even taking preorders yet...but they are for Mortal Kombat X. #biasedmuch Jk. I'm just happy this week is almost over, I have a feeling E3 is going to be phenomenal for fighting game fans.
  13. Adachi was definitely my number 1 dude to make it since the first Arena so jeah, I'm pretty hyped at his inclusion. I just hope he doesn't end up ass in the long run. Then again I use Elizabeth so I suppose anything is a trade up. Here's hoping for a trailer soon!
  14. Is it just me or does it seem like Bedman has a hard time fighting Ramlethal? For two kinda neutral heavy monsters, it seems like Bedman can't really get his gameplan going once Ram gets hers. Like, it seems like in order for Bedman to make some momentum, he at least has to set a seal up off Task A bedball or something but Ram can instantly nullify it with her own projectile. And it seems once she has a sword set it instantly cuts off Bedman's means of approach, the sword angles seem to cover all of Bedman's best ways in lol. I dunno how right I am, just kind of a one-off observation. As for good matchups, I heard somebody saying once that they think Bedman might have an edge over May, maybe.
  15. That's from the incoming patch, I'm guessing. I think they said they would be tweaking some of the RC properties for 1.04. That is definitely... a tweak, lol.
  16. I wonder if Xrd'll be dubbed when its shown at E3. Probably too soon, eh?
  17. Well, I was kinda expeciting a late last quarter release anyways so I'm not too bummed out. I guess later part of fall and the 'holiday' season of 2014 kinda overlap so... no harm done, right? Hears hoping it doesn't get delayed or anything. That's what I\m worried about!

  19. Sweet news! Wasn't expecting it which makes it even sweeter! Also hype to hear Xrd'll be at E3. Can't wait to hear some more info on what to expect from consoles. I wonder if console'll have bigger character tweaks and count as an update...Oh I guess we'll see.

  21. In the case of Dizzy 'would be's', I could see them making some of her projectiles non YRCable like Eddie's drills.
  22. As said, Anji YRC butterfly would be the tits. I hope the butterfly isn't completely like #R, though. I never liked how it only blossomed on hit. I could see it hitting mid like it does in AC/+R. 'side that, I think Anji would be awesome in Xrd, even before the envitable new moves they'll give him. Like I think you could do HS Fuujin and depending if the opponent jumps back or something you could YRC on reaction and go to 623HS, kinda like Hammerfall YRC. You could do YRC P stomp to put Anji in the air, then sweep, or Fuujin>S followup> RC, air combo or 623HS. As for new moves... ehh I dunno. unfortunately they'll definitely get rid of 3P/3K/3S which I'll be sad about, especially 3P. They'll probably also get rid of his K guardpoint, but they'll most likely hand out some new ones. I also know it's unlikely, but I think it would be cool if they gave Anji a command grab. I don't have real in depth reasoning for that, just uhh... yeah, it would be cool, lol.
  23. Yeah, I've also seen players with command grabs opting for a command grab to avoid rejection rejection.
  24. All that matters is Merkava. For the briefest of moments I thought Akatsuki looked kinda interesting to try, but something tells me it'll be more rewarding to stick with Death Chicken long term. I promise everyone here I will be the most fraudulent Merk player to grace this forum.
