  1. Fuck yes, it does. That's mix-up from poking range. "Keep the fuck away while your shit gets confused." kind of nonsense.
  2. Ky can enter Instant Kill Mode and initiate the Instant Kill before Dizzy's attack even finishes.
  3. Where can one purchase a stick like the kind kaworu posted?
  4. http://www.a-cho.com/meta/acho_ggxx_20070405d.asx Pretty nasty OTG combo, from Slide Head, that involves an Air Potemkin Buster.
  5. Technically, yes, it's the 5HS that is what can cause the OTG combo, but Darkness Anthem is the move that actually knocks them up. Both are essential for the combo, as Darkness Anthem is about the only move that you can pull out before they can stand back up.
  6. Huh? No no, you can still OTG a 236P. However, even in Slash, it didn't work on every character after an Air Throw; it would whiff against certain characters. S'like how I-No can't be accidentally OTG'd by Potemkin's Slide Head/Giganter set-up in ^ Core. The Raoh Darkness Anthem OTG may be character specific, as well.
  7. It's probably character specific, just like how you can't OTG a 236P from an Air Throw on each character.
  8. In that voice set, A.B.A. sounds like she says "SLAM DUNK!" in her 236S string. But anyway, yes, Raoh's 5HS causes knockdown, which can be OTG launched by his new Darkness Anthem; it can be guided downwards.
  9. Way to smoke that Axl, Garrett. Excellent job on the ground throws and teleporting. When Dub visited, it was mentioned that your Chipp and Gohn's Potemkin should definitely do battle.
  10. You can't be air thrown out of j.HS if the ghost is already exploding. If you're being thrown out of your okizeme, you're waiting too long to whip it out.
  11. Excellent job baiting Baiken's Guard Cancels. She seemed to use them a bit too much, and it was very slick to throw her out of them so often.
  12. Throwing is essential. Not necessarily for the combos afterwards, but for the mere fact of mix-ups. Sol Badguy is a completely different character without his Riot Throw game. It's what prevents people from simply blocking his strings all day long.
  13. That's debatable. Ky has the range and projectiles necessary to make it fuckin' difficult to move the Puppet anywhere near Ky. Ky's 2S and a.236S [with a possible FRC, if necessary] are Puppet Bane moves.
  14. Not bad. Two negative things that were definitely obvious: 1) Throws. You rarely went for a Throw of any kind, concentrating purely on pressure strings. 2) Faultless Defense. If you ran forward, you either didn't stop with Faultless Defense or always threw out a 2P or 2K. Nice job on the Dog 2D Combo, though.
  15. If the enemy was in the air when you hit them with Slide Head, it would explain the wake-up that occurred.
  16. It's about as good as any air poke of that range, probably. It's his longest reaching air poke, aside from perhaps his a.HS, though that it situational and wouldn't apply to your scenario.
  17. That, and 6HS counts as Potemkin's hitbox [and is vulnerable to moves like Volcanic Viper], while Giganter is not. Hahaha, most people are a bit too afraid to Instant Block 6HS. S'not a move you want to get hit by.
  18. So, technically, you could use 6HS? That'd be a horrible idea, but anyway.
  19. No. The only way to cause a guaranteed Slide Head as okizeme is to throw out a move with good block stun beforehand, such as Giganter.
  20. Sol could almost definitely Volcanic Viper out, and Ky may be able to do the same with a well-timed Vapor Thrust; perhaps even Chipp, with the new properties on his Beta Blade. Ky and Chipp are more iffy, though
  21. Unless they're into that kind of stuff.
  22. Well, there's plenty of 'trap' strings that can be done mid-screen, such as throwing out a 2D Dog while performing 2K, c.5S, 5S, [Dog Bite], 6HS. That combo was in the same video.
  23. Basically, Pot Bust is only going to 'work' if you throw it out as the Throwback ends, and the opponent performs some kind of non-defensive maneuver that would normally be defeated by Pot Bust.
  24. TOMOI from the recent A-Cho clips uses it twice against Eddie. Essentially, it is a properly time 2D Dog coupled with an air.S.
  25. Throwback [if that's what it is called] seems to cause an equal amount of reset for both characters, so no.
