If there's guilty gear I will come! Maybe!

sharon really hasn't been playing much in a long time, raku(luck), and maruken are much more prevelant/easier to find. There's a third baiken player running around but I totally can't remember who now.
-
the first hit of the combo happened after the curse had already dissipated, it doesn't mark if they were hit by bugs or not, it marks if they were cursed when the combo started.

It's best to use as a guide line. 5.5 and 6.0 are bad but not too terrible, 6.5 and 7 are really bad, anything past that borders on unwinnable.

alright, my turn now! Any advice other than 'don't dive face first into anti airs like a fool 3 times in a row' is greatly appreciated. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DC5aaE0LKk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pzq5xJKSQv8 also i was bursting like a complete scrub in those .

I mean looking at the bracket I think me and you definitely deserved top 8, but wuku is a lot scarier than jais, plastic chicken, me, and you. -

isn't it robo ky? I heard he's missing something. -
to be fair I think L-cancelling is retarded. The reason FRC is fine and L cancelling is not is that(to my knowledge) you should never NOT L cancel. Which means there is no choice, there is no management, nothing, it's just every time you jump and attack low to the ground you should L cancel. Which IMO is a needless execution barrier(also irritating).
-
all of those can be applied to basically every FRC in the game.
-
but adding a bigger window gets into the realm of confirmability, then you can watch for what they are doing and then FRC as soon as you see them do any thing. using hellmonkeys example I could tatami, and then as soon as I see him move FRC, instead of FRCing ASSUMING slayer's going to try and punish me.
-
I disagree with missed FRC's 'harder makes it deeper' I heavily agree with 'longer frames on FRC's changes their functionality' because they completely do.
-
lol Watches I'm not sure most of the people in this thread have any idea that baiken alex refers to me(or at least didn't until I made this post).

because the arcade is where they play the games, arcades sponsor the tournements and provide the space for the tournaments. It's not like america where we, the community, have to do all the work. Arcades want people in them playing games, so they organize everything.
-
plus if we allow ANY console stuff we have to start drawing lines. Sure EX 'your favorite totally balanced(you promise!!)' character maybe okay, but what about justice and kilff? what about all the other EX characters, we have to start figuring out as a community what is balanced, and we may not agree. We know the main cast is balanced because the company tested them and balanced them. This is already why america is worse than japan. The fact of the matter is playing your scrubby sol buddy 1000 times doesn't make you prepared for a real sol, playing your competitive friends 3rd tertiary character doesn't prepare you either. No they wouldn't, because japan wouldn't use them, which is who the game is made for and who tests the game. The rest of your reason are okay for AMERICA to use 'em, but the problem is what happens when some of the japanese players want to come to america, or we want to go to SBO? It just plain won't happen anymore, it'll be cutting our small community off from the bigger communities.

If possible we should get GG running on PS2's I've heard it doesn't run very well on the ps3, plus a lot of people may or may not have ps3 sticks. -
it ALSO connects to tatami when they're crouching.

I used to do the same thing for gunblaze, I've only recently trained myself not to faultless it. as for no IAD tatami's, that's fine for a tournament, just make sure you attempt it every time in non tournament environments. It's important to try the stuff you SHOULD be doing as much as possible in casuals(not sure if you are or not since those were tournament vids). Another thing about HOS, F.s rapes everything he has except sweep. Yes that includes super(the fire one, not the punch one, punch super probably wins), and forcebreak, and rocket. For faust the biggest thing I can say is learn the faust specific stuff. Everytime you sweep him jump dust(or possibly jump j.p->normal loop). After tatami mat j.p->j.KICK->j.d instead of jump slash. Everything else it looks like you learned as you were going(IE don't challenge fausts j.hs). Faust is one of my less known matchups, I fight it like twice a year if even. In general get your spacings down, there's a lot of times where you try and do combo's that don't work from the ranges you're hitting at, and a lot of times you could be getting combo's that you're not. This happened a lot vs venom. F.s also rapes venom almost as bad as it does HOS. kick countering through projectiles against people as fast and damaging as sol is REALLY dangerous. Even if he was farther away he coulda FRC'd it and chased you down. Also his command grab i spain in a can. also 5p is an unbelievably awesome meaty if you knock em down close enough to do it(it's a lot easier with tatami oki). Needs more TK yozansens!

really? I heard gold lightan beat the hell out of PTX but lost to basically everyone else.
-
no way, veteru is ours!

I'd bet on northwest to at least have a chance, we've also gotten every BB machine within weeks of release and a few of us are VERY good(not me I'm only pretty good).

I'll be commenting as I watch the videos. First thing, random suzuran is really dangerous against HOS, his forcebreak is a low and leads to damage, and it's like his longest ranged move so they like to use it at neutral sometimes. You only got a light punish, but it could have been worse. The okizime fire spikes(I forget what they are called) are really dangerous and really confusing, they aren't low so you don't need to crouch them, and I believe faultlessing or not faultlessing and standing or not standing all change whether it's a cross up or not. Also watch out for IAD's against HOS, he can sue the same move to slide under you and get a counter hit into MASSIVE damage. Also don't burst the fire spike until he jumps up and tries to hit you, if he's gonna bait your burst MAKE him bait it, don't let him auto bait it. after mid screen throws why don't you do IAD tatami oki? I'll watch the other 2 and post comments later

GGAC would be awesome! -
come play the side tournaments for both! you save like 30 bucks that way. 2 years ago we had an 80 man strong GG tournament, let's make it bigger!
