Alright, thats fine with me. Need to unwind
-
Around what time. Because i wont be home till around freaking midnight
-
I got used to it. I dont think she'll be played too often once console comes. Maybe at first, but i dont see it in the long run
-
She may be one of those characters whose boring to watch but fun to play. I dont find her boring though. Cant wait to get my hands on her and Izayoi
-
I think her normals are just kind of awkward. Not slow. Just have to know your spacing it looks like. 623B is indeed pretty stupid. It really needs to be used more. Kuresu didn't do anything groundbreaking, but he did do about 2 notable things I made notes of. Pretty much what I've been doing ever since she was revealed. Compiling everything I see that's notable. So many things I want to test with her. Only thing I know I won't enjoy are the 236B > 214A > 2B combo routes. They look like a pain in the ass to confirm usually if your spacing a bit off, and I would rather not go into the 623B > 623B ender. Maybe dash buffering will work like skd said. But we cant really try that yet

....... I didnt get a chance to check the vids today because i was working the entire day Edit: He was pretty good with her. Guess hes still unfamiliar with her combo theory. Wish he did 6B/3C oki instead of continuing corner combos
-
Im pretty sure there is no footage of Kuresu playing Izayoi. Maybe you mean someone else Out all of the Izayois Ive seen, Riku was the most consistent. But he hasnt shown up much or in awhile.

We in there

What kinda gay crap is that. Why is she getting 7k from 2 charge combos then. Or is 46D~236D just THAT GOOD.
-
Im not sure what that no is to
-
But isnt it the bonus each time a D move is used for the first time in Mugen. Like using 46D~236D will net a bonus from both specials, but wont the second time their used. But I wonder if the aura is counted as well.

Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)
Surf replied to Hecatom's topic in Under Night In Birth
From what I remember UNiB was meant to be a French Bread project. But at the same time they wanted to experiment with HD in prep for the next Melty. So while UNiB is a thing in its own, its still a Melty Blood HD prototype of sorts. I forgot who said it, but in one of the interviews someone said they wanted Type Moon to advance their series more so they could start on the next Melty. So the reason why there wasnt another Melty was because Type Moon wanted them to stop? -

Well. I would answer you in more depth but, I haven't really played the game yet. But some blockstrings I had in my notes were far 5B > 5C > dash 5B > 2B > dash 2A 2AA > 5B > 5C > charge 236A > dash 5C > 2A I guess I only copied down two because I got the general idea of her normals and strings and didn't really bother to do more. Im not sure what you mean by whiffing the first hit of 2C. Im pretty sure she can't feint it, and both hits are guaranteed to come out when you do it. At most, I'd say the only mixup you can really get out of it is 2C(1) > RC > 6A. Even if you hit them with the second hit only, you'd still have to Rapid cancel to continue with a combo.
-
Well yoy can do other basic mixups instead of throw. Like fake j.C into 2B. And j.A instead of j.C into 720. Or late airdadh j.C, but that wont work if they roll out of the way. There are a couple more i took note of but ill edit my post with them when in home
-
Hmm. I actually think using your 22D maneuver in the corner in conjunction to mine may be extremely useful. Since mine is a fake crossup/just confusing them. We spoke about it before I'm pretty sure. Combo > 22D > airdash > land > dash 2A They'll bounce from the 22D, and when you airdash you'll appear behind them. If they neutral tech the dash 2A will put you in front of them again. People usually don't block this when I do it a couple times, because their just confused as to what just happened. But using the 22D crossup and this setup too, you can train them to block any which way and get a confirm. If you hit them pretty high, go for Kiba's version. Because you will not cross up if you airdash. My version works on ground combos and low to the ground though. But as soon as they start delaying their tech, funs over.

Oh yea.... forgot about that game

I like how Izayoi had a Ōdachi for her weapon before getting a Z Saber. While I like the Z Saber, I think I would prefer the Ōdachi more. But I guess they didn't want her too similar to Hakumen in that respect. The lance seems really cool as well. I think that wouldve fit her more, and it would be pretty interesting as to how her normal would be if she had a lance. Don't think their are any characters in Arc games that have one.
-
I do like her earlier designs better. But its not like she looks terrible now. Izayoi's earlier designs look pretty gdlk. Ugh, I really wish Mori wasnt doing the character art again. Not of fan of how he makes his characters look. And hes not the best with anatomy
-
Wow you guys actually managed to make Errol mad. How the hell'd you do that

As I was typing out the message I was thinking the first 2 reasons you said are most likely why.

I would sometimes do that after the 214C during the crouching combo. Just run in 5A. But I don't really do it much anymore. 236C looks to be the better option anyway
