Sounds shakey. I'll have to spend time trying to see for myself, because it sounds like it's not going to work on everything, and it being blocked is really bad, whiffing could be worse.

Actually LK - I'm curious about something - how often does Hatsu or TK hatsu beat out anyone's jump-in or advance? I've read a lot of noel's stuff is stuffed by hatsu, so I was wondering if hatsu on reaction would be any good instead of other options that may miss or get beaten out?

Not hard to get special moves to chain together. Game seems forgiving for specials in comparison with games like SF4 or KOF13. 5B > 2C > 6D > Haku > Hatsu > Riichi > Ippatsu > Hatsu > Haku > Chun seems entirely doable, even for me. :P

I just beat Story mode and unlocked Mu, being curious, I began pouring over the wiki again trying to tie up loose ends. I read that Extend's Unlimited Litchi has Jam's 236236HS overdrive. Hah!

Hi Tsubakis! I'm trying to learn but I keep doing stupid things with Tsubaki. Any tips on things I shouldn't do with Tsubaki? I definitely figured out that I should stop running *into* Curse... Here's some playing I did last night: Not sure what to do off 2C or 3C followup, I'll have to look it up. -
This is a REAL HONEST FIGHTER. I understand exactly how you feel, but just practice. If you have a stick I recommend stick for this game over pad. Unfortunately I'm a pad warrior. If you are new, I'd recommend Clark for your grappler - he's cleaned up two major tourneys as if they were netplay, and he's really good. I play Vice myself, but she just isn't Clark. There are so many Kulas it's kinda lame, but she's very solid and deserving of popularity. Yuri is Akuma, thus also popular and strong.

Wow, what happened to all the other stuff? It looks like I can do more of those, now. IDK why. I feel like I can do those. BBC instead of BCB is much easier for me.

The first 5 were okay. Usually after that I start getting tired. I was in pain all night, so I'm susceptible to burning out quickly because I'm so damn tired. That's true, I mean, I'm as defensive as someone who isn't a zoner can possibly be, so after a while I figured "just go crazy". After posting my video I found a guy that posted videos of Vice's trials. That should help. Whenever I've tried, I can never hit buttons fast enough for anything to link together. I've tried it but I've made zero progress. Simple as hell things like Vices 214AC->214A seems to help. Many many times I couldn't nail followups after the tackle. It was very frustrating. I've tried the jump-in many times but it's so unsafe on block that I'm not sure what to do other than back off and try again, even though you didn't punish it.

Misunderstandings - whaddayaagonna do? Well, I seem to be most comfortable AAing with Mature and Mai so far. Both have standing or crouching Cs that work well to shut down space, and I've been trying to use them to corner people. With Vice it's supposed to be Standing D or Crouching C...but I'm not used to it, yet. One's short and one looks slow. As for being more aggressive - I don't think that works well at my level. I should be focused on defending myself and learning how to find openings and learn how players actually play characters. I tend to be defensive, anyways, so maybe I just need to change things up, but I see that as requiring skills I don't have right now.

Firstly, you are the only person I've played this game against regularly. Dude, you're just too good for me - I mean that out of respect. Any match I record with us is either completely pointless or, if I win, completely fraudulent. Don't you think so? If you want, upload one of our 80 matches where I get flattened and look like a complete noob, well, because I am, but I don't know what you have to get out of it. I'm the one trying to figure things out. Nope. Actually, I learned this from watching SCR. The trouble is making sure I remember, now. I have to make sure I think "When he flashes, you can not beat it." Hah! Cool. We should play today.

Fresh off today's matches - me fighting someone who ISN'T Bolverk. I noticed Shen has invincibility on all metered attacks...Super! How'd I do?

Tried the demo - didn't get to make much of it because I don't know much about changes version-to-version. It's MB, though. Too bad I couldn't play anyone I knew in any way. The game functions alright, but could use better local support. (not likely) IT picked up on my Controller, so I was pleased about that. Doesn't work great on some resolutions, though.

I think a large part of Creativity centers around the ability to avoid making mistakes or forcing (or allowing) your opponent to make a mistake. I think most games center around mistakes.

My Edge is that I'm so ass-terrible at these games that when I do something good my opponent loses. It's like hidden power level.

I definitely think a patch that improved netcode and added actual rooms would do a lot for the game and people like me that are getting into KoF outside of "Oh hey look what's in the PS2" play.
