So Alzarath, would you say that generally speaking it's better to go for raw curse, usually with the use of FB curse? Also, if they try and duck it, would setting up S EXE Beast while the curse is over their going for 22K teleport and using 6P be a viable setup?

I'm not entirely sure that Sol and Testament are entirely even. Mind you, I think it may only be slight favor to Sol, so like 5.5/4.5 Sol. HS EXE Beast not coming out immediately hurts Testament a bit, especially when he's trying to stop Sol from gliding in and when he's trying to get some breathing room. I also think the damage difference between the two might play a factor, though I'm not entirely sure on that. Anyone else care to give their opinions on this?

I'm having a good amount of issues with most of these. Any tips?

Are there any good crossup setups with his new teleport? Like, would placing the tree then teleporting behind the opponent be a good idea? Also, are we creating new matchup threads for the +R update?

Is there any "solid" way to deal with his air normals? It seems like with proper spacing he can beat out my 6A without much trouble.

It's mainly the command dash, yea. He'll use it like 3, 4 times in a row and I've been having a bitching time dealing with it. I'm glad it loses out to to 3C though, I'll have to try implementing that. Also, having a bit of trouble finding good spots to set things up.

Woo! Finally came up with a red combo that yields around 4k and at least works on Yu (not entirely sure if it's character specific). I didn't see it going through the thread, although I did see similar combos. If it is a repost, please forgive me. Start with Konohana Sakuya behind the opponent for this one. 1/2/3D (to place Konohona Sakuya) > 4/5/6D FC > dash (if necessary) > 5BB > 236[A+B] > 236D > ]A[ > ]B[ > 5BB > 5C > 5BB > 5C > 236A/B

Getting REALLY sick of getting kicked/rooms disbanding the second I win or getting kicked on sight constantly even when I have a good connection to the room.

Is Dancing Fire supposed to be a "get off me" type move, almost like a ghetto DP? Or is it more suited to being a combo ender?

Not sure if I posted in the Testament forums before and I know this is really late to ask this, but with the console update to +R looming, I can't help but wonder. Has Testament changed drastically to the point of being played entirely different (not counting the BL loop) or does he have a lot of the same shenanigans. I really like what I've seen in videos and plan on sticking with him regardless (Just got really into Guilty Gear about 3 years ago with the PSP versions of the game and after messing around with Dizzy, found that he suited my style more, so switched - not a tier thing lol), but I'm just curious.

This is probably quite an old fact, but someone asked me the other day if Rachel had an unblockable setup. It made me wonder, does low flying winded pumpkin plus 4B work for this? Or can the opponent just block the whole thing high?
