For me, it's weird because the forum should be kind of cluttered, and full of information about Extend still. The cleanup was too harsh and as of now it's as if Extend doesn't even exist, new players who find themselves here have to go to the archive to find information. This place has lost its soul to me especially now. You have a fucking forum but you don't want us here talking about things? One person says groups are basically dead, another says we have to leave the site and talk on skype... Whatever, Guymam took the words out of my mouth. See you in october maybe

What the hell? Can we get a social thread then? I can see how one would not want a thread of this title to be filled with clutter but there should be no reason to try and restrict our posting and fun.

While we're all patiently waiting for the newest edition of BB, I'd like to casually recommend DotA 2 for anyone here with a decent computer. If you dont know about this kind of game yet, there's a lot to explain - I like to say it's like RTS + fighting games but with 5v5 teamwork. It's a great eSport. If you already play, hit me up, or if you want to learn/sap one of my invites I can teach you some shit. It's on Steam. To be honest, it was a bit sloppy in retrospect. It was my first guide ever. I think we can do a lot better, I'd also like to see an advanced tactics and strategy guide from someone or maybe a small group that doesn't involve me (I suck) I don't think I'm going to write the beginner guide for BBCP unless nobody else wants to. If this is the case, be aware I will be using the old one as a rough draft of sorts and basically just rewrite/update it to make it more professional and interesting as well as relevant to BBCP over Extend. This won't be until we get the game of course. I don't know about you all -minus guymam- but Hazama is the only reason I keep coming back to BB so it's my mission to turn all of us Americans who have no fucking clue how to play him into godlike snakechain trench coat fedorafags.

I just find the Arcade to be a better setting for gatherings overall, there's just that awesome nostalgic feel going to an Arcade to play, and hang out. Plus there's a bunch of great food that's within walking distance so yeah. Agreed with Cody. We don't want to cap our numbers to 15 and be forced to play on like 3 or 4 setups.

Keep it at the arcade IMO. Easier and more setups. BUT I have been out of the loop for awhile so IDK, just my 2 cents

I had no problem learning fundamentals from BB. If you ask me pretty much every fighter has it's own feel to it. It's not like he's trying to play Arakune lol. Dude likes BB and wants to get into it, no reason to discourage him. Jin is a great character to start with.

This is the post. I lol'd hard here. Also, I remember YukiBlue back from when he played Hazama, and pretty much every other character. He stopped playing Hazama because of something like, "this character gets rewarded for everything he does..." :zidane: There's so much j.c it's actually disgusting. At least now there's some variation though, I guess. I do like the overdrive/new chain stuff shenanigans.

The thing about chain movement is that it's been slightly changed each game. Back when I was starting I felt myself getting better each month, as I stuck with him my movements and choices became much more crisp and fluid. It's just that now we can stop our momentum extremely early leading to an even more diverse drive button. Also, Hazama can move backwards, super jump backwards is one of his best options. Just because you can make 3c safe doesn't mean you want to actually use it a lot. Now, comparing your post to the <2> point, I don't even see the correlation between the two. He was just trying to tell you how to combo after 623d. You only use 3c as a mindgame after conditioning them to block your ressenga's. It has -6 on block and regardless of whether or not you can catch them with a Jabaki or they just block it(more likely), you've still ended your pressure. It's just not a normal that you use in block strings very often.
