Just a warning though, if you ever end up playing on a cabinet you'll be out of luck because there's only 4 buttons. I had maps for rapid/burst/barrier/grab on pad but I feel it's unnecessary on stick; I have no qualms with just pressing two or three buttons when they're all laid out on a flat surface and in a row. Do whatever you want. Skullgirls is not what exactly what I was going for. I'm talking about something really casual to get you used to having the stick in your hand instead of a pad. Shoot 'em ups, platformers, certain RPGs, single stick action games (something that you don't need to control the camera a lot/two sticks) are more along the line of what I like to use my stick for. MegaMan X is a good one. Your stick should work with your PC clean. Just plug in and configure the buttons with the game/program. Although, Skullgirls plays a lot better on stick too, you should give that one another shot.

Keep practicing, it might take a few weeks or months to get comfortable. Practice dashing, DP, supers and quarter circles. A good friend once told me, "You want to 'draw' the input with your thumb." Why do you need six buttons? BB only has 4 buttons. Personally I just use ABC D Keeping my thumb on D and index-middle-(ring/pinky) on the top three. Play something that's not BB with your stick. If you have Super Meat Boy on your PC that's a great game to play with stick. I've heard of people playing PacMan to get used to using the stick as well. Just something simple that will familiarize you with the concept of playing with your new 'utensil'. As far as how you're holding it, I've noticed most people play with overhand styles. I prefer wineglass myself, but now that my execution is beefed up I have less trouble using it overhand if I want/need to. Make sure you watch the vid on youtube with all of the different styles if you haven't yet. It all comes down to a matter of preference - what feels comfortable for you? Keep playing around and try to find something that you like. Remember that you don't want to have the same hand position 100% of the time; you want to let it flow and move your hand in a way that keeps you relaxed and comfortable. The final advice I offer is to loosen up your arm/wrist instead of feeling tense. Relaxation and calmness will get you a lot farther than frustration and trying to force it.

Good info ShadowFiend. All I've got on this is, glide > Ceasar. Just IB it. Also watch out for duck -> grab. If you don't tech this they're going to keep doing it until you do.

Well then... You definitely want to bait his 2b as much as possible, and you have to watch out for his other long range moves like 5b and j.b. These are his whole game plan, lol. Baiting DP is essential and nets huge reward. The ziodyne cancel is not as annoying as Mitsuru's but he does have the option, generally you can roll through it's startup and still get a full punish + they just lost 50 meter. Whenever you see raging lion overhead, you can DP it. If not then IB it for frame advantage. A version is -2 and B version is +3, SB is +1. Don't get hit by these by the corner, it's a huge damage starter. When locked down in side to side 5d oki, mash from 1 to 3 and you'll start IBing a bunch of the hits. Can also try watching + reacting but good luck/have fun with that. Watch out for raging lion/AoA though. Swift Strike aka ziocar and Raging Lion = scrubbiest mixup ever... Whenever you're at a distance just block low and punish ziocar for god's sake. We don't have to worry about it as much because we can spend a lot of time in the air here. Just keep an eye out and be ready to DP those lions. You can also DP the car if you must, but you might as well just block it and 2a. You can roll through Zio... or you can just glide over it That's all I've got for now.

What do you mean? I figured I would switch to Yosuke eventually - mobility, knives, troll. He's really not too much like Haz but more so than the rest of the cast. I ended up being right. I still sub Kanji for fun and want to learn Aki but Yosuke is where it's at as far as what I want to be able to do in P4.

Breaking from BB has only made my fundamentals and overall style much better... P4 has made me appreciate BB a lot more, although I don't see myself stopping P4 any time soon. I'm just starting to get into the Yosuke clan. There's still hype for P4 out here too so that helps. There was one point where I found myself trying to use a chain as Yosuke earlier, lol. At a gathering weeks ago someone gave me the idea of Kanji having Hazama chains. That would be so goddamn sick. Guymam confirmed for wanting less Hazama players. I know that most of us are big on Haz loyalty but to all the lurkers... don't listen to him. IT'S ALL LIES At this point I've done all I can for the Haz cause. I don't really care what happens, more haz = good, rare haz = still good, so it's whatever. I know I've at least helped out a few of you fuckers. Not necessarily the posters who have played since CS1/CS2 but the lurkers and the scrubs. Enjoy your broken ass character and become godlike so I can get hype for you when you make it to top 8 on stream. At least blow up the people on netplay who think they're actually good and get on that youtube. Anti-air 5a sucks for me now. I never got accustomed to the tiny ass hitbox after CS1. It really only works on the sloppiest of air approaches, I prefer the other 4 legit anti-airs lol.

Azrael does look pretty great, and I've heard he has some Slayer style in some moves, which definitely makes me interested. Although now that I've realize how great Amane is going to be my hype settled a bit towards Az. I'm still excited for the new matchup either way.

I think ZR's just saying that it's such a silly matchup, who'd have thought Hazama would have the hardest time against... himself. If you've ever played Hazama mirrors against someone decent you know what I mean. Why else would there be so little info about Haz - the people who understood how good he was didn't want him to be overplayed because he's such an annoying character.
