Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but if Amazon is to be trusted, Extend will be released in the US on the 28th of July. That's 11 days after EVO.

If the community wants to remind/show people that Dead or Alive 5 Last Round is a legitimate fighting game, wouldn't showcasing the good mechanics and systems do a lot more than soft-banning costumes? Going from "that game with sexy costumes" to "that game with soft banned sexy costumes" doesn't seem to be that much of an improvement, whereas going to something like "that game with sexy costumes and interesting, not overpowered counter mechanics" is a bit better.

Pretty cool to see 6D used without the follow-up 5D. Edit: Aww yeah, Bullet got 3rd best waifu in the latest character popularity poll and beat Noel by nearly twice the amount of votes XD .

This is true XD . Kaqn played a lot of characters back in Extend. In CP1 he played Ragna, Terumi, Bullet, Hazama, and maybe more. But yeah, in CP2 he's been playing like only Celica. I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually started playing other characters again though given his track record.

Seeing as Bullet actually got interesting changes, I might actually have to get this version. Then again, if everyone is just Nu-13, I won't be able to use any of those interesting changes and it'll be just like playing 1.1 Bullet (either blocking for days or dead).

That is a Heat Level 2 only combo. For Heat Level 1 you have to do something like: 41236C > 236D > 66 5B > j.B > j.C > 6B > j.C > j.D You can throw in a j.B before the final j.C if you think it won't put you out of range for j.D . Edit: Here's a slightly more optimized version of that combo of yours: 41236C > 236D > 66A > 236[A] > 66 5B > j.B > j.C > 6B > j.C > j.D
