  2. 5B > 5C > 5DD > 6B > Miquelet Capture (41236C) > 5B > j.B > j.C > 6B > j.C > j.D (3380, 24 Heat) On smaller characters such as Carl, you'll have to delay the 6B after 5DD a bit.
  3. 66 5B after Miquelet Capture with Heat Up Level 1 should work on the whole cast. You may have to delay it a bit on some characters.
  4. Completely forgot you could do this: 5B > 5C > 41236C > 236D > 66A > 236[A] > 66C > j.C > 6B > j.C > j.D 440 Edit: The first one does 5047 with red lock. The second one can be optimized to do 5031 with red lock like so 5B > 5C > 5DD > 66A > 236[A] > 6C > j.C > 5B > 6B > j.C > j.D
  5. Yeah, you can only do 6A after 41236C 236D if you have Heat Up level 2. The damage differences are: 5B > 5C > 41236C > 236D > 66A > 236[A] > 66C > j.C > 6B > j.C > j.D 4408 5B > 5C > 41236C > 236D > 66 5B > j.B > j.C > 6B > j.C > j.D 3976 I think you might be able to do more after 6C, but I can't remember and my execution is bad. Edit: Found a better 6A combo.
  6. On the topic of old habits, I find the main one I need to change is to use 5[C] for blockstrings so I don't end up at -1.

  8. GGs to Zong_One. Sorry I had to go after only 3 matches. I was getting pretty tired as you could have probably guessed from my failed spider laser punish in our second match OTL .
  9. Yeah, it really depends on the player. Just keep that in mind so you don't get a nasty surprise when you're low on health. That's how I learned about it at least.
  10. For what it's worth, it worked on Jin. - You can raw OD after a wallslam CT, so a combo like this will work: 5B > 5C > 5D[D] > 66A > CT > OD > 2B > 5B > 6B > 2363214C Not sure if this will lead to combos that are stronger than what we have now. More of a proof of concept than anything else.

  12. The changes are mainly small tweaks like: 6A > 5[C] Crush Trigger can be used in midscreen combos (check the video thread) 2B > 5C 6B > Snaphance Fist should be done over 5B > Snaphance Fist or 5B > 6B > Snaphance Fist etc New bnbs haven't been found yet.
  13. You should be careful about doing things like Afterburner at full screen when Azrael has more than 50 meter. It was shown to me that Black Hawk Stinger basically goes full screen and can punish it.
  14. Yeah, I more often than not just go straight to 6B since it's more stable that way.
  15. I tend to save 6D and 2D for corner oki with level 2 Heat Up. Even then I try to use it sparingly so people don't get too used to it. Also it might just be me, but I think 6D might have a higher hitbox than people think. I say this because I caught someone jumping out with it... I'll test it more later.

  18. So I thought I'd try out the new air throw. It still suffers from the same problem as the old one in my opinion, of where your height decides which moves will work and which won't. So be prepared for things like: super low to the ground air throw -> 5C -> Zantetsu (41236C) -> 2C -> j.2A -> j.C (3747, 1 magatama regained)
  19. Are you getting red lock for 5DD? You distortion drive after the 6B.
  20. Err, how does this work? Did you mean 2B > 5C? I'm happy with the chance since there were instances where 2B > 5B would whiff, mainly at max range 2B.
  21. 5B > 5C > 5DD > 6A > 236[A] > 6C > 2B > 5B > 6B > sj.C > j.623C (5079, 24 heat) > 2363214C (6159, 36 heat) / OD > 2363214C (6659, 36 heat) This route doesn't have great oki though, since you'll have to do Afterburner (214D) to retain Heat Up level 1. Therefore save it for kill combos. Edit: Random burst safe OD 100% heat corner combo 100% health: 5DD > OD > 5C > 5D > RC > 6B > 623C > 623D > 2363214C (5860, 2 heat) 75% health: 5DD > OD > 5C > 5D > RC > 6B > 623C > 623D > 2363214C (6423, 2 heat) 70% health: 5DD > OD > 5C > 5D > RC > 6B > 623C > 623D > 6A > 2363214C (6562, 3 heat) 50% health: 5DD > OD > 5C > 5D > RC > 6B > 623C > 623D > 6A > 236[A] > 2363214C (6738, 5 heat)
  22. 623C > 623D > 6A doesn't require a micro dash before 6A on Litchi and Hazama anymore! New combo route for 623C is looking like: 5B > 5C > 5D > RC > 6B > 623C > 623D > 6A > 236[A] > 66 5B > 6B > j.C > j.D 6B > 623C does more damage than 5B > 623C and 5B > 6B > 623C as well as gives 1 more meter in this combo. 5B > 5C > 5DD > 66A > CT > 6A > 236[A] > 5B > 6B > j.C > j.D For 4993 is all I've found. Interesting note, after Crush Trigger's wall bounce, you can pick them up with 2B. They'll tech after 5B when you're doing 6C > 2B > 5B > 6B.
