  1. Yup, that is that I meant. If you got other plans for it then I won't complain, though. Looking forward to it.
  2. Alright then, thanks. I absolutely love the way he says that as well, haha.
  3. Why would it not? Only Black Hawk Stinger becomes unblockable with weak points, everything else just gets REALLY buffed on hit only.
  4. Not only is it funnier, it actually manages to b a much better song than the original! Maybe you could upload the 'instrumental' version too?
  5. So like, what does this one translates to in English? Also to make sure I'm not going off topic, I have to say my favorite quotes are basically ANY of Bang's English quotes, Ragna's "Loser!" and "You're too weak to stand in front of me!"
  6. This I can agree with. I'm sick of Hazama getting all those buffs, and he is that close of just being above everyone else. Good damage everywhere, great pressure, great mixups, dat mobility. Give him a legit meterless DP and we're all fucked. @Errol Fair enough. Just saying that if used during pressure its not as fast as 19F, although off 3C oki its a pretty dangerous 50\50.
  7. If you mean 214D>A, its actually 25F total AT BEST due to having to enter his stance first, and it prorates like a bitch. Same for the command grab, although it doesn't change the fact its a really good one because its so effective at the job.
  8. I like how official material from the franchise is too NSFW for a forum so focused on it. Just funny when you think about it.
  9. A ice car in the corner is probably Jin's best form of oki. From there you can do a properly spaced neutral jump J.2C to cover just about anything the enemy can do. Mid-screen you're stuck with B\C Ice Car knockdowns while allow you to do basic oki but not safe jump anything. 2B catches tech rolls in such situations and can gatling into 5B for reseting pressure and\or frame trapping. I'm not a very good Jin player so take all of this with a gran of salt.
  10. They do suck in CP. Hard.
  11. I like it. Looks boss as hell.
  12. To add to your post, Hells Fang ender is also pretty decent for high meter gain and safe jump oki. You can go into it from most, if not all things that would lead into 22C ender instead.
  13. It is basically a timer for Scud Punishment's marks. As long the aura remains, they will keep coming back each time they're used. Plus it looks ridiculously badass. Edit: lol ninjad
  14. Its an unblockable strike grab, I would think.
  15. I suspected it was not only from 5C we could get a unblockable BHS out of it. The startup is 11F at best, and since most of Azrael's normal have around 16F blockstun then even on IB its super tight. I figure most people do it off 5C because they usually only do unblockable BHS after Scud Punishment stagger and don't wanna risk being out of range. Still, nice to get some confirmation.
  16. I am homo as fuck for Azrael. No homo.
  17. Yeah, I noticed Azrael doesn't seems to require the usage of links for his basic game as much characters like Slayer or the SF cast does. The ones you mentioned are probably the most often used ones worth mentioning, and for good reason. Between double weak points, 4K mid-screen, and corner carry, mastering those links is probably going to be close to a must have for Azrael players at a certain point. 5BB does push the enemy away quite a bit, but thankfully it also moves Azrael forward. That is the main reason why I think the link could be useful for boosting BnBs damage and making hit confirming easier. On a crouching enemy you can even skip the 5A link and go directly into 5B(Though its a bit harder), then go into 3C combos from there. I can see it being pretty useful as long you're good at confirming if you're in range for the link or not. Even outside of combos it can be used for frame trapping and whatnot because +8 is honestly really good for reseting. Now I'm thinking of the hilarity that is looping 5B>5BB off a 5B starter. 5B>5BB>5A>5B>5BB>5A>5B>5BB>5A...Skip 5A if you hit a croucher. Probably not very practical, but the mental image is funky.
  18. Brainstorming time if nobody minds. So I have been checking Azrael's frame data a little more, hoping there is something that could in theory work people are not using yet, and even though we already know 5BB is a really cool kid I don't think its being used to its full potential yet. We always see it going directly into the rekka series, but if I'm correct 5BB is actually +8 on hit. In theory we should be capable of linking 5A from it as long hitstun decay is not any less than -2. Now, I might be wrong. I am just going off the frame data that says 5BB is +5 and that it has 3 more hitstun than blockstun. Considering Azrael is a links character it makes sense though. This could be used to slightly boost mid-screen damage and get marks by doing something along the lines of 5A>5B>5BB>5A>5B>2C>6D\3C. Close to the corner we can also use it for easy hit confirmable juggles such as 5A>5B>5BB>5A>5B>2C>2B>Rekkas>Stuff. It will probably lower total damage a bit because it burns through the timer and 5A doesn't exactly got the most sexy proration, but its there. Any other potential links you guys might have 'found' while brainstorming that could be useful?
  19. We can still be proud of him, even though we just barely missed top place. BLESS THE ANGEL OF DEATH BY JACKET BITCH SLAPPING.
  20. Better than bad doesn't equals good, sadly. Specially in a game with weak characters like Blazblue, at least when compared to other fighters.
  21. If it's a CH then waiting for 5B's recovery to end then going for dash 5B works, but outside of that, yeah, SOL.
  22. Don't think I ever agreed with someone as much I'm agreeing with here.
  23. The case in EX IMO is that he was simply rewarded a lot for his bad mixups. 6B went into 3K to 4K meterless depending on the screen position but it was still a terrible overhead, so on the rare times it did hit everyone went "WOW SO MUCH DAMAGE THIS IS STUPID", so while it was rough for us, we did get a lot out of it, so it was still worth going for it every now and then. Like you(Crossfire) said, an overhead simply ain't gonna cut it as a mixup by this point. At least not our overhead. Burning meter with D DP crossups, crazy GH RCs and god knows what else is probably going to be our go to mixup from now on. Might throw out the random 6B every now and then since it still gives good reward on the corner(Not gonna complain over almost 4K with decent meter gain by CP standards).
  24. I think that is from where we developed shit like Blocked Hells Fang>ID. The tools were definitely not meant to be used like that, but there is the rare time it does works and you get something out of it. If you only use ID when you got meter(which is probably how it was intended to be used) then, while it does its job, it also becomes a very limited tool(Aka it send us back to how I think the blocked Hells Fang>ID punish gimmick was created). Using it in ways not intended to be used is basically like thinking outside of the box. Sure, that is basically a must with every character, but in Ragna's case it is specially rewarding to do since he is so simple once you get down to it. That is just my opinion though.
