  8. 5c > Gurren is usually what I do when I use it. I use it on occasion, but I find the timing to be tricky. I haven't labbed it very much though. Timed correctly, it should catch rolls, I'm pretty sure...
  9. /hmm i have no idea how that happened. problems http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IANQvCZjPvo this is the proper video and shows more ideal timing than the one above. this shows the 5c otg 2c variant, but the parts generally that you delay are the first j.B and the first j.2a (only slightly for this one.) You can also delay the followup j.B and j.A quite a bit, but it isn't required for the j.A > 2c variation of the combo. All of these delays factor into getting the 5c to not whiff, however. Other than that, no delays. It's worth noting that the hop is in these combos not only for increased corner push but because if you do the first 2c before they finish falling from the Renka(1), it can mess up the spacing. If you did not hop, hitting the 2c without waiting can compromise the spacing of the combo. tl;dr the first j.B and j.2a need to be delayed for the 2c combo; once you figure it out it's not very strict

  11. 2b > 5a > j.2a > Stuff. Continue j.2c loop for meterless, Tsubaki or Hotaru for meter.
  12. Sadly, there is the new point of we don't want another pktzn repeat in our combo thread. I'd hope it not happen but it's something to consider! Either way, I'd be more than happy to do the recordings and I will have plenty of energy and excitement to do so with come CP release.

  17. I messed with it with CP changes in mind. He probably can't do the same Enma combo, but IIRC, in terms of the parry and kishuu frame data allowing for such things to happen, it doesn't necessarily mean that meaty mids/lows will be more plausible in CP than they already are because 2D will still be frame 1. 2D has elevated reward for the Hakumen in the corner for obvious reasons. It depends on how you handle your oki whether or not parrying it is really worth it for the Hakumen; I know parrying Plat's bubble on wakeup isn't always useful if they're expecting you to do so as it can create awkward situations for the Hakumen. In a lot of JP vids, high level players will typically just IB the bubble and then act due to parry attack whiffing taking too long. There's always "Yeah well I'm just going to parry again after my parry whiff is over," but it's a gamble and one that isn't really worth it as far as risk reward. It would be right to assume that it will be even less worth it due to not being able to combo easily off parries in CP. as far as dumb video titles: think again

Does anyone have a slow-moving projectile (such as Platinum's bubbles) that also has a throw-invuln move?

  24. i am not coming out to the beatup today. i'm having medical problems that nearly caused my death last night and i do not need to be driving (also i fucking hate cyclists forever now.)
