  2. I figured that was the case because you still had a chain move left. I'm trying to get better at noticing those, but Hazama's well Hazama and nothing ever goes as planned.
  3. I think the funnest moment of the night was that Lambda jump dash forward and j.B hit on Hazama while he was in the air to get the win. For a moment there I felt like I was countering a Hazama, then I lost and felt sad again. GGs Ctrl, badlime, Goldchampion, xerocool, notspish, chickzama, nejimetroid, nemesis, bafflingamoeba, dooby, mAc, and anyone else I may have forgotten. There is much for me to learn with my Lambda
  4. Well, I think depending on the one used, she can land 236C after. If they ground bounce, it seems like it could be possible at least.
  5. What players aren't utilizing enough is Luna mode gravity, which does 960 damage and has a p2 of 99. Truthfully, you can probably skimp out on the CT, save the meter, and get a 3k-4k with gravity.
  6. Well she does a good amount of damage off her overheads now, but I don't really foresee her doing 10k in an easy manner like Mu and Hakumen can. Though she doesn't necessarily need to do incredible amounts of damage because part of her gameplan is to whittle away at your health and be annoying the other part is to corner you. Also, that 5k 4B she does will do slightly more from a j.B starter since it has higher p1 and if by some miracle she lands a 6B starter, it'll eclipse 6k without Calamity Ender(proved she's in Luna mode because 3C p2 in dia is atrocious). Everyone except Azrael it seems.
  7. Kind of strange but I don't get hate-mail too often when I fight Elizabeth. It's really rare that I lose to her, and the ones that I do defeat keep challenging me, gotta admire the Elizabeth determination. I can see Elizabeth being OP against casual's and newer players though. I've played against some really good Elizabeth's though and they're pretty scary. I feel bad every time I win against them because I hardly believe I deserve it lol.
  8. I think Nemesis has found a new way to get swag troll combos in. I'm jealous. I wouldn't be surprised if Mu can Astral Heat in the middle of that combo lol.
  9. Well, since you can cancel OD from many things, I'm sure Mu will find time to do it and place a stein. It looks like once you get one explosion down, you can do the rest for the loop and end with some distortion drives. Looks like it can vary a lot, should be fun to see how it evolves. Should be interesting to see how much it can do off a FC.
  10. She can drop a stein point blank as oki. People sometimes get hit by it. If that combo works so easy midscreen, I can see it working in the corner as well. Besides, it looks like it has the potential to start from a high/low normal, damage probably won't be as high though.
  11. Cool combos man and awesome translations as always. Here's the combo I'm curious about with Luna mode starter 4B>2DD>CT>Cavalier>A Gravity>6A>Crescent>6A>6C>Sickle>Spike>5C>Supra, ~5005 damage with all hits of 5C. For that combo can you do something like ~A gravity > 6A > 5C > 2C > crescent > 6A > 5C > 6C > sickle > spike > 5C > supra. I'm assuming that the proration won't allow for supra knockdown ender, but I was wondering if adding more 5C and 2C would up the damage much.
  12. I'm considering updating this or making a new thread a month or so after BBCP releases on consoles, if no one else volunteers. Honestly, I think some of the information could prove useful to future Nu players.
  13. She does look complicated. Though I think she kind of needed it. Her style of zoning was really really simple compared to Rachel's or I guess Mu's. Being able to change your playstyle on the fly seems like a good way to add complexity to it. Hype Nu match ups for me will be Hakumen, Carl, Hazama, and Azrael. I've always liked playing against Hakumen (I think because of mAc syndrome) and Hazama has become a favorite match up of mine. I'm really interested in Azrael fights though. Seems like it would be really interesting to outzone him and is probably more similar to facing Hakumen than anything, considering the one mistake = big damage kind of feel.
  14. The recovery on FL seems really fast, so you might be able to do some nice frame traps with it. The part I'm finding difficult to wrap my head around is getting into Luna mode easily so you can do better damage. Sickle storm is shorter than I expected, so I'm not sure if empty jumps will work anymore.

  16. If they jump and do cross up during oki, there's usually a gap where you can DP or roll through. Oki > mixup doesn't really leave a gap though, so you have to guess. I don't really have problems with AoA, though I never use it as Mitsuru. My button layout is similar to yours Moy, except I don't have an R3.
  17. It's not so bad. It's like any fighting game. One mistake and you're dead. Think of it like that. If you get hit once by droit, you're done. But if I get hit by your fan, I just shake it off. Sounds pretty good to me
  18. I'm not sure health even matters. I mean, the combo did 9k damage, you're still guaranteed at least 6k damage or so with a decent amount of OD. It seems like it could be a useful thing to have on a final round, provided they're near the corner.
  19. I believe you're referring to 4B. That move owns a lot of people. That and her 2F overheads. Match-up wise, it's easy for Yukiko to our zone Mitsuru, however if you're kind of not zoning her you lose pretty much. I'm not even sure if Yukiko has a legit sweep that goes under coup droit like several people in the game. Anyways, I just wanted to say GGs to Psykotik94, it was fun playing against an Aigis. Don't really get to play again many and I rarely play her anymore. Though I probably should to at least remember what she can do. Oh and that random IK on wake-up was too good. Kinda thought your AoA would recover in time.
  20. It was off a TK Tsubaki, so this one is a little bit special than the previous ones because it's fairly practical, considering most people get hit by it. I think it's 15F start up + jump start-up, fairly fast imo. Says the guy who relies on that move more than any Hakumen I know! Suffice it to say, every Hakumen plays like mAc to me. Never know man. Sometimes when you're really really really in the zone, you can react to it. Happens to me every 1000 games or so. Good odds imo.
  21. Projectiles being lv2 for Luna form sounds nice and could help for certain match ups, I think mostly of Litchi match up since it can pierces through her staff instead of clashing. It sounds promising because OD mode will also use the lv2 projectiles, Nu's OD mode can literally make it impossible for anyone to stop her during the duration. Plus, Luna mode also counters Dia mode, so mirror match ups will be very different. I've never really clashed with any of Hazama's drives, piercing through Bang's nails could be useful. Though it sucks that 214D can't go full screen in Luna mode, now I understand why. Also good news on OD proration. It just sounds better every day.

  23. Well, it's better to see the video evidence as opposed to what's on paper. You never know.
  24. I suppose that's evidence enough that you won't be attempting neutral game while in Luna mode.
  25. I might play this game sometime this week. It's really hard to convince myself to actually do it though.
