Makes me wonder if it's actually possible for a Mitsuru to do this versus a Liz. Only thing I can think of is maybe on Mitsuru's wake-up and she assumes you're going to roll through bufudyne so she does Myriad instead.
-
My point being, the Mori won't reach or hit Mitsuru if you decide to do that after Mind Crush. And if it doesn't reach, Liz is open. Besides, she can feasibly do 5B, since she's airborne during it, to avoid the super grab as it's not the same as Kanji's super grab. I only saw it as a reasonable thing to do if Mitsuru did droit and she ended it right in front of you, instead of further away where she can't be punished easily.

XBL ONLINE RANBATS #4 - This time with feeling! - 9/28/12 (Friday)

Those 1$ new account Xbox Live Gold can get you pretty far. -
Oki, resets, zoning, defense, superior offense, superior mix-up, momentum, I don't think Aigis needs more than that. Combo-wise, her basic megido combos are enough to get you pretty far. The relaunch combos are fun though.

Shame, I found a CV with her 5D corner combos and they look pretty advanced. I'm guessing I'll only see them consistently in the 750+ psr range for Elizabeths. Only one actually attempted the AoA > OMC > Mori ender, but dropped the combo. Thanks for the infos.

How much damage does that do roughly?
-
If you're ever interested in playing against a Mitsuru, I'm down.

Does anyone happen to know Elizabeth's best combo in the corner off a 5D? The combo thread doesn't really help and I can't seem to find any videos that I've played against good Liz's that actually do hefty amounts from it. Right now I'm assuming that Elizabeth has the highest chance to do 2C in the corner if she wants damage (which seems to be the case every time). I don't really want to auto-pilot my mentality when playing against her, so I was curious about it.

Mitsuru's 4B owns that. If she knows you're doing 5A to get out of pressure, she can simply 4B and it'll be on to round 2. That doesn't work that well because Mitsuru can control the distance she goes with droit. If she decides to be in your face when she ends droit, then that's the only way I'd see it working(droit is -4 or so on block if I recall). 5C > 2C is gapless, you're doing it too slow. After the 2C is over however, she can droit through it and be in your face almost instantly.

Ah thanks for the tip, been trying to incorporate SB droit into combos more frequently than droit B counter hit starters. It even works off 5B, increasing the damage potential quite a bit. You can barely do it from midscreen, 5B seems a bit easier for the second sweep to connect, but it worked with 5A started when I tried it. Getting the second droit to connect seems a bit tricky though. For the corner, doing sweep > droit sb > sweep > droit B from 5B starter seems like an alternative to j.B > j.C > bufula in the FC combo. The damage is roughly the same, except you spend 25 meter.

Netplay Mitsuru 1 Netplay Mitsuru 2 Netplay Mitsuru 3 Netplay Mitsuru 4 featuring Shuuto I grabbed these videos from the Replay Board on PSN. None of the Mitsuru players are me, but I plan to upload some videos of myself at some point. These are mostly for reference and the skill levels are varying, there are some really good Mitsurus in the videos.

There is no risk rather she charges it or not. If she charges it and you do 5A and cancel it into bufudyne for instance, what can she do about it? If she doesn't charge it same thing. Bufudyne has invincible start-up, which means her DP basically whiffs, so she can't do anything about it. Same if you DP. Also if you really don't want to DP, or Bufudyne, or IK, just OMC that should work.
-
Yes, it's a good tool. I tend to do 2B > SB megido if I have the meter. You can be as aggressive as you want when not in Orgia mode. Aigis has quick normals, so she can beat out a lot of things. When not in Orgia mode it's up to you how you want to play. Being defensive is fine if they're not doing anything to stop you. At all times, you'll want to play at Aigis's pace, you also have to play defensively against some characters, like Kanji for instance.
-
She's fairly straight forward. You only need to know her auto-combo and cancel into red axe to win rounds easily. Not saying she's the easiest in the game, but she is a good character to start with.
-
Hmm, is slab DP like Lab DP, where you can mash your own DP on reaction to beat hers? Like say if you do 5A and slab does DP, can you DP in the middle of 5A recovery? I know you can do that on Lab DP at least. You can even super or IK haha.

Only Mitsuru's I know are Tloccpu and Karune7. Tloccpu is really good so I say he's the best I know of. He's west coast though (at least I think so). I need to get my Mitsuru better. GGs to the guys who joined my room. Eevee if you're around, I noticed you were in my room. We should get a game going sometime. Kind of sucks I haven't played many DL guys :P
-
Elizabeth's 5C > 2C is gapless. Well you can jump after the 5C to avoid the 2C, but you can't droit right after the 5C if she does 2C immediately after. If you want to get in, wait for the 2C and droit through that. She can only cancel into specials after it, and they're all slow start-up compared to droit. Also if Liz does j.B, you can easily time a droit A to hit her and avoid the j.B. 5C > 2C > 5C has gaps in it. It's only troublesome in netplay, where it becomes infinite for some reason.
-
5B, best normal ever made. I'm still in my Lambda habits even though I main Mitsuru. Woo, I'm trying to zone with her now haha. Well it's not that bad, just can't really get used to being aggressive enough yet, and there's gaps in my pressure which is something you don't want as Mitsuru. got a room up if anyone's interested: title = fun.
-
All I do is react to what she does and you've got a free in. It's easy to break Thanatos. Once you're in all you need to do is bait a DP and she's dead. Watch out for the corner though. I have more trouble with Chie than anything. Basically all I've been doing is coup B full charge, pokes, that sorta thing. Then the meteors fall and I end up losing. Aigis is okay, though I haven't fought any really stellar ones yet. Yosuke is really annoying. Only thing I know about that match-up is air throw when he attempts moonsault.
-
Mitsuru mirrors man. Such a pain. Though the best are Liz vs Liz, totally DBZ right there :P
-
I'm guessing you mean throwing out random Megidos and no Agis. If that's the case, it's not completely bad to do since the move isn't horrible on block. And if you're lucky you'll get a random hit. Which happens quite a lot :P Mitsuru is cool day one. But fighting against people who understand her gameplan makes her pretty tough to use. Basically, you have to force them to push a button in most circumstances, so you can nab them FC hits. Most of my damage comes from sweep feints into grab or j.B. 2F overheads
-
Yah, I still need more exp against Naoto. They're annoying as ever. I had fun. Those IKs. Room still up if people want to join

Anyone want to play some games? Got a room open titled "fun." Need more mitsuru exp. East Coast.
