  1. I feel your pain.
  2. "5C has fc properties" I'm interested in seeing what this will bring to the table. Bah and 5C still doesn't auto correct. "An OD Calamity ender improves damage by quite a bit." That sounds really cool.
  3. GGs to the guys who joined my room. Didn't expect so many good players to be on so early. GGs to Astrema, LostSoul, Ishuyana, BearsAreScary, and anyone I missed who happened to join and watched a Mitsuru and Aigis basically own everyone. Was fun. If only I could find this much enjoyment on P4A everyday.
  4. Well, I didn't say she "does no damage" I was saying her damage isn't as incredible as it was in CT and her heat regeneration isn't the same either. In CT she could get damage easy as well as heat, which gave her a lot of options. The Nu now doesn't have the same damage, so her damage is "poor" by comparison. Besides, I was referring to Dia-forma.
  5. Oh I see, I didn't notice the halo in the portion, that really throws me off. So maybe 214D is slightly faster(or better) in Luna forma? About that 623C combo, it looked like it might have been possible to do [v]623C > lift > dashing 2DD > gravity > stuff, to maximize the damage. The untech on supra seems fairly high so it might work. I can't say it's worth it damage wise, but it would do a lot of corner carry at the expensive of gravity, assuming that on hit you have to wait the full duration for it to recover. Seems to me that Nu will play somewhat similar to Aigis, but the majority of her damage will come from mode change combos.
  6. Having a DP never stopped anyone from dying easily in P4U, it's the same here. Giving her a DP just makes people respect her slightly more, instead of mindlessly auto-piloting their pressure until she has 50 meter. I don't think it's that GREAT. Sure she has the parsers and a DP, but that's not going to save her as it did in CT. In CT her damage potential was incredible. She had to do little work to gain great damage and she gained heat at a ridiculous rate. Her damage in Nu mode is poor at best and she doesn't gain incredible heat for easy routes into rapid cancel combos. The one thing I do feel bad for, specifically for Tager players, is that her 5DD > 4DD links now. That felt like a troll move back in the day and now it's back. But Tager has improved greatly since then, so I don't think it's even close to bad as it was then.
  7. I remember in that translation thing you linked that most players said that you shouldn't end a combo in Lambda form, I suppose that would be the reason why. Nu is much better on the defense than Lambda is because she has a fairly decent DP and she can escape the corner easier. It's also possible the start up on her drives are faster by a few frames. And I may be seeing this wrong, but it looks like 214D has a faster start-up, so 214D~C should be even faster, so Nu mode seems ideal if you're either trying to lame it out with the superior zoning, or keep your opponent wary of your DP. Cool thing though, not sure if Supra being FC is Nu or Lambda specific, but it can combo easily for a nice amount of damage. It's probably safe to assume that Nu Supra can't be used in combos whereas Lambda's can. A link I would have been interested in seeing is if supra > mode change > 2DD > gravity, works. The gravity for Nu and Lambda are different. I don't think you can combo easily from Nu's but I could be wrong.
  8. My sentiments exactly.
  9. Yeah same, seems a bit more yandere than before.
  10. You are the best. Don't let anyone tell you different. Edit: 5DD > 4DD > 236C actually works in OD mode that looks cool. So 236B in Lambda mode doesn't knockback anymore, it spins in place, that's cool. I liked the combo there, though I wonder how much better you can make it. 3C in Nu mode kicks up fairly high, though I doubt you can do anything more than 3C > mode change > 6A, curious if gravity links. The combo starter was 2B > 3C, I figured doing 2B > 2C > 5C > 3C > mode change > 6A > j.C > j.2C > land > 2DD > air stuff would be better. I saw that Supra actually beat out Ragna's new move thing, it looked like it did have invincibility since it beat it out, so can we assume it's a DP now? Overall Nu looks like she plays much faster than Lambda, or it could be just me. Also I take back what I said about the usefulness of OD. It could have some potential in a practical sense.
  11. From what I remember, the 4 swords could hit consistently midscreen, not in the corner though. And I'm not sure if 2 DD in OD would be possible midscreen because of how far it pushes the opponent back and toward the corner. If it's in the corner, maybe one or two will hit, the damage won't be that much though. I just remember, from CS1 to CSE, that the proration values for Unlimited Nu's moves were fairly bad. The only move that was good on proration and repeat was j.214D, so her unlimited version did less damage than Lambda a lot of the time. I should probably pop in BB to remember myself of these values and things. I agree though, that 2 DD OD doing 8k easy would be way too powerful. I was just reading how some characters OD could net them some good damage, so I was curious if Nu's beefed Calamity would help with that. If it is 960 min though, I wonder now if the ender will be useful as an ender or more for a combo extender.
  12. It kind of has to do more damage minimum than non-OD Calamity, otherwise I'm starting to doubt the usefulness of OD. Doesn't have to be incredible. Though, if it is not used like Calamity ender in that regard, it could be used mid-combo if the p2 values are slightly higher than the non-OD version. Also, I'm not sure but was that Unlimited Nu Calamity updated to the 40% damage minimum Lambda got? Cuz I remember they left the unlimited characters outdated with the changes to CS2. So if it's doing 20% instead of 40%, I could live with it doing double to match Lambda's new values. I haven't played Unlimited Nu much though.
  13. The implications of OD Calamity with 4 swords dropping has me interested. I mean, only if each blade has a minimum 1040 damage. If not, it should still deal a sizable amount of damage, if the opponent is properly spaced.
  14. Well, if you look at the nature of his fighting style, I can see it that way. His drill destroys barrier and the chip is insane. Still, I want to see some practical high-damage combos from him.
  15. Sounds like Amane has Nu/Lambda/Mu health values. If that's what he means.
  16. There's something off about that poster, but I'm not sure what.
  17. Looks like Lambda/Nu AH throw range to me. Looks like I'll be whiffing that more often.
  18. Am I the only one who loves looking at that chip damage? Good vid btw.
  19. That's like a two for one special. You get a fabulous strut and you do a good deal more damage. I guess three for one, if you consider the implications of an Amane running toward you.
  20. I have this sneaking suspicious that that combo was not optimized. I feel that it could do much more!
  21. The starter looked like a dive kick type of move, like Rachel's top. We can only hope that it is ALL block haha. That would be the most punishing overhead otherwise. Aww.
  22. I wonder if that timer effects it if the starter is a special. Well, maybe that depends on the button pressed to use the special, like Nu's 236B would have less combo time than 236C. Oh you. I have this odd feeling that his astral may refer to that series.
  23. I will missed my 20 second Lambda fatal counter corner combos. I think the world needed more of those.
  24. Her combos are very stylish. I'll play her just for that.
  25. That's some legit Izayoi play. Must have been score attack. Thanks for the link.
