  2. Yo Hex, I'll add the combo I've been using quite often in the lower levels of play. AoA~C > 236CD > 214A > 236C~ does about 4k damage, easy to do and its mad flashy. Connecting that fifty meter 214A is pretty fun. I only use it because people mash on wake-up so I can't really mix-up, and it's EASY. I'll probably upload it to youtube eventually.
  3. Elizabeth and those Anti-burst and Anti-DP mechanics. Yeah, long range normals can stop the whole DP spamming, and you can also bait it pretty easily at the lower levels. Once they learn they can eat a 5k+ damage combo of it, it'll stop. I just need to get better with Aigis before I can have such skill! I think you can safe jump Kanji's if you mean simply jumping up and doing an overhead. But crossing over it, you won't be able to do that, and Kanji's spam the crap outta it cuz it adds Shock status. The DPs to worry about are Aki and Yu's, since they're air unblockable. Overall, the game is fun. The irony is, I'm not getting mad at any of the losses, I'm more mad about how I can never complete combos. Learning happens every other game for me haha.
  4. The explosive stays on you for a second, so if you burst it will go off. It's not an immediate damage thing, it's delayed. You can OMC the grab and the explosive will go off later on its own.
  5. Yes, that makes sense. The Lambda combo takes 24 seconds to complete, whereas the Aigis one, which does roughly the same amount of damage comparison wise, takes 11 seconds to complete. If I compared the notation for Lambda versus Aigis, Aigis combos are only about 6 or 7 moves long, whereas Lambda has 17 or so. The game doesn't have huge ass combos like Blazblue, they just do a lot of damage depending on the character and punish. I think most fighting games make it so you can do a lot of damage if your opponent makes a mistake. Just for fun I'll do the notation for Aigis compared to Lambda. Aigis: FC 214AB, one more burst, 2C, j.C, j.C, 236CD, 214A, 236C, all out attack, 236236D, 214214C Lambda: FC 214A > Gold Burst x 2 > 236C > 4B > 632146D > 5C[1] > 6C > 236D > 214D~C > 214D > 632146D > 6A > 2147D > 6A > 2147D > 6A > 2147D > 6A > 2C > j.DD > j.2DD > jc > j.2DD > j.DD > 632146D Only Carl clone is S.Lab. Not many persona work in tandem with their character. For instance, the persona is used like a normal move instead of like a doll in that. Aigis doesn't really use her persona outside of stalling for time and in combos. Depends on the character.
  6. Overall, the speed is a big difference I feel. Because the game feels fast, it's much more entertaining for me to watch. Extend feels slow by comparison. If you want a time-based comparison Aigis combo time vs Lambda combo time you can easily tell the pace of the game based on that. So I can see where people are coming from when they say executions are tighter. The games does have 50% health combos, that's basically Aigis' gameplan, since a successful hit confirm is half the opponent's life. Also, check out Kanji, Mitsuru, Labrys, and Akihiko, they have plenty as well but can't get it as easily as Aigis can. For now, P4A is a good game and I enjoy it, might be awhile before I get interested in Blazblue again.
  7. The irony of the day, Orgia Mode made me get hit by Naoto's IK twice. Once I figure out how to defeat 5B/j.B, I'll win this match-up! GGs to errbody I played. Making progress slowly but surely.
  8. Yes. No problem. Nearly every Aigis I've seen videos of does it, can't believe I missed it until now.
  9. I don't think sweep is spacing dependent for the combo to work. When I did the sweep > j.B > j.C, I stopped moving and jumped to connect the j.C two hits. If you're having problems with sweep > j.B, input j.B literally as soon as sweep hits or at the same time, that's how I normally get it.
  10. Yeah, I was just grinding training mode, or either sleep at the time. Didn't bother disbanding the room. My goal to complete a combo will come true someday. On XBL, my Lambda has 666 PSR. I didn't have the heart in me to play another ranked match, cuz that's just too good! GGs to the few that played me earlier today. Need to work on that Aigis everything haha.
  11. Interesting discovery for those having trouble with double megido combos in the corner. If you jump a few frames after megido SB hits, you don't have to worry about guessing which side to 214A, Aigis will drop down in the direction she jumped and you can easily 214A.
  12. FCx2 214AB > OMB > 2C > j.C > sj.C > 236CD > 214A > 236C > AoA > 236236D > 214214C~~Does 8503 damage and consumes 150 SP.
  13. Thanks for the tip Trig. I couldn't figure out how to do this other combo I was working on due to the height. Aigis Combo 12 @Hex, I can't add the notations in the description because it says invalid characters for it. Putting out a long string of words would be more confusing than helpful in that regard. I could change the hyperlink for the combo notations though, kind of like how I did for Lambda combos.
  14. I'll get on it soon. You can also do that combo with 2C as well, does more damage, I just didn't feel like redoing it.

  17. Yukiko's damage isn't as great as Lambda's was, but she does have something that Lambda doesn't, which is the deadzone in her projectiles and a DP. Though DPs half the time are asking to be punished. Though Yukiko does have that guessing game, probably a harder one since her persona can be broken quite easily if you don't do it right. Aigis on the other hand, is more like a rushdown Lambda. The tools are there, even the quick overhead and damage potential, so they're not that far off. But returning to your zoning game won't really happen with Aigis, since her zoning tools are meant to stall instead of doing actual damage.
  18. Added it in. Sorry for the delay.
  19. GGs to everyone I played. My training regime to get better with Aigis is really paying dividends. Another week and I might start winning consistently. If anyone is interested in games in ps3, I normally have a room open titled "fun." Though I could be doing a bunch of training mode stuffs, so send me a message.
  20. Too bad she plays nothing like Lambda. Of all the matches I've had, it's safe to say Aigis' most important combos are mode change ones, otherwise you'll waste orgia meter simply getting to the person. Getting used to it is really tough. Gonna have to grind through it for another day or two, only way I'll ever remember to use it.
  21. Does anyone know if, while you're in Orgia mode, sweep > bc jb > j.c > sweep > bc j.b > j.c > sweep > etc, has any gaps? The moves basically cancel into the other so I was curious.
  22. You're just too epic man.
  23. I cannot give up! I invested too many spike chasers and hate mails to give up now. Scissor boots 4 lyfe.
  24. I hope that's true. Give me that hope man, I need it.
  25. The most it can do is 520 charged.
