Happens to me as well, though it's mostly my latency. Though my level does scare some people off or probably my PSR /shrug. So I'm lucky to actually get a game in, in most cases. A lot of times I'm just kicked from every room I join and then people tank on my player rep. But what can I say, I live to learn Lambda. To all of those I played today, sorry for the baddie bad lag. I thought maybe, just maybe, my latency would be good on a Monday, but dorms are never kind to me. @Srgsheetz(sp?) Not sure if you kicked me because of the lag or because you were salty, but GG. I kind of wanted that astral in that first game. I need to remind myself never to style. I'm not Omniscythe. @iora, yeah I went on a tangent there, but anyways, you can add me if you like. You're EC and I play frequently (mostly in training mode lawlz).

Okay so I was playing around with this combo and I was curious which variation of the combo would you guys consider as optimal. I have five different versions of it, I'll explain a bit down below. All of these assume the opponent is in the corner. Mid-screen you'll probably have to do 2147D > 6A > 6C after the gravity seed. The second and fourth combos should be doable in extend with slightly less damage. But yeah, all of these are the same combo with slight variations after you do 214D~C > 214D > 214A > 236C, however which of these would be considered optimal is my question. The particulars should be that it pertains to damage output, heat generated, and ease of use (the bottom two are tricky). Also, let's assume Lambda is broad enough that [CH] 214D~C happened frequently and the opponent is usually in the corner. Probably not a "simple" question, but I wanted a better understanding of optimal aside from "does the most damage."

Oh, so essentially it'll make it so Lambda can say do a FC Calamity, as a reversal for instance, and dash under them to position them into the corner to make a better combo? Can she do Calamity, non FC, and actually make a combo off it now?

Do the changes to Calamity Sword's untech time change anything? 100 to 164 seems like a huge deal but I wonder.

Awesome stuff. Why you troll that Tager for lol? Anyways, surprised you did so well against valk and carl but not so hot against platinum. But it is Xie we're talking about and he has that mad mix-up, oki, shenanigans. I can't wait to see! :D

I had a run in with Cheeto McVicks today. I don't think he liked my Lambda much. Which is ironic, considering he's Bang xD That aside, I can't readily remember who else I played today, but GGs friends. Lambda and the crouch plate shall return for Extend.

Yeah, complaining about counters at this stage is like complaining about air throws (courtesy goes to Supervillain on that one). Bang also has counters, sorta, but people respect them because FRKZ is a pain to deal with. Gotta do the same with Hakumen. I just got out of a few matches with Nanagatsu and all he did was spam counter, so I respected it by throwing. Gotta know your game plan. That aside, I played like fifty games today so good games to everyone who played against me. BGs to my internet, or whatever, seriously, next time remind me never to go for an astral when a lag spike happens. I did 236A > 222D for the astral and lag caused the game not to interpret the 236A and instead I just did my astral in place. Man, I so woulda won that game too.

Tricky stuff. Since I've been practicing that 2147D~C into dash j.B, I've forgotten how to simply drop to the ground and go for 3C low lol. Sev, do you happen to upload any replays of your games? I'm kind of curious how you play since Evo.

I don't remember being in a room with any ShelledMenace's recently, though if you use another gamer tag it could be possible. Recently more Hakuman(men?) have been showing up, I think in anticipation of their high-tierness. It's worse when you join those rooms with Expert tagged, find out the host is a Tager, immediate kick when you perfectly zone him. So, in your case, because you exist as a Tao. In any case, I need to play your Tao some more Xdest. It's actually an interesting match-up, despite my overall hatred of it. It's kind of funny, but I played Tsunna for like an hour last week, now I'm much better against Bangs because of it. It's fun playing good players :D

All the cool Hakuman(is the plural of hakuman, hakumen?)'s burst twice in the air during Lambda's air bnbs. You should take note of that mAc. Happened twice to me today. It's really like a slap in the face to those bursts that guy saved. Makes ya wonder if there's a nice haven for bursts to go when they've been used poorly.

Best option if someone breaks your air throw is to just dash away. I really don't know why you would be using j.C in that MU, I've never used it personally, but don't really see the need to when Lambda has quite a few capable anti-airs. Just know, 5D is really good when used properly. Tsubaki doesn't have a projectile and her way of getting in can be stuffed easily with a drive ability. So if you space well, you shouldn't have problems. Also, if you're stuck in a blockstring, barrier blocking can help, as well as instant blocking. Tsubaki's normals have short range so she can whiff on occasion with barrier.

That's why I try to do the j.B > 4B combo because j.B has a P1 90 and 4B has a 65 P1, so you'll get a really damaging combo if it's done right. @Overheat, I can't seem to do j.B > j.C, after I do the 2147D~C into a forward dash mixup. Lambda doesn't finish the animation for j.C before hitting the ground. I did the testing on a crouching opponent, so that may be the reason since I think it's done usually if they're standing.

Oh I see. That makes a lot of sense. I was doing it with just j.B and the 4B landing wouldn't combo into sometimes, so I'd have to delay the j.B a frame or two for it to connect. But if you do j.B > j.C into the combo I mentioned, I'm not sure if it will be 4k anymore. I'll have to test and see. Oh and I think I messed up what I meant, 5A hitting crouchers not being a low attack. My bad for the mistake lol.

Have you tried 2147D~C > IAD forward > j.B > 4B? Does about 4k damage off a 50/50 mixup. I agree with the online stuff. It get's really discouraging all the time with lag and whatnot. I feel I'm several times faster with Lambda offline with dashes, spacing, positioning, that sort of thing. Online, if I can't dash easily, because of lag, I lose the will to play. I should try to find a buddy at UNC-Charlotte to play. We could have a grand old time :D I think the most mortifying moments in online history is when a Tager does 720 and you know it's coming, but the game doesn't react to your action of jumping to avoid it so you eat the thing. Made me sad. On a side note, Lambda's mix up is good she just lacks some tools, such as a DP, a cross-up, and faster normals/pokes. 5A hitting low would be fun. Cool thing about Lambda is that she can augment her mix up with good zoning, so it's pretty fun when you do it successfully. 4B is just too godlike.

Just found some slight errors. - 5C 1-8 P2 should be 99 to 98 instead of 90 to 98. - 236B P2 should be 70 to 80 instead of 75 to 80. -236B damage should be 1300 instead of 1250 (saw on a wiki that it was 1300 dmg now, could be wrong). Those are the only errors I found.

If anyone has extend can you check this combo out for me. [CH]214D~C > 236C > 5C > 6C > 236D > 214D~C > 214D > 2DD > j.dd > j.2dd > dj > j.dd > j.2dd > 214d. I'm thinking you might need to replace that 2DD with 6C then 6DD and air stuff. Also, how much damage it does if it works too :D
