Trying to frametrap Tager generally ends in me being super'd for 5620 damage. XD I go for the mixup I did because it keeps me from being grabbed too easily, but I should have gone more more crossover/ambiguous crossover mixup. During our later matches I became more reckless and that's what lost me the match. If I had kept my cool and kept going for pokes rather than balls deep with that attempted j.A I might've actually won. Either way, you are a fantastic Tager player and I'd love to fight you again some time. I am perfectly okay with you having been the one to eliminate me from loser's. Yeah I thought we'd have 4 setups for BB... the lack of setups and the staff yelling at us for crowding the area made me sad. I mean, you stick close to 40 people around 2 setups... what the fuck did they think was going to happen? By the way, where are you from? I'd like to play you on PSN some time, but I'm moving to Cali, so if you're from the Florida area I probably won't be able to have a lagless match with you.

I have trouble doing IAD j.236D reliably. I did it during a tournament and it worked great, and I do it so little that it's almost a free combo every time I do use it. Yeah 6B rapid tactics are something I'm aware of, but don't use a whole lot. I probably should. There's a lot of shit I need to work into my pressure, but it's taking a while to get accustomed to.

But you know what? Aside from that attempted match with Thai, I think it was worth it. I had the hypest fucking match ever with HQ, and that man showed me that Tager can be legit. I don't think I've ever seen another Tager with tech-trap resets. Speaking of resets, I pulled one off in a tournament match. Feels good man.

Your Tager is beast with those tech-traps and how well you played that matchup. I have never had that much fun playing a Tager match, and I'm sad that I have no idea who you are or where you came from. Also: Jebailey, as much as I hated that fucked-up bracket, I enjoyed the event. I would not hesitate to go to another CEO if it is within my power. I'll still have a little trouble with some stuff, but for the most part anything /should/ work. It's more than likely on our connection that I just got nervous and fucked up.

Those strange combos are probably either because I haven't memorized the optimal combo yet, or because I used 214D. 6\ CH isn't something I get very often, so I haven't really had enough chances to start confirming it yet. I also am not sure I've memorized the proper combo for that yet. Also yes on the last two things. I just gotta try harder at both if those.

Those 214Ds: I do them for a couple reasons. First, if I see someone recklessly running back in after a green burst. Second, after I jump in the air in order to escape the corner. I think you like, jumped in front of that a few times. XD The random 214Ds after a blocked 5D are completely retarded and it's a bad habit I need to replace with 236D or something else instead. Yeah on the gatling, but I'm afraid to let 2C recover, so aside from a 6D, I don't have much to cancel it into unless I want to end my pressure. As far as the j.2C>j.C string yeah I'm predictable with that. I'm thinking of ways to break that habit, and I caught someone recently with a hilarious Jump>land 2B recently. I might try to do that more often for some better mixup. I also should try using it after a 2A or 5B (1) instead. My pressure is still a WIP. I can't mindlessly throw out moves unless I know they're frametraps. I just don't trust people not to press buttons. I realize I'm going to have to give up on that ideal eventually, but... after getting accustomed to netplay it's hard. Tournament tomorrow so I gotta get some sleep. Thanks for the advice. I don't expect anyone to sit through and watch all these matches, but if someone else has some advice too, I appreciate it.

I meant the 5C you had before the 6C. As far as 6D: It's not safe. But I do it against people who like to neutral tech all the time, or if I'm feeling particularly lucky. It's just an occasionally wake up option aside from the norm.

That's true, but you have to make sure that you tech before the Kokushi super flash, otherwise the tech will eat the Yukikaze input as far as I can tell.

Enjoy your first two years as much as possible. It becomes much harder later on.
