  1. ;_; ;___________; I've stopped doing that, by the way. Says ye who Sanctus Aequums into my face from full screen. The difference is that I fall for it, even when I know it's coming. I want to netplay so bad right now, but I'm trash on stick (not that pad was much better, lol!) and I think switching back and forth is bad.
  2. I'm not sure if he was borrowing the game from a friend or if he forgot to update this, but Hoshi has Extend now. Kicked my ass real bad in it.
  3. I noticed Ren do Sekkajin > 66 3C > 623B > (Delay) 214C when near the corner. In the 5B(2) > 5C > Sekkajin > 66 6C > 2D > 66 6B > Sekkajin > 6C > 214C combo, is it possible to replace 6C > 214C with 66 3C > 623B > (Delay) 214C when you find yourself near the corner during the second sekkajin? I'd test it myself, but I'm transitioning to stick so I'm fumbling inputs again. Edit: Switched back to pad temporarily to try it out. Looks like it works. Generated 3083 damage, and 45 heat gain. Nice.
  4. Oh, I guess I didn't post this in here yet, but FYI: I won't be coming to casuals tomorrow. I've got some stuff to do this weekend. I will definitely try my best to be there next weekend though. Should be able to stay longer that weekend as well.
  5. The important things aren't physical like boobs or dat ass, but those certainly are a plus!
  6. Hahahaha, poor PK. Also, poor Romey. XD
  7. Iunno, I'm more of a fan of B cups than I am of flat chests. :P
  8. I saw Mariwo do this when close to the corner: 623D (opponent now in corner) > 6C > 623B > 66 6C > 623C > 5A > 5C > 2C > 623C 4130 damage and 24 heat gain, meaning it's essentially a free 4k+ combo. Are there better options when you find yourself using DP D near the corner?
  9. From first-hand experience, IB'd 2D... feels bad man. ;_________; Seriously though, I hate that change so much. Removed a good frametrap, but it's good for breaking primers and testing to see if your opponent IBs a lot or not.
  10. I think I sent a request, at the very least. I'm still not sure if I can go to Storm surge. I gotta see how my money situation is.
  11. 'Twas fun. I need someone to 1 on 1 with me sometime with Jin, so someone can tell me exactly what I'm doing wrong, and perhaps teach me to pressure and IB. XD
  12. You all totally want to play this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2uYnBcwd4Os
  13. I didn't realize he was talking about the standard DP loop to begin with. XD Herp derp.
  14. I don't either, but I made sure the get that price either way. XD
  15. Thanks for the heads up. I'm sitll not sure if that price was a mistake or not.
  16. "Delay cancel"? What does that mean? I'm able to do the 5B variation (623B > 6C > Dash > 5C > 6C > 623C > 5B) only if I delay the initial 6C until right before they touch the ground, and immediately Dash and 5C > 6C. That's guaranteed to get them the right height for 623C > 5B, if you are consistant with your execution of it. Unfortunately, I'm not. I often fuck up the initial 6C which means only a 5A will work.
  17. As could my own and many others. It's important to make people realize that, so every site to join the cause and show this is appreciated, no matter how focused, niche, or targeted the userbase is. I'm glad to know people around here care.
  18. Thanks to whoever changed the logo. Thanks for supporting the cause. Just felt the need to say that.
  19. 2D link...? Hmm, well the only time I can think that you might be referring to is the Sekkajin > 66 6C > 2D section. Yeah, I drop that a lot. The 66 is a microdash that requires pretty impeccable timing. I'm still getting used to it and in all honesty I'm considering dropping that combo in favor of things I know I'll rarely, if ever, drop. Double Sekkajin is nice to be able to pull off, but if you fail that microdash, you either have to 214C on reaction (assuming you hit with 6C in time) or you've dropped the combo and the oki is absolute shit. Midscreen 623D is me being a noob. XD I did that when I really couldn't think of anything else to try, so I decided to go for breaking primers. I never fight Noel, so I don't quite know the matchup or what to use. When all else fails, I go for guard break. I'd rather guard break from a distance, rather than sloppily apply close-quarters pressure only to have you counter, ass-bump me into a corner and destroy my health bar. Yeah the burst mistakes were me being dumb, either thinking you had done more damage than you really had, or on instinct after being pounded in the corners. There were a few times that night that I burst with barely any life left, and afterwards thought to myself "Oh fuck, that was really dumb... why did I do that!?" Yeah, Hige mentioned something but hasn't posted in the thread in a while. If Kurushii needs a ride still, I can probably swing by St. Pete, but I'd need to leave home a lot earlier. Edit: Nevermind, Kuru's busy.
  20. I appreciate the encouragement. XD I've been practicing practically every day. I need to start learning more situational combos and hit confirming off sweeps and overheads. I also need a good Jin play to give me some direction for keeping constant pressure on the opponent. I've turned to spamming Ice Swords and 2D, and occasionally running in for an in-your-face pressure string. I don't like running in though, because after 1 or two strings, I lose pace and can't keep it up. Terra told me earlier that same day I fought you to "Stop pressing buttons =[" because I was impatient and kept getting myself stuck in counter-combos. XD I tried to keep that in mind when fighting everyone else that day. Also, hey Azure, how the hell should I approach you in a match? You like wait for me to come into close range so you can smack me into a huge combo, but aside from spamming ice swords, what do you suggest? Anyhow, as far as Winterfest goes, I've still got an empty car. We need more people!
  21. Yeah, but it looked pretty awesome and it probably would've worked on me anyhow. I just happened to be in the right mindset and immediately thought "OH SHIT- MIXUP", but usually my reflexes aren't that great.
  22. Hey Kurushii, remember that awesome double cross-up mixup you did last night, that I somehow managed to block? Yeah, that was awesome. You should do it more often. XD
  23. I must've been lucky enough to play against people who don't know him all that well. The mixups are killer though.
  24. Relius seems pretty easy to block. You just gotta watch for the fucking mixups. >_< As far as pressure, I haven't figured out quite how to approach him. Doesn't seem too hard though.
  25. Yeah, didn't he rape your Hakumen with Valk when I first got there? No offense against your game, just it already looked pretty crazy.
