Yeah, that seems to be my issue. I was just too high when I hit with j.B - gah that's retarded. I probably should be using j.2C instead anyhow.... need to train myself to do that.

Lol, I agree, but I still sometimes do it because I forgot it's not CSII anymore. On that note, I'm not sure if this has always been like this, but I usually can confirm a hit with j.B into 5B>sekkajin.... however, I noticed I could NOT do this on Noel. Has anyone else noticed that?

Because I wanted to learn how to play with a stick. I figured I'll adjust to it eventually, but I've never played stick before in my life... so it's not easy. Other combos are much easier though. I tend to have troubles with dashing to the left and also when dashes are combined with quarter-circle rotations.

I'm using stick, so I'm failing miserably at it. If I was on pad again, I could probably do em.

Challenge mode is helpful for getting an idea of how the character moves. For actual combos, you come here.

I dislike Jin's new playstyle. He's got good corner carry, but that's assuming a counterhit 6B, crouching opponent or 5B starter. And even then, I just can't seem to pull off the j.214A wallbounce shit. I can do that j.C catch, but playing stick keeps me from doing that wallbounce thing.

If I wanted easy, I'd main Ragna with Jin as my sub, because I already know him. But no, I'm not going to main fagna. >

I was looking for an EX combo thread, but there doesn't appear to be one. I wanna pick Haku up as a sub, but I'm not sure where to start.

It shouldn't be, but for some reason no matter WHEN I press 2D, Bang hits me for a counterhit. WTF Have you tried looking at the Haku section? It's fucking barebones empty. I was doing Haku's to get an idea of what comboing with him is like. I figured I'd look on Dustloop later for real combos, but I don't even see an updated Combo section, so wtf.

One day, I swear I'll learn how to do those blasted j.214A wallbounce combos.

That actually helped a LOT. Thanks guys, I'm getting this like 75% of the time now. I think with a little more practice I'll be solid on it. When I first started trying it, I was autopiloting j.2C into j.C thinking it didn't matter. When I started delaying the j.C a tiny bit, it works beautifully.

Alright, can somebody give me advice for landing j.2C > j.C > 66 5B properly? no matter when I try to input that microdash, the combo either drops after j.C or the microdash doesn't come out and I only hit with the first hit of 5B. What am I doing wrong? Edit: Figures, after spending a while not being able to get this, as soon as I post about it I get the timing T_T

I would've offered a ride, but I had to leave casuals around 6:45 to go to some club functions at USF. I wasn't gonna get done there until pretty late, so I'm not sure how you would've gotten home. :/ Likewise. I'm at a point where I know something is coming, like a grab or an unsafe move, but my reflexes are still not quick enough to react. And oh lordy those dropped combos. That normally doesn't happen... wonder what was wrong with me. I also gotta learn more situation DP loops in the corner. I need more than 1 combo
