  1. it kinda depends on which move you're trying to JC, but in general it's after the move hits. dunno if it'll help, but go to training mode and turn on the input display. then do whatever combo you're practicing, and look at the inputs. if there's an up arrow before an attack button, then you're hitting it too early (over-anticipating?). otherwise, i think it's still possible to input jump after the attack button, but too early for a jump cancel to occur.

  3. thanks for the combo transcriptions! i don't understand what you mean by "tech buffer" and "damage buffer", but in any case, some of the notes you made are good to keep in mind -- i hadn't thought of that kind of stuff before.

    goddamnit, i thought you were gonna say something... grumble...
  5. whose airdash? you can grab people out of their airdashes; you can't grab during your own (i think...).
  6. X + triangle on start-up.
  7. uh why the hell are you guys talking about this here? either post about money matching in the SE-R thread (it's not like we deleted it...), or do it via PM/instant messenger. :8/:
  8. i'm convinced that some button input helps, but i think most people say it's just stick input.
  9. oh, i didn't post. they are at: www.strokethebigtree.com/rtl_s_movies/ => Teyah_request
  10. it's in the player's guide, look under charts and stuff. it'll give you blockstun if you IB, so just subtract that from the normal blockstun and that's your advantage.
  11. upper left. there's a bunch of japanese, then PASS:neyagawa. the Filebank link is the one above that.
  12. Teyah: see RoBoBOBR's above request. i'll upload the Honnorito vids for you, too.
  13. right-click -> save as... DOWNLOAD~ you're welcome!
  14. yeah.
  15. they are all up: http://www.strokethebigtree.com/rtl_s_movies/AC_Slayer They are organized by match-up, then by arcade/homepage I found them from (or just left in the match-up folder itself if I don't know/remember where it came from). I don't generally include player names in the filenames because I don't care -- sorry to those that do. I can try to figure out who was playing if you ask me for the player in a specific match, but it may take a little while. PLEASE do not download more than one or two at a time! Also, if any of the files are corrupt (it happens, sometimes), let me know and I will re-upload that file!
  16. haven't tried it myself, but i think i know the combo vid you're talking about, and it was a really low air throw, if that helps.
  17. uh shouldn't that go in the AH thread in the Misc. Fighter section?
  18. wow these matches are lawlz. Ray gets double clean hit ON BLOCK. I block an Eddie unblockable. madness~~
  19. you lack Originality =\
  20. this isn't the general gg question thread, and no.
  21. hey paul can you re-up the older ones? i left those on my dad's computer in winnipeg >_>);
  22. it matters, but you can test it out to see what you prefer. VDub should give you lots of compression options.
  23. "Yoiko no minna ha, terebi kara ichi me~to ijou hanarete miru you ni... na?" "All good children, please watch from more than 1 metre from the TV... okay?" (Sorry that it's not a great translation, but it's a bit clumsy to translate into English because Japanese is too polite~) I'm not sure where it comes from, either, but maybe it's a generic warning for Japanese children shows? There was that one incident a few years ago with the Pikachu episode, where someone got a seizure, so maybe they had a law passed about it. (Just like in manuals for video games, how they have a warning for epilepsy.) ......: everything is up at www.strokethebigtree.com/rtl_s_movies
