watch Raiel's second Slayer combo vid for fancy DOT FRC combos. DOT FRC j.H -> 6H -> 5H ... is HUGE damage for 75% tension.

most characters just have to hit 2D on reaction and you'll lose, so yeah it's a bit poopy. it's mostly an ace up your sleeve that you use to punish a predictable (and unsafe) pressure string. like take Baiken, if she runs up to you and does 2K-c.S-2D xx tatami and doesn't FRC, you can D-step xx PB out of the tatami without even IBing the 2D. that sort of thing.

if you can pop them up high enough (i.e. they're light, or they were somewhat aerial when you reversalled them), you can go for a running jump -> airdash -> falling j.H. This should lift them up a bit and keep them from teching while you land and relaunch with whatever you want. It's good damage, but it's not easy.

Keep The Flag Flying should be selectable, it's the last song if you go left-to-right in the music selection in the Character Select screen. (i.e. hit left a few times cuz it always starts at CHARCTER, it should be left of RANDOM.) sure i'll put up No Mercy, it'll be at the same place so i won't repost the link.

FRCing reduces tension gain by some percentage, so maybe the timing of the 15th hit corresponds to when the tension penalty from FRCing expires?

in the latest a-cho same character matches between BA and PO, why did Maruken fall for unblockable slide head so much? was he afraid that he'd get hit by the "physical" hit of slide head?

buppa is short for buppanasu which very roughly translates to "reckless", kinda the way we say scrubs "mash" on attacks. i guess "buppa-lands" is like "scrub-badlands"? edit: to qualify where i'm getting this from, my girlfriend's example was: "if a guy goes into a room with a machine gun and fires at random all over the place, that's 'buppanasu'."

you should read the Foundations forum first, there are a few stickied threads that break down the terminology and give you some other basic pointers about the game. plus, in the announcements (look at the top of every forum) there is a link to a "player's guide", it wouldn't hurt for you to browse through some of the introductory topics.
