it could be that 6H has an FRC, so the Pot may trick you into getting twitchy with wake-up super? maybe some people just don't know how to combo properly after a CH Eternal Wings shruuuk
-
why do you say this? whiffing a SB doesn't mean you eat CHs afterwards -- it just means you can't block.
-
it sounded like Jais was asking what Hell side was, so yeah, I was just referring him to Bahamutt's own description of what it is (i.e. heavy metal music version). sorry if it was a bit terse. However, I can't tell if that means Hell side has different combos from Heaven side, or if it's the same combos as Heaven side, but remixed/re-edited using heavy metal instead of J-pop.
-
It's really unsafe if you guess wrong. Then again, who are you referring to when you say "anyone"? People that generally bait reversals won't fall for it... but in "America" (read: not-Japan), that's certainly not everyone.
-
well i'm not a fan of haruhi but some of the songs are okay in their original form -- plus, it's a robot vid, so i thought it was neat that they do a remix-medley like that. (is "electronica" the right word, here?)

opening post, third/fourth line.

they're on their way up. they're up: www.strokethebigtree.com/rtl_s_movies/stinkymonz_request/

oh i think he was talking about metal and rock.
-
i have no idea what you're talking about.

oh god, sonata arctica is the most overdone band for combo vid music x(

like Gonzales posted, waiting to block means you're waiting to be thrown. but the other thing is, even if the opponent doesn't throw you, they could just attack you with an unanticipated move. I mean, everyone has at least 15 or so ground attacks, so I highly doubt you'd be able to memorize all of those, for all characters (21 in all, do the math). and everyone has a bunch of moves that are fast enough that you simply can't react to. so yeah, you're either going to be hit by something you didn't anticipate, so your SB timing will be off, or you'll get thrown.
-
How do you plan on SBing (nearly) every attack?
-
rofl you're welcome, everyone!
-
don't have the balls to post it in english, eh? troll.
-
oh what the hell, i didn't actually post the link even though i uploaded it right after this post :8/: sorry guys, it's here: www.strokethebigtree.com/rtl_s_movies/ => DOTDOTDOT_request => Deci_and_DandyStepper_request => selfishstyle_request DandyStepper, the "final.avi" that's not in your folder is not the one you want.
-
flashy is not always better. sometimes it gets in the way of the combos, which can be a good or bad thing, depending on the combos :P
-
i'm on an island! lol!!
-
wow how did you know i was going to read this? anyways no off-topic posts in here OKAY okay :D
-
can you give an original link for Cursed Dance? i don't think i've heard of that one. Deci, DandyStepper, selfishstyle: they're on their way up, i'll post the links in a few minutes. edit: i managed to append the sides of Final together. I also resized it to 320x240 (cuz that's iPod resolution, right?) -- hope you don't mind, DandyStepper.

easy does it, no need to get grumpy. i don't get it because i don't understand why you didn't go for option 3). Why not split it into two parts: part 1, where SH_ plays as Baiken; part 2, where SH_ plays as Eddie? That's all I'm saying. Yeah, I know, it's just the first tiny little bit, so I wasn't making a big complaint, but I didn't understand why option 3 wasn't chosen.
-
i don't get it -- aren't you posting these so people can watch them? (how are we supposed to watch them if they're playing at double speed?) funny choice of music, though :P

It's a hit property that only exists for Sidewinder, Grand Viper, and Fafnir. The quantitative properties (i.e. CL SW damage formula, and CL untechable time) are listed in the frame data: http://www.dustloop.com/data/ac/select.html => Sol (check the "Comments" column under SW, GV and Fafnir, and also the footnote to the damage column for SW)

i totally forgot about this thread. well it's like a month-old update but just for the record, in case you didn't see it over in the Video Posting thread, there's a new combo vid and an assortment of combo clips at Mattari Wahuku again: http://mattariwahuku.himegimi.jp/ => http://mattariwahuku.himegimi.jp/douga.htm

hm i think you made a mistake in your second combo, hs doesn't gatling to 2d. if you're close enough to your opponent when you hit them initially, it's possible to combo to tatami and then (usually) sj.psd. i.e. run in -> 2k,s,2d xx tatami -> sj.psd works. however, if you're not that close, it's very likely that you'll need to FRC your tatami to follow-up. and this is especially true if you use a move like 5H before your tatami -- 5H does more pushback than 2D does, so unless you're only doing 5H xx tatami as your ground combo, you will HAVE to FRC to follow-up (i.e. if you do 2K-c.S-5H xx tatami, you'll have to FRC). btw, there isn't much reason to end your air combo with Youzansen (j.623S) unless your opponent is about to die and you don't have tension to do j.S-D FRC ad.j.S-D. as for the best combo at midscreen with 25% tension, it depends on what you're starting out with. ground string xx tatami? CH tatami? CH Baku? Sakura FRC? CH Youshijin? Kabari -> Tetsuzansen?

I managed to find the entry in the ggxx.jugem.jp archives, and it says: 「風にお願い (Briefly Trance Version)」 # DJMAXの曲の改変版だそうな So the song name is "Kaze ni Onegai (Briefly Trance Version)", and I think the little comment is saying that it's a remix of a DJ MAX song. (DJ MAX is a rhythm game for PSP I think.)
