i'm okay! there was a huge earthquake (8.8) off the coast of Sendai about an hour ago. just crazy. edit: according to the USGS picture, there were like 5 or 6 earthquakes all across east/northeast japan O_O it's still shaking in my apartment, here. edit2: the tsunami looks crazy, i'm glad i at least don't live in northeast japan.

well maybe it was just my version that i downloaded (if there were updated versions of the demo?), but ESC was completely disabled for the entire demo and there wasn't even a spot in the Hotkey menu for "Main Menu" where I could assign ESC. i just thought it was really weird that it wasn't there. why are there so many Mortal Kombats

just out of curiosity, for the handful of people here who played the DA2 demo, i was wondering how the gameplay in the actual game compares. is it just like in the demo, or was there anything fixed? (is there a fricking hotkey for the main menu?!)

if i'm not mistaken, the announcers in the BB series are the VAs for some other character in the game, although i don't remember which ones, off-hand.

right, yeah that's what i was afraid of. when i tried ordering it just now, i got an error message saying "Dragon Age II is Country restricted on your IP", which I've had happen to me before. i'm not really sure why that would even happen, but i guess i just have to buy it from an import game store.

some vs Platinum trivia: the bubbles can be cut, and in particular, can be yukikaze'd. just in case anyone was wondering (sorry if it was already posted elsewhere).

if you're looking for regional competition, first check to see if a thread for your area already exists, and then post in there. if you're only looking for online competition, you might be better off posting in the Online Play subforum.

i'm not saying i'm 100% right, but in my experience so far, the only time that: (low) hotaru -> land -> iad.j.2C ... is a valid combo is on a counter hit Hotaru. (or maybe it would work on some characters that i just haven't tried yet) btw, you can also compare within the same video by watching the vs. Tager combo (0:53) -- you can clearly hear him land after the hotaru (his feet make this big GUZHUNK sound lol), and the air dash trajectory is slightly different compared to previous combos.

oh, i hadn't noticed that! however, even after editing the colours, saving it, and then refreshing it, it seems like the settings aren't being saved. even if i log out and then log back in, it seems to always use the default colour scheme.

i also have the same problem.
