  3. I just found out that in the corner, you can link 5A off of a throw. While the damage is very scarce (throw > 5A > j.ABD > j.214D > 2A > 5B > DID ~little over 2k damage) it maybe good for opponents with little health left who are mashing burst.

  5. I just picked this game up again and I'm really digging the j.D > j.214B delay j.214D route, even from an innocent 2B hit with RC you get fullscreen carry and 3.3k damage.

  8. What route do you have to do on Chipp in c.s 5hs(2) 1hs > ??? > j.236hs 2hs 236hs? On Potemkin does someone know a more damaging/advanced route than just ... 1hs 6j.s 3j.s (6p) 236hs?

While moving is the first tricky thing to learn about Bedman, one thing I'd say you should definitely learn is to capitalize on throws, especially in the corner 'cause combos off of throws reset djv-icons and deal good damage. Also Bedman seems to have one of the largest throw ranges among the cast, which really benefits his throw/mixup game.

  17. Commence frame data speculation: what do people think about 236hs post-patch? In 1.0 the frame data said it was -2 on block but from my experience of abusing it a lot I get away with it way too often, even when my opponents instant block it. Does it have something to do with the rocks coming from the ground thus the special having active frames / hitboxes even when the character itself is in recovery? Or is the frame data for first active frame (in the falling portion of the move) AND because the characters aren't tall enough, they never block it in the first frame (not unless jumping), so practically it's not -2 on block?

  19. in the corner you can do a bit better damage by putting 6p before c.s ie 5d>dash 6p>c.s>5hs(2)>236k>c.s>5hs(2)>1hs>236hs (on those characters that it works on) in midscreen you can do 5d>dash 236hs>2p>c.s>236hs (pretty tight to execute, not sure if character specific)
  20. Hey, does moving in 7/8/9 directions with the command movement require you to press: 8 (to jump) + 8 (to stop in mid-air) + double tap into 7/8/9 -direction to move, or is it just my stick? Moving in 4/1/2/3/5 works with just one tap (8+8+direction).
  21. CH 3D / 6D > 6A > IAD j.AB > 5B > aircombo seems to be a thing, near corner [uW] CH 3D > 6A > IAD j.AB > 5B > sj.BC > j.D > TCL > 2C > 6D nets you 4.6k, tested on Ragna.
  22. What combo would people recommend for corner dust hits? I've been using 6p > c.s > 6p > c.s > 5hs > task C to get the opponent to stay in the corner and reset the icon. Personally I don't like the delay 6hs > task A' route 'cause the timing is strict and the projectile seems to whiff on some of the cast.

  24. c.S P gp is really useful against dandy-happy Slayers, if the move whiffs press P to activate gp and catch the opponent's follow-up attack. Only really loses to no follow-up > throw.
  25. Finally got the game and I reeeeeeeeeally don't like what they did to sentinel... It's slower and clearly has less active frames, making timing in OD combos really finicky and height dependent. It feels like 3C's proration has been nerfed but I'm not sure... Overall the character feels stiff and off-key but I guess I'll just have to get used to him.
