  1. Let me clear myself up; the change was that moves that normally levitate the opponent higher on hit lose that ability during Valiant Charger. The best 2 examples at this given time are j.C and Growler, it seems that drive moves remain untouched like they have always been. That change might (MIGHT) have cost us dual weak point valiant combos (because j.C doesn't work like used to) but in return we got an unburstable Valiant combo, which is the one where you use Growler over and over again. The change to Growler itself had nothing to do with it because it used to have invulnerability frames followed up by "absorbing" frames so the effect would have been the same but in 1.1 during charger Growler sends them flying like it does normally (+ you can't cancel Growler if you use it during Charger), thus no possibility to follow Growler up with another Growler. You can test this yourself by trying to do the Valiant Growler combo in 1.1. It seems Cobra still levitates them at little higher at the corner. 22C & 214C Sentinels both seem to have a longer startup. Sucky

  9. Not sure but basically no more Valiant Hornet dual weak point stuff, normally/in 1.1 during Charger j.C launches the opponent upwards (like here) but in 2.0 that doesn't happen anymore ( ). Only Cobra seems to levitate them higher a little. You can try it out yourself with multiple Growlers in 1.1.
  10. From the video I'd say TCL > RC > 22C is possible They showed those because Valiant was changed, attacks won't launch anymore/launching attacks wallstick during charger (not sure about drive moves). Just look at j.C and Growler

  12. In those examples ODR seems to have some recovery so you can't just cancel any move into it to punish, cpu Ragna did the Hell's Fang follow-up even though the first hit was OD canceled.

  14. Don't forget the OD: even at full health in the corner he can easily get a 4k combo anywhere on the screen. Cancel-OD throw counters anyone?

Welcome, this thread is kinda empty because Azrael's combos didn't really change much between 1.0 & 1.1 so the stuff in combo thread 1.0 is still viable, I'm pretty sure you'll find those combos you posted (alongside with countless other ones) there.
  16. You can play any character with or without their drive, differences in performance can be pretty big tho

  20. Yeah, dead spikes are more common but that one time with carnage scissors will haunt me for the rest of my life If I understood your post correctly that is.

  22. ^ easily proven with Azrael j.2C, has actives 'till landing but height makes a difference if you wish to blue beat pickup lazy techs.
  23. You guys think every character has received guerrila-buffs to their OD DD damage? That Hazama is just ridiculous.
