Since my flight leaves the next morning at 7 am, I dont really think I can house people after the tournament, but I might be able to house a few on the Friday night before the tournament.

All tournaments start at 3:00 pm (DONT BE LATE!) We can stay as late as 3 am, so there wont be a problem finishing everything. Though Nickel City is an arcade, all games will be played on console Fees: There will be a $10 venue fee. Please help out by bringing any TVs or consoles that would help things run smoother and allow for more casuals and tournaments to run faster. I think this should get its own thread considering its like the next biggest GG tournament series in Japan next to SBO right now. http://game2d.web.fc2.com/ggxx/ Heres the official site. They have results posted on there as well from each week. I dunno if mods would rather move it to somewhere besides international events but I think it should have a thread for discussion since it will be going on up until mid March 2011. There will be a 2 on 2 tournament with qualifiers. There will be, I think, a total of 12 qualifying tournaments held over 8 days, every other weekend. 2 stores will have tournaments at the same time on the Saturdays and one on each of the Sundays, and from each tournament, top 2 advances to the final tournament. So I think there will be a total of 24 teams if I am not mistaken. So every 2 weeks, with 2 days of tournaments (Sat and Sun) meaning 3 tournaments per weekend, there will be 6 teams that qualify total in a weekend. Then, starting in January the singles tournament quals will begin and these will work like that have in the past with a points system that determines who makes it in. The grand finals and main events will take place over a 3 day weekend in March. There will be the final 2 on 2 tournament, the singles tournament, special team tournaments, and other events! There are already some vids from last weekend in the Guilty Pleasures thread for vids.

Not sure about details of the FFXIV songs cuz Ive never played the game or heard the music from it till now but they all sounded good. There were 4 different ones. One of them had vocals the rest were instramental. Ryoko will be around. Xmas break is too busy for her to take enough time off work to go with me to Chicago, but she will go with me again next summer. So yea, she should be around. Im sure she can find a little time to chill or something. Ill ask her what her schedule will be like.

Fujiya homepies were just the regular kind. Theres like over 100 in the bag I won though. Its funny cuz my girlfriend works for Fujiya so sometimes she gives me free ones anyway lol as for the future of GG, honestly anything could happen at this point everything is just speculation.
