  3. blog updated again I took some pics, not sure when I will upload them but I will post when I do
  4. I finally got around to uploading a TON of pictures dating all the way back to June. Check out my pictures page if you are interested. Link is on my blog.
  5. Blog updated. Candydad, yea dude it was cool running into you at Mikado. Good games. See you next time you visit Japan. St1ckbug, yea bad timing. Hopefully next time
  6. Actually poker isnt all that popular here. Most of the people we play with are just other foreigners (aside from one Japanese guy and my girlfriend). Yea, sucks I wont be around this weekend. My sports festival landed on the worst possible day for me this year.
  7. blog updated i tried uploading a bunch of old photos last week but flickr was being a bunch of bitches so it wasnt working for some reason. i will try again soon and post if it works
  8. Dont worry, I plan to make it to that poker game the next day so i wont go TOO crazy... plus last weekend I drank way too much. So yea, you guys should join me at the bars.
  9. Alright then, I can meet up with you guys Saturday night after Final Roundbats is over. If you want to go out drinking, I can take you guys to Current, PSY, and GODZ. If you just wanna take it easy and play GG casuals, I suppose we could play at Kyles place if he doesnt mind. Sunday, I am playing poker in Gunma so I wont be sticking around. The following weekend is my schools sports festival so I have to work and will probably just end up staying in Gunma the whole time. So, the only time I will see you is probably Saturday night but we can play games or drink or whatever. Ill pm you my cellphone info.
  10. Hellmonkey, how long are you going to be living here? I might not be around in Tokyo the weekend you arrive but Ill be around in Tokyo fairly often as usual so im sure we will find some time to drink and play games. Blade, I think I already uploaded those on my flickr page. I actually have been super lazy with uploading pics and I have ton of pictures from a while back up until now that I need to upload so I should hopefully have those up sometime this week. I will post on here when they are uploaded.
  11. blog has been updated St1ckbug, what exact dates will you be here? I'm sure I can probably meet up with you around some point. The first weekend of September, I will be just staying in my town. I should be in Tokyo the weekend of Sept 10th and the Final Roundbats tournament is going on at Hobgoblin in Akasaka so if you are interested in coming out to play some SF and Marvel or just to chill and drink and eat pizza, that would be cool. As for the weekend of TGS and SBO... it pains me to say this but I cant make it to SBO this year. My school's sports festival falls on the same day as SBO this year so I have to work. Im not sure what my plans are going to be like for that weekend. I may or may not even go to Tokyo. As far as recomended places, if you wanna play GG, you should go to Mikado. Its right next to Takadanobaba station in the ally by the Lawson. You can see it from the station platform. I guess if you have any more specific questions just let me know
  12. Ikagki-chan, I dont know their reasons for it but as far as general rules or whatever, its totally fine to play in a tournament that you are running. I always enter the GG tournaments where I run brackets like at Frosty Faustings and other past Chicago majors that I have ran the brackets for. The only real down side to it is that things can slow down slightly when you are playing your match cuz you cant call new ones but if you have someone to help you out or if you call lots of matches on deck before you play, things will continue to run smoothly for the few minutes you are playing your match.
  13. I know I ocved like 2 teams at least and I was sometimes using the blue faust. RF used black faust the whole time so it must have been me. what characters were on the team?
  14. nice show, just listened Steve, im more than happy to give you a run back anytime. please come to frosty faustings.
