I havnt seen Shoot enter any quals yet and he was just at the last one to run it cuz he works at Sportsland. He was pretty busy so I didnt have a chance to really talk to him but if I see him around I will ask him his plans. I know he was playing BB pretty heavily for a while so he might be focusing on BB over GG this year but im not sure

yea thats pretty bogus Chip told me something about how he heard from people in the industry that they are actually working on a real new Chrono game. I have no idea of any details or how credible this is, but its still bullshit what happened with that rom hack

Everyone come to Shinjuku Las Vegas tonight for casuals! I want to enter the Shizuoka block final tomorrow in Numazu but most of the Japanese players I team with cant enter or dont want to travel that far. We should meet up and talk about the possability of going out there on Saturday (Dream Maker? Joe Higashi? Matt? Rod? whoever else?). Im all set for my team for Sunday at Game Chariot since I have 3 people that want to team with me LOL... but it would be nice to enter in Shizouka also. The more chances the better. Anyway, yea, go to Vegas, see you all there

I finally got around to upgrading my Flickr account (those bastards made me pay 25 bucks for a year to keep all my photos up) I also uploaded like 200 new pictures from the past month or so including stuff from Bosch crazy birthday party my Kansai trip that big dude Potemkin bustering girls at Current pictures of us all chilling at my apartment and more!

yea I could write it in katakana or use kanji next time I guess... but I dont really care. By now they already know me as ElevenShadow so I might as well just leave it. I explained it to Shoot once and he understand what it means now, but it seems most everyone else doesnt, and its too much work to explain it to all of them every single time, so I just stopped giving a shit lol. The funny thing is, they had my name spelled right in the brackets on the same page that they posted the vids on in which my name is spelled wrong. Go figure

Rod: sounds good im down. Filled out the form Axel: it will be cool to have you back again for a bit. how long will you be in Tokyo for? EasyMode: yea that combo basically works only in the corner off a command throw and it also only works on a few characters (off the top of my head, Axl, Potemkin, Slayer, Testament, Faust, for sure... might work on someone else but I cant remember at the moment). Basically the way their falling physics are altered by getting hit so many times from the throw and other hits before hitting them with the flower, causes the ground flower to only bounce them up a little bit, so they cant tech before they fall again and get hit by another flower. The more hits, the lower they fly up. After a certain ammount of reps, they actually can tech out, but if they miss the chance when they were supposed to tech, you can keep it going for quite a while because they wont be able to tech again for a bit. Its not that hard of a combo and ive done it a zillion times in regular matches but getting lucky enough to have the meteors come out and combo in made it work even better because after all those hits, they were getting hit up in the air so low that it was easy to keep it going for a long time. It basically starts to do like almost no damage at all after a while but its funny and looks cool and is good to use if they have almost no life left or if you just wanna burn some time on the clock. I first learned about it when I saw it in an RF vid a long time ago. I think he actually does it in one of his matches from SBO like from 2 years ago. Also, depending on what item you get, it can fuck your combo up or help it so sometimes its good to just not throw and item and end the combo before they can tech, but in any case its a fun combo to mess around with. Zerite: to point out specific instances I would need to watch the vid again but im posting from work right now and cant watch it. However, there are certain times when using f.P doesnt always works so well. Sometimes May will comepletely go behind it and it will whiff, other times it will get stuffed cuz it wont come out fast enough before she lands on you. In the first round, I remember using it as more of a psychic pre anti air. I ran at May when she was in the corner and assumed she would try to jump out and as soon as she left the ground the f.P caught her in the air cuz I guess right. Maybe there were time when I could have utilzed it better in the later rounds. Ill watch the video again sometime later

well, the G3 matches are up on gamechariot http://gamechariot.com/g3_090228_sin.html You can find my match on there as well Thanks to the guys who pointed it out on replys in my blog I watched my match and I dont think I played bad but there were a few small things that could have really changed the match for me. At about 2:22 I hit may with a down kick in the air and tried to combo it into a ground hit but I was just a bit too high up and instead should have gone for a pogo forcebreak combo since I had 100% bar anyway. I went for the more damanging combo and in the end it cost me. I dont think it would have killed her but I could have used that meter to end it in knockdown and possibly could have ended it right there. I also pretty much just suck at getting May off of me once shes on me cuz she almost will always just beat out anything I toss out so I usually just try to escape by blocking and jumping out but it didnt work so well this time. And then of course the finish of the match when I tried to forcebreak over her dive move but it didnt work. At least now I know not to try that again :P I really need to learn this matchup better. oh well
