Unfortunately I wont be making it to EVO this time around. The date is one week earlier than it was last year which means I still have to teach classes for another week after EVO. It worked well since it was on my way back to visit home last year but this year I wouldnt be able to get the time off. It sucks but theres nothing I can do about it. Hopefully Ill see some of you at Frosty Faustings next month. Goodluck with making the EVO GG side tournament good.

Glad you can make it. Well Keits is the one who is running the SFIV teams and this was his idea. Its still kinda up for debate though so go post on SRK if you (anyone) wanna discuss the SFIV team tournament.

Also... SFIV teams format has been completely changed. We are still discussing it on the SRK thread but if you plan to enter SFIV please voice your opinion

OK so the first post is updated and now BB teams is 5 bucks single elim.

Now that NEC is over, its time for the GG scene to start looking forward to the next big Guilty Gear event, Frosty Faustings! I really hope to see all the serious GG players show up for this one and support their game!

Actually at this very moment while I am typing this, Opeth is playing live in Shibuya!!!! I wanted to go so bad but the only way I could is if I went on shinkansen both ways which would cost me 1-man plus the concert was like 7000 yen and thats just too much for me to burn on a Tuesday afternoon right now. It sucks cuz they ALWAYS play on weeknights when they come to Japan... At least i saw them live in Chicago like over 10 years ago heh
