It seems infinitely tougher to get back to 18th dan. Competition is fierce. He's currently at the middle of the 17th dan pack. He is 18th place at the time of this post. He had a decent showing at ArcRevo. By that I mean he didn't get bopped in the first round. However, Matsu has been doing some crazy things lately. He's at the top of the 16th dan bracket and 25th place overall right now which means that when player rankings roll up on the machine, there are TWO Makotos in the top 30. Oh snap. To be honest, I'm pleasantly surprised Matsu is sticking with her after being a Bang God since CT. His argument of "Bang is dead" isn't true at all and he's still a better character than Makoto. In any case, I'm not complaining and I'm glad he has joined us in "The Struggle." Eda is alive and well at 15th dan. Apparently the second ranked Azrael has a 13th dan Makoto, which sort of means he's my role model right now. All I need is a name now lol. Kuroku dropped back to 13th dan but he's still the combo king. Final verdict: things are looking alright for the worst character in the game. Makoto has some great reps helping her out in the second straight year of "The Struggle." "Keep calm and squirrel on."

You can't ignore Kagura's girth. Azrael's going to crush this dude though. There's so much storyline teasing, it's unbearable. This is going to be a summer of waiting. D:

Dogura is the highest ranked at 17th dan and he made top 4 at ArvRevo. Shiro is a fun one to watch as well.

Don't forget (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ and ( ｢・ω ・）｢ His animations are just so violent, I feel myself wanting to yell out in a primal rage every time I watch a decent Azrael beat the shit out of someone. I had no interest in him when he was first revealed; then I saw his combos and moveset. Now he controls 45% of my overall hype for BBCP (50% Makoto, 5% real hawkumang damage). Plus, listen to how manly his moves sound; Blackhawk Stinger, Patriot Apocalypse, Tiger Magnum, SENTINEL DUMP. The dude is a fucking beast. It's the same way I felt when I first saw Makoto back in CS1. The ridiculous displays of strength, the intense hitstop on her drives (no longer there), the insane damage (only available in Overdrive), all shoved in a scantily-clad squirrel-size package. I loved watching other characters slide across the stage on their face and seeing her channel her inner-Kenshiro. Makoto's the waifu. Azrael is the bro you knock back a few drinks with. He's the guy that you want covering your back when you get into a bar-fight (that he inevitably starts). EDIT: I saw that match. I loled when Shiro walked back in surprise when he saw whiffed Spider Cannon. It's like he was trying to figure out the best way to end the match without getting hit by it and thought "5C". Also, you can't escape his eyes.

From what I heard, wasn't CT Tager's command throw techable... which defeated the purpose of a command throw to begin with? If that's the case, then almost any iteration of Tager is better than CT in my eyes lol. Pretty sure Makoto is in that club too. Not everyone can hit a person hard enough to send them skidding for 20-30 feet on their faces. That and the moon thing.

I'm going to need Dogura to avenge his Sector 7 "teammate", then I'm going to need him to kick everyone in the face until they stop breathing. Let's go Azrael, the only new character that matters. Oh shit, Dogura is cosplaying Hazama, he's got this.

When I was typing my previous post out, I had the words "Bane" and "Batman" in it. So yes, Fenrichi is Japanese Batman. Tiku is Japanese Bane. There's a reason why most hero vs. villain fights are not best of 1.
